Go Vols

Let’s give Bama a proper Neyland Third Saturday in October Experience and 60 minutes of our darn best because … WE DON’T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE WHOLE STATE OF ALABAMA

Is there anywhere in the Richmond area Vol fans meet up to watch games?

With the Third Saturday in October coming up, I thought it’d be cool to look back at the 2022 game. October 15, 2022, was a crazy day for college football, and I know a lot of people have stories from that night.

I want to hear where everyone was when it all went down. Were you at Neyland? Watching at home? At a bar with friends? What was your reaction to that final kick?

If you were there in person, share your experience. If you were watching somewhere else, tell us what that night was like for you. Pictures and videos are welcome, too.

Let’s hear the stories. Where were you when the Vols took down Bama? 🍊

SEC Student-Athlete Availability Report

#6 Alabama Crimson Tide at #14 Tennessee Volunteers

Alabama Crimson Tide

Summary:
Alabama's Friday night update brought major news along the offensive line, as starting center Racin Delgatty was officially downgraded from doubtful to out after suffering a knee injury against Georgia. Tight end Josh Ford was also added to the report as questionable, while outside linebacker Justin Hill held firm with his probable designation and remains on track to make his return to action. Delgatty becomes the seventh Crimson Tide contributor officially sidelined for the rivalry clash, forcing sophomore Mal Waldrep into the starting center role at Neyland Stadium.

Tennessee Volunteers

Summary:
Tennessee received significant positive news on Friday evening as true freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon was removed from the availability report entirely after dealing with a right shoulder injury. While redshirt freshman George MacIntyre remains slated to make his second straight start, Brandon is medically cleared and available to dress as the primary backup. The Volunteers now carry zero questionable designations into Saturday, with their report consisting solely of six long-term inactive players.

Reports update Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, with final game-day designations issued 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

Anyone have any experience parking and walking and/or taking the shuttle from here?

Was planning on trying to park at University commons for the game tomorrow. It’s been several years since I have but does anyone know if they take card or should I bring cash?

Welcome to this week's /r/ockytop Free Talk Friday Thread! Feel free to share anything that's going on in your life.

Or is game day parking even allowed?

Extremely rough first look. We looked totally overmatched inside by Xavier. Strange roster construction to completely punt on the big position.

Still, just a preseason game but we looked overmatched inside by Xavier which seems foreboding.

Really weird to pin your center hopes on a big who may not even be eligible: just strange given Barnes track record of loving size.

Personally I think Terrence Hill did good but there is a lot of basic stuff that need to be fixed

But this time also kinda looks like what it's advertised.....a bunch of players transfering in trying to get chemistry with each other

Give it time no need to trip yet

Tipoff: 7:00

Alabama's Thursday report brought a negative shift along the offensive front, where center Racin Delgatty was downgraded from questionable to doubtful. The Crimson Tide continue to have six players officially ruled out, significantly impacting depth in the secondary and front seven. Linebacker Justin Hill remains listed as probable, providing a likely reinforcement for Kalen DeBoer's defense in Knoxville.

Tennessee Volunteers

Summary:
Tennessee's availability list held completely unchanged on Thursday, carrying six players ruled out due to long-term injuries. Quarterback Faizon Brandon remains designated as questionable as he works through a lingering shoulder ailment, though redshirt freshman George MacIntyre is widely expected to make his second straight start.
