I’ll be at my parents in Lebanon in a couple weeks (free childcare) and was thinking it’d be a good opportunity to play some paintball. Never played either of these options but they’re both within an hour drive.

Prefer speedball , will play woodsball as long as it’s well run and not like 1 game per hour.

Im looking at getting a few markers between 200ish and 2010ish. I already have a Vice, 2k5 intimidator, Angel G7. I still wanna get a shocker SFT or NXT, an Ego 11 (darted) and Autococker. Not really interested in the dm/pm series or other egos. Wanting to find markers by brand that I haven't listed already preferably. What else should I add to my list. My vice cause its pretty

Originally made these boards for a well known tec that requested them, but decided to make them available to everyone.

Made these sensor boards with sealed circuit board backs to mitigate moisture and paint corrosion on the contacts. This should help improve the long term viability of the eyes and reduce the instances that people have with the eyes not working properly after paint hits, dirt and grime from the breech, and galvanic corrosion on solder contacts which requires cleaning.

Next step is testing for a brand new sensor to mitigate the short supply of the original OEM one and to see if reliability can be improved any :)

Just a hypothetical for you: If I were to hop into some speedball practices at a local field, what are the main things I would be learning and drilling?

My real background: I own only Tippmanns so far (just because, not necessarily a loyalty thing). I play rec/woods ball once a month at my local field. Every now and then people are doing 1v1 or 2v2 or 3v3 on the one speedball field at the park I go to. Sometimes I join them… and it’s FUN!

I fell back in love with the sport and wanted to share what I collected this season. Can't wait to snag a few more deals on some used markers. Someday I will buy a brand new marker haha

I’m from the Johnson County area in Kansas. I’m geting back into paintball after like 7 yrs or so. I just picked up a Brand new Axe 2.0 with a Hopper (Bundle) I gota get a tank still but that’s all.

Does anyone know why PE stopped making soft goods? I started playing again and had a pair of pants that my age (and not the pants) have rendered unusable and I went to replace them and no luck.... I was also looking to get one of their bags and those seem to have disappeared too.

Everything PE makes was always such high quality, it seems a shame to lose them in that market.

So just curious why they changed course.

Hey guys. I got my impulse rebuilt with no leaks, and now it's time to get it tuned. I was tinkering with dwell and HPR pressure but it still seemed like it would take time to recharge to get a good shot (dry fire).

Any input on if this is normal or not? Haven't ran paint through it yet.

I read these aren't really able to dry fire and tries with my hand over the breech and even with a barrel on and shoved a barrel cleaner in it to create back pressure and got the same result

Pulled out some classic JT wear to reff a local tournament.

It has been 24 years since I sold all my paintball gear and enlisted in the Marines. Back in the 1900's I played my ass off in both woodsball and speedball, but I never got the chance to play at Skirmish PA.

My Job requires me to request vacation a year in advance and I randomly took off July 9-12, 2027. Shortly after, my youtube feed showed me a video of ION 2026 and I said this is the year to get back into the sport.

Me and my buddies all agree to make ION 2027 our big event!

Most of us will be starting from scratch and I want to start acquiring gear over the next 6 months to avoid spending too much. Most of us will play 3 or 4 times before July to warm up as well.

We have booked an Airbnb for the weekend and I plan for all the basic necessitates like gallons of water, food and ice.

I recently purchased a Tippmann x7 Phenom and it came with a flatline barrel. Also bought a 14" rifled barrel as well.

Still need everything else and I was hoping that black friday would be a good time to save $ on some gear.

Considering the Empire E Flex mask and an HK 68ci 4500 tank. On the fence on a harness that wont kill my back or burn me up in the PA summer heat.

I am in no rush to buy gear and I am willing to wait for the best buy windows!

Overall, me and guys just want to have fun as a bunch of 45 year old dudes. Not looking to take it to seriously. Hell, I expect half of the guys to just use the rental gear.

I see that paintballs are on sale for prepurchase. Will 2 cases of paint be enough for the entire weekend? Is it worth the extra money for the premium balls at $75, or is the $65 standard good enough? Are the commemorative tshirts and gear worth prebuying as well?

Went paintballing again after some time being away and had a blast all over again. I forgot how fun it is to play as a team and compete. I’ve played with rentals all the way to full auto markers but never had my own.

Currently stuck between buying nice once or possibly a pre - owned dual set up due to liking to play woods ball, Rec ball and speed ball and to invite a friend to come who may not have their own.

They all seem so similar yet so different, I’m stuck in a. Rabbit 🕳️

Wanted to stay under 1k for just a a new marker or possibly 2 pre owned for around 1500 with gear.

Nova makes some wacky stuff and a lot of times you need to tinker with it. They have a limited run of these link . Which is the nova odin but as a pump, which can also become semi auto with a switch. They claim it also has a pneumatic trigger as well. I found their quality very hit or miss but it is a cool idea.

I picked up these white Dana bottoms for a steal and I’m not sure if I should go white ears/lens and a black strap or black lens/ears and a white strap. What’s everyone think?

Finished putting this one together, Ruby proflex, red chromatic lenses, white DV8 ears, DV8 lid and plugs, Aftermath TAO strap. 👍🏻

Thinking about picking up a method bolt for the idol but wanted to get some thoughts on how the shot quality is. Does the bolt really make the shot a lot softer and quieter? And is it comparable to other makers like a dsr pro or r5?
