So only the 3rd time i have rewatched LOST and several times i have POI and finally realized that Navid Negahban was also in both.

In LOST he plays Sayid’s superior in Solitary and played Ali Hasen - Panopticon (POI)

Hi, I never looked because I thought POI was an old show to actually look for other work of the actors. So it was a surprise when I saw Jim Caviezel in a future movie : Ghost Soldier (2026/11/06)

When I shared my Machine rebuild, the most common question was some version of "only Mac? what about my phone?" (Windows is still on my list, I promise.)

So I built the Machine's view into my own iPhone camera app, XianNow Camera.（） There are seven looks: Admin, Primary Asset, Secondary Asset, Analog Interface, Threat, Irrelevant, and one called Machine Decides, which gives everyone in frame a random identity. The square box sits on your head and shoulders like in the show, follows your face, and gets smaller as you walk away. Hit the shutter and you get a still that looks like it came off one of its cameras.

The update is in App Store review right now and should be out in a day or two. It's free on iPhone. I'll post the link in the comments as soon as it's live.

I hate that Ellias dies but it is such good writing and I love how it is done. It makes sense and is satisfying but it is SO sad.

Don't get me wrong it was amazing in most places but it felt less rigorous than the previous seasons.

Shaw being a potential asset vs just a source of information to find the machine.

the sudden existence of a virus that can takedown both AIs (and they can't fight the virus).

Didn't get anything to tie the stories of Claire and the Samiritan boy.

No buildup or even a sudden realization for why the Machine would win against Samiritan on the satellite. I was actually hoping for a 3-4 minute VFXed battle between them once they were on the satellite.

Control/DC storyline was also kinda sidelined heavily. I enjoyed seeing past characters in the episode but machine bringing Control back into the game would've been nice.

I know a lot of these things are dependent on casting and talent availability. and it's generally hard to write a gripping plot when the AIs have no limitations.

Still I miss that detail in the final season.

ps: I liked what they did with Elias. Using him to hint to a ruthless finch before he finally turns.

Hello everyone - still watching the show for the first time - almost done with season 5 - and have been thinking about a website game - which I actually started to build - the way it works is your like doing what Finch/Root kind of does.

Your a tech doing all the online research and hacking - The games Machine gives you a number and you have to figure out what its all about - you have agents out in the field that you can communicate with through your phone with text massages - you can play either side the Machines side where you have to help people and stay hidden from Samaritan that's hunting you or get exposed - or play as Samaritan and shape the world while hunting for the machine?

Its all themed out like the computer systems - it will be like a desktop system that you log into -

This is not a sells pitch or anything like that - this would be a free open game for anyone - but if you do want to help let me know - I kind of have to build and fund this all myself so if you want to help speed this up - you can offer any support - if not then when it's finally done depends on time I have and funds for the server?

Person of Interest ended ten years ago, and I'm still watching it. I started in middle school, around 2013, and I've rewatched the whole series more than ten times since. It has helped me a lot in my life, and it changed how I think about things.

Now that the AI era really seems to be here, sometimes I feel like I'm living in the world of Person of Interest, and the line between the show and real life gets a little blurry.

So I tried to build The Machine.

It runs on a Mac with your webcam and iPhone camera. It boxes everyone it sees, recognizes you once you enroll yourself as ADMIN ("GOOD EVENING, ADMIN."), notices someone picking up a knife, and issues a number in the ###-00-#### format. It never says why.

There's also a console you can open right in your browser, no install: a wall of 32 cameras at real Manhattan intersections, dossiers, numbers, a map, and who-was-seen-with-whom, all on a fake city of 500 people.

The rule I set myself: every box, label and colour has to match an actual frame from the show. I searched all 103 episodes for reference shots (the S4 Manhattan map, the S5 "PRIMARY ASSET IDENTIFIED" panel, the S1 camera captions…). Anything the show never showed is marked as invented.

So please nitpick. If a box is the wrong shape or a label is wrong for the season, tell me and I'll fix it.

No footage from the show is used. The video is stock footage plus mock data, and the "ADMIN" in it is scripted. Faces never leave your computer.

Does anyone know the brand and style of the blue glasses worn by Terance Beagle (actor- Keith David) in season 5 episode 3 ?

I love Detective Fusco’s character and his ability to keep his funny intact especially in the most intense moments.

He had so many nicknames for each character.

My personal favourites are:
Harold (Glasses/Four Eyes), Root (Cocoa Puffs), Reese (Wonderboy) and Shaw’s (Maybelline) when shaw was working in a Make-up store undercover😭

Rewatching a show you’ve forgotten you were once obsessed with is a double-edged sword, because while yes, my love for the show awoke once more, the itch to go spend money on a person of interest tattoo was UNBEARABLE.
And of course, here I am, I caved in.

Have watched up to S5:E4 on Prime no problems. Go back today & it’s not in my Currently Watching queue. Have to search it out & it’s back at S1:E23. Weird, but whatever. I find S5:E4 & watch it. WHEW!! Intense.
When it ends my ❤️ is literally racing to watch E5 and S1:E1 of “BLUE RIDGE” starts playing. Wait!…WHAT…?
