This is totally free of cost and I'm not promoting anything at all. Just need your prayers!

NET-I registrations are open and I'm sure lots of people are worried that they can't memorize their formulas. I have the solution that I myself used.

A few months ago I was in the same shoes as all of you, and I think it's only fair to contribute to this community and help others clear their NET. So I made a flashcard deck specifically for NET Maths that contains 200+ formulas and facts/MCQs gathered from past papers to help you memorize your formulas.

The app that I made this deck on is known as Anki (AnkiWeb/AnkiDroid).

What is Anki? A free, open-source flashcard app that uses spaced repetition and active recall to analyze your memory patterns and make you memorize your formulas with 90-95% retention rates.

Instead of reviewing flashcards at random, Anki’s algorithm tracks how well you know each card and schedules it for review right before you're about to forget it which saves study time and strengthens memory.

Basically, the algorithm is designed to naturally make you memorize all your formulas without any extra effort from your side.

Here's the link to the deck I made: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1732619832

Download the Anki app from here: https://apps.ankiweb.net/

Simply download the deck and open it if you're using the desktop version of Anki, or import it to your decks if you're using the mobile AnkiDroid app (many tutorials online on how to import a deck).

I'll be posting this again when NET-II/III/IV registrations open, do lmk if you want a similar deck for Physics! Good luck.

P.S. Do upvote so this can reach and help as many people!

Salam,

I’m reaching out in deep distress and with a heavy heart, as I don’t know where else to turn. I am currently in my last year at Nust, studying on a scholarship that covers my tuition, for which I’m truly grateful.

Since the sixth semester, I’ve been unable to pay my hostel dues. My father is disable and unable to work. My family is living hand to mouth, with the only income coming from my sister who is a teacher. She is supporting the family and completely spending all she can earns.

I teach tuitions but it can only help me with managing my mess bill and pocket money. Because of no income and no means to pay hostel dues it keeps on adding up and now have been raised to 105k which is simply impossible for us to arrange.

Now, my university has warned me that if I do not pay the dues I won't be allowed to sit in mid terms and will be suspended. I’ve reached out to the Financial Aid Office (FAO) and NCS, but they have told me that I’m already on a scholarship, and they can’t assist me further.

This amount is huge obstacle for us given our circumstances. My family cannot afford it, and I’ve even asked them for help, but they’ve told me to leave my education because they simply don’t have the means to support me anymore.

I’m terrified mids are in a week and I have tried everything still that I may lose the chance to complete my education Please if anyone knows any NGOs aur any institute please guide me or make my contact with them.

Even FAST,BAHRIA and PIEAS also Riphah is covered 😭

Hi everyone,

I just finished my A-Levels with 3 B’s and I’m currently on a gap year. I’m taking the SAT in December, but I also want to target NUST through NET alongside it. Since I have the time this year, I think I can manage preparing for both.

My main concern is that NET is based on the FSc syllabus, and as an A-Level student there are gaps in my background. Some topics are covered differently or not at all in A-Levels, so I need something that teaches the concepts from the ground up, not just practice questions.

What I’m looking for:

• One reputable online academy or course (not a long list, just the one you’d honestly recommend)
• Full, in-depth coverage of the FSc topics tested in NET
• Plenty of practice material: MCQs, past papers, mock tests
• Ideally something that works well for A-Level students filling in FSc gaps
• One good book for NET prep, if you have a recommendation

If you were an A-Level student who cleared NET, I’d especially love to hear what worked for you and how you handled the syllabus differences.

Thanks in advance!

Are students from other departments like seecs also being taught irrelevant courses in their first semester ? Like why is a chemistry student being taught chinese 😐 or a math student being forced to study a completely irrelevant course like applied chemistry ,

I'm hoping to connect with people who either know someone or they themselves get internships in good labs within nust , or ncai So what is the procedure like and requirements ? And how do I connect with people who are applying for similar rules (I am a nust student)

ANYWAYS SO EVERYONE USUALLY TALKS ABOUT HOW NET DERIVES QUESTIONS FROM PTB BOOKS , WELL RECENTLY I HAVE BEEN HEARING THAT Qs ORIGINATE FROM FBISE BOOKS ASW (old ver./2024 ones) so PLEASE LMK WHERE SHOULD I LEARN FROM 🥀

SECONDLY are oept books really that helpful and should i get the applied sciences one ?I would greatly appreciate it if you could share any resources that you have found particularly helpful

And lastly if any senior or someone who attempted net 2026 would like to help me out kindly :/ , Which subject "areas" should I prioritize? (esp biology) would be great!

Dms are open if you have any tips to share.

thankyou🫶🏿

How much time does it realistically take for o alevel student to complete and master net syllabus if the goal is around a 160 score?

Where do yall charge your scooters? Hostel management isnt letting me charge it in hostel. Where else can i charge it💔

hi guys I'm planning to apply to nust soon and I just registered for the NET1 and I need any recommendations on what I should prepare for the maths, physics and English part of the NET for the 2027 intake all advice is appreciated tysmm

I need success stories because I am solely giving NET-1 as a practice run and my true target is NET 2. I am on a potentially second gap year because I was an MDCAT student and my last exam was October 4th. I joined the physikomatics batch like yesterday and wanna just focus on the present content I don't think I would fare well opening A level math for reference because I haven't done that shit in a year. Everyone says NET gets harder each attempt like what is that about ?!

I'm hoping to connect with people who either know someone or they themselves get internships in good labs within nust , or ncai So what is the procedure like and requirements ? And how do I connect with people who are applying for similar rules (I am a nust student)

is it normal to feel so burnt out as a freshie? i dont feel like studying eventho mids are right around the corner. everyone is locking in while i keep procrastinating and dont have the will to study at all. this sure as hell is not the uni experience i was so hyped up abt

I have no idea and I want to score a seat at lums with scholarship.

I have 97% in matric, 92% in fsc and 94% in first year. I want to get into business school. I have community work with Rotary to be included in my personal statement.. I also run an online account for posting my photography and am a writer as well.

Hi everyone! I’m an Industrial Design student from SADA researching crochet and how to make it comfortable and efficient for people. I'd really appreciate if you could take out a few minutes to fill in this survey!

Hey everyone

I’ve been building a project called Album of Us

The idea came from something pretty simple: couples take hundreds of photos and create countless little memories, but most of them eventually get lost in a camera roll.

I wanted to create something that turns those memories into a beautiful, interactive experience that couples can revisit and cherish.

With Album of Us, you add your names, relationship story, memories, and photos to create a personalized album featuring:

• Story tracks inspired by your relationship

• Photos connected to your favorite memories

• A timeline of your relationship

• Interactive vinyl-style album elements

• Different visual themes to match your style

• A cinematic, immersive album experience

• A shareable album you can send directly to your partner

The goal is to make it feel less like browsing a website and more like opening a special album filled with the moments that make your relationship unique.

I’ve put a lot of thought into the experience, and now I’d love to hear from people experiencing it for the first time.

A few things I’d especially like to know:

1. Does the concept make sense immediately?

2. Does the finished album feel personal and meaningful?

3. Which feature stands out to you the most?

4. Would you send something like this to your partner as a gift?

5. What would you change, improve, or add?

It’s currently free while I continue improving the experience.

I’d genuinely appreciate honest feedback and constructive criticism. Every suggestion helps me make Album of Us better.

Aoa fbise books got changed two years ago and they are quite different from last ones , my question is since some of the topics are not included in the new curriculum .will they also be excluded from NET or do i have to prepare those topics from old books , (the last year NET was not an issue since only fbise books were changed so it was evident that you have to prepare excluded topics from old books but now each board has changed it curriculum so kindly advice) Thank You.
