Unnecessary features are always most fun! Ball pit!
Hello! I'm the developer behind Dark Roll 2. The game is a marble platformer inspired by soulslike genre, but for the ucpoming Steam Next Fest I am preparing someting special - a backrooms inspired bonus level with no real goal... One redditor's comment gave me idea to put in a ballpit, so I had to at least try to play around see how it would turn out... I can happily say I'm satisfied with the result! I specifically made the balls magically go back to the pool, so the fun is never ending!
This level along with the ball pit will be put into free demo of my game on monday as Steam Next Fest begins!

Reminds me of the game Bounce on Series 60 Nokia phones ages ago, looks so cool.

What a blast from the past, I remember getting finger cramps from repeating jumps due to those stupid spikes

Plenty of "ball games" were made over the years... Trying to make one that's memorable!

I feel like if I heard that in the backrooms down the hall it’d be terrifying, and I think seeing it would also be terrifying. Well done!

Try lowering the ball speed back to the pit.
There isn’t enough incline to warrant such a high rollback speed, and giving a little more time to see how many balls you can get out before they come back in is another satisfying aspect which would keep people there.
