Showcase I built a Notion integration that turns a spoken process into a Mermaid diagram on a Notion page

Post image
1 Upvotes

I made Wavelength. You talk through a process, or paste a call transcript, and it draws the flow while you speak. Then you save the flow to a Notion page that you pick.

What the Notion page gets:

- A link back to the live flow

- A short summary

- Open questions to confirm

- The diagram as Mermaid code, so Notion renders it and you can edit it as text

Wavelength sees only the pages you share when you connect. The free plan has 5 flows.

Integration page: wavelengthflow.com/integrations/notion

Demo, no signup: wavelengthflow.com/demo

I am a solo founder and this integration is new. What would make the Notion page more useful for you?

I created Designer Pro v1.0, a Notion workspace built specifically for freelance graphic, logo, and brand designers.

It helps you organize your design workflow in one place, from starting a project to revisions and final delivery.

What's included:

  • Client and project management
  • Task tracking and upcoming deadlines
  • Revision rounds and approvals
  • Deliverables and project handoff

I wanted to create a workspace that feels professional and practical without being unnecessarily complicated.

🛒 This is a paid template. You can find it here:

I'd appreciate your feedback! Is there anything you would improve or add to make the workflow more useful for freelance designers?

Free Template Free Minimalist Habit Tracker: I built this strictly automated dashboard for Dark Mode because everything else felt too complex.

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

Every habit tracker I tried felt like a second job—too much manual entry and features I didn't need.

So, I built a distraction-free dashboard specifically for Dark Mode. I set it up to be as automated and easy to use as possible. You just focus on ticking off daily tasks and seeing your weekly progress at a glance without any friction.

It finally helped me get my chaos under control, so I’m sharing it. I'll drop the link in the comments below!

Paid Template I turned my scattered to-do lists into one "Life Score" system in Notion — sharing it in case it helps someone else

For the longest time I had my tasks in one app, habits in another, and goals just floating in my head. Nothing ever felt connected, so I never had a real sense of whether I was actually doing okay or not.

So I built a single Notion system called LifeOS. The core idea is simple: instead of just checking off tasks, everything (tasks, habits, goals, finance) rolls up into one "Life Score" out of 100 — like a weekly report card for your life.

A few things in it:

- A setup wizard that adapts the system depending on whether you're a student, freelancer, or working professional

- Habit tracker, task manager, goals tracker, finance tracker, and a journal — all linked together

- A weekly reflection page to actually sit down and review how the week went

- 50 habit ideas + a short goal-setting guide included as bonuses

Quick honesty check: the score is manual-entry (you update it weekly, takes like 2 minutes) — not some automatic formula. I kept it that way on purpose so it stays simple and doesn't break on mobile.

It's a paid template, link is in my profile if anyone wants to check it out. Mostly just sharing because building this actually helped me get my own stuff together, and figured it might help someone else here too.

Happy to answer any questions about how it works.

Paid Template I kept rebuilding my Notion setup instead of using it, so I built a second brain that’s finished on purpose

Post image
2 Upvotes

I have a habit of perfecting things past the point they need it, and Notion templates were the worst for it. Every one I downloaded went the same way. It looked great in the preview. Then I’d open it, spend a week customizing it, and never use it for the thing I downloaded it for.

Turns out that’s a very common loop. For a lot of people with ADHD the rebuild is the fun part. For perfectionists it’s never quite right, so you keep tuning. Either way, the system becomes the project.

So I built Strata, a second brain that’s finished on purpose. Here are the design decisions behind it, in case they’re useful even if you never buy it:

  • One page runs the day. The Daily view shows what’s due and asks for your Top 3. Put more than 5 to 7 things on today and it tells you you’re overloading the day.
  • Capture has zero rules. The Inbox takes anything. You don’t pick a project or tag in the moment. You sort it later, during a review.
  • No streak guilt. Habits show as a heatmap of what you did, not a counter that resets to zero when you miss a day.
  • The structure is already done. Tasks roll up to projects, projects to goals, goals to areas. Progress bars update on their own. Projects get ICE scores and review reminders, tasks land in a priority matrix. You never have to touch any of it to benefit from it.
  • Phone layout. A one-handed mobile view for capturing on the go.

It runs on the free Notion plan, comes with a setup guide and 50 custom icons, and it’s a one-time $50 (launch price until Nov 15). No subscription.

There’s a live preview on the page so you can click around before deciding: https://eascend.co/go/strata-rd-notioncreations

Happy to answer anything about how the formulas or rollups work. I spent far too long getting the habit heatmap to line up, and I’ll gladly explain it.

IELTS Prep Hub PRO: a complete Notion system for students aiming at Band 8+

IELTS students stall for the same reasons: random study, essays that never get a reliable score, the same mistakes repeating, and no structure for speaking or vocabulary.

This is a paid Notion system built to remove those problems.

  • 📅 Daily Skills Tracker: four 30-minute skill sessions with live progress bars, completion %, and streak tracking.
  • ✍️ Writing Auto-Examiner: score each essay on the 4 official criteria. Overall band, rank, XP, and your weakest link are calculated automatically with formulas, plus band growth and an error radar.
  • 🗣️ Speaking Log: 170+ prompts across Parts 1, 2, and 3, practice and confidence tracking, Band 8 sample answers, and useful language.
  • 📚 Vocabulary Bank: 200+ pre-filled words by IELTS topic, with meanings, collocations, and examples.
  • 🗓️ Weekly Progress Review + Exam Day Checklist: a structured feedback loop and a clear plan for the final days.

Everything is pre-built and ready to use: no setup, no templates to design, just duplicate it and start studying. It runs entirely on native Notion databases, formulas, and relations, with no plugins.

🆓 Start with the free edition: IELTS Prep Hub (Free Edition) is a full workspace for all 4 skills, with no scattered notebooks and no endless Googling:

  • Expert guides for Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking (question types, common traps, time plans, phrase banks, weekly routines)
  • Links to free official practice sources (IELTS.org, IDP, British Council, BBC, TED and more)
  • Daily Habit Tracker, Writing Tasks Log, Foundation Vocabulary Bank, Exam Day Checklist and Core Resources Hub

It has been downloaded 1,400+ times on the Notion Marketplace and is rated 4.6/5:

Paid Template Project Management OS: clarity without the clutter

Post image
2 Upvotes

I built a Notion setup to help you organize your projects efficiently.

Most project trackers I tried were either too bare or so packed with features I stopped opening them. So I made Project Management OS, which is a template that stays clean on the surface and does the heavy lifting underneath as it has a backend.

The dashboard is a Kanban board that updates on their own, and a 'Today' view so you know what to do first.

It works well for anyone who wants clarity without the clutter.

Check it out here: https://cipherzxi.gumroad.com/l/pm-os

Showcase I built myself a task manager that uses Notion as its database. Would anyone use this?

Thumbnail

I do freelance web design work and have been using Notion as a project manager. Projects have increased a little and I found that Notion is a bit clunky to use for the purposes I needed it for (too many clicks or "forced organization"). So I built myself a tool that integrates with 3 databases in Notion.

I can manage clients, projects and tasks and the appropriate databases in Notion are updated. Updating in Notion will also sync the projects to this tool. Since the databases live in Notion, I can also pull info via a database view and display any specific info as usual.

There's a small bit of setup, but I find it to be faster and easier to use than what I previously had in Notion, and I think it could be useful for others.

Would anybody be interested in using something like this? I'd like to try and gauge a reaction before possibly building it into a downloadable app.

Showcase I made a free extension that saves articles to Notion with your highlights at the top

I kept saving articles to Notion and never finding the part I actually cared about. So I built Clipwise.

You highlight lines while you read, click once, and the article lands in your Notion database: full text, source and date filled in, and your highlights at the top of the page.

- Free, no account, nothing goes through a server

- Works with any database, or start with a free template (reading list, job tracker, link library, travel planner)

- Keyboard shortcut if you don't want to click

Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/fjgllpbhbnjdkhgmokagglhkahngmjki

I'm 16 and this is my first real product, so honest feedback is very welcome. What would make you actually use something like this?

Paid Template the 3 database client tracker i ended up with after overbuilding one (freelance setup)

my first freelance crm in notion had like 25 properties and i stopped updating it after two weeks. this is the stripped down version that actually stuck, in case it helps anyone setting one up.

3 databases, all related to each other:

  • clients: name, status, email, source (referral, cold, etc), next follow up (date)
  • projects: name, relation to client, status, quoted amount (number), due date
  • touchpoints: date, relation to client, type (call, email, meeting), one line note

status on clients uses the status property with just: lead, talking, active, past. i tried 7 stages before and it was pointless, i never knew if something was "proposal sent" or "negotiating".

the views that do the actual work:

  • clients board grouped by status. drag cards when things change, thats it
  • a "follow up" table view filtered to next follow up is on or before today. this is the one i open every morning
  • projects table filtered to status is not done, sorted by due date

rollup on clients pulling the sum of quoted amount from related projects. gives you a rough "how much has this client been worth" number without a separate finance setup. (example only, if you track invoices separately just roll up from that instead)

the habit part: every time i send an email or have a call i add a touchpoint and bump the next follow up date. takes 20 seconds. if i skip that step the whole thing rots, so i keep a touchpoint button/template ready with the date prefilled.

things i cut that i dont miss: lead score, tags for industry, separate contacts db for companies with multiple people (just put them in the note until it actually becomes a problem).

if you'd rather not build it yourself, i made a fuller version with a pipeline board, follow-up view and activity log (english + spanish): https://suansupply.com/tools/notion-crm-template/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=notioncreations . it's paid, the setup above is free to copy by hand.

screenshot of the pipeline board + value by stage chart: https://suansupply.com/assets/img/tools/notion-crm-template-hero.jpg

curious what other freelancers here track that i'm missing. do you keep invoices in the same workspace or in a separate tool?

Question/Looking for Advice iOS shortcuts signs out/crashes notion app every time they run?

I’m trying to use the built in Notion functionality in iOS Shortcuts to create a page via a shortcut.

When I’m editing the shortcut I can select my workspace, account and database. So it can clearly talk to notion to pull that info to select from.

But then the moment I run the shortcut I get a pop up asking me to log in to notion and if I open then notion app I find it’s either crashed or been signed out.

I’ve uninstalled the notion app, rebooted and reinstalled it. But no change

Am on the latest iOS.

Any ideas? It’s driving me nuts.

Showcase I built a free extension that suggests icons for your Notion pages, feedback welcome

I shared this on r/Notion a few days ago and it was well received. Then I realized this sub exists, so I wanted to share it with you too.

I create a lot of Notion pages and picking an icon for each one became a bit of a chore.

So I built a tiny Chrome extension.

It adds a "Suggest icon" button next to "Add icon", reads the page title and offers 3 emojis.

It's free and works on Notion in the browser (not the desktop app).

I'd love to hear your feedback.

#buildinpublic 18 months of selling Notion templates: $1,016 total, a $221 best month, and everything I'd do differently

I started selling Notion templates in April 2025. I'm a student, I built this alongside university, and I've been tracking every number. Here's the honest picture, since most posts about this only show the highs.

The numbers (Apr 2025 to Sep 2026)

- Revenue: $1,016.38

- Gumroad sales: 310 (124 paid, 186 free)

- Free downloads on Notion Marketplace: 4,593

- Products: 15+ templates across 3 product lines

- Best month: $221 (January 2026)

- Last 3 months combined: $33

It's not life-changing money. But the data taught me more than the revenue did.

1. Two products did most of the work

HealthOS (including its Pro version) earned $562, which is 55% of everything. PolymathOS earned $255. All the other templates combined earned about $199.

I kept launching new templates because it felt productive. Going deeper on the two that already sold would have paid better.

2. Price was never the real problem

I raised prices and got no sales. I dropped prices and got no sales. One template went from $29.98 to $12.98 and back to $29.98, and the only thing that changed was how I felt about it.

If a template doesn't sell at any price, the issue is usually trust, positioning, or whether it's built for someone specific. A discount doesn't fix any of those.

3. A free template only works with a specific audience

My free medication tracker has a clear audience and got 245 downloads. It naturally leads people toward my paid health template.

I also made a free "business OS" with no specific target audience. It was basically a weaker copy of my paid template, given away. It cannibalized the product it was meant to promote, so I deleted it.

A free template should solve one small problem completely. It shouldn't be a stripped-down version of your paid one.

4. Don't depend on any single platform

- My main marketing channel got banned in October 2025.

- My X account was banned in August (it came back after a week).

- In July, a bank issue blocked all my paid payments for the whole month. Revenue: $0.

The one thing that survived all of it was my email list (247 people). If you're building on Notion, build somewhere you own too.

5. Burnout will cost you more than a bad algorithm

My two lowest months (Aug and Sep, $14 and $20) were a mix of a health problems and exams. Almost no output. I'm in therapy now and rebuilding slowly.

I'm sharing this because the "just post daily" advice ignores that you're one person with a life. Consistency matters, but you can't pour from an empty cup.

What I'm changing

- Fewer new launches, more improvement of what already sells

- Every free template gets one clear audience and one clear upgrade path

- Email over social for conversions

- Sharing what I learn instead of pitching constantly

If you're selling templates too, I'd love to hear what's working for you. What's your biggest stuck point right now: traffic, conversions, or knowing what to build next?

Happy to share more detail on any of this (funnel numbers, how I use free templates on the Marketplace, what I'd skip) if it's useful.

Paid Template I made a $5 Notion job-search workspace with daily actions and offer comparison

Post image
3 Upvotes

Disclosure: I made this template. Job Search Command Center is a paid Notion template, currently $5 USD as a one-time purchase.

Each opportunity keeps its company, stage, next action, action date and application documents together.

Today and overdue shows dated active work and excludes accepted, rejected and withdrawn opportunities. Separate views show interviews and offers. Offer comparison records annual base pay, currency, working arrangement and benefits/tradeoffs; it does not convert currencies.

It includes a fictional example, setup instructions, interview-preparation prompts, a follow-up draft and a weekly reset checklist. A Notion account is required; no paid AI subscription is needed. You submit applications and send messages yourself.

Product details: https://teaton8.gumroad.com/l/wwjohf

Feedback on the workflow is welcome, especially whether the next-action queue is clear.
