Does anyone know what is causing the contant drilling or generator sounding noise that is going on all day during weekdays near Central Lonsdale?

I am at 10th Street and it sounds like a drill, a pressure washer or a generator of some sort that has been going on for months (maybe started in August 2026) and it is all day long, with maybe several 1-5 minute breaks throughout the day.

I'm just curious what it is (and when it will stop), been living with earplugs in lately as I work from home. Not necessarily making a complaint (of course, it is irritating) but I'm more curious what is causing it/where it's coming from.

Any insight is appreciated!

That stretch of road between main and Oxford has been unfinished for at least three weeks now. Anyone know who we can complain to? I'm getting pretty tired of driving over that again and again.

I saw a food delivery driver almost run over a guy out for a run today. The runner had to bang on the hood as the driver turned right onto 27th while looking left. It was close!

School season is coming and drivers are going to be in a rush, the light will fade, and rains are coming. Assume most drivers cannot see you and have your head on a swivel. Tell your kids to be extra vigilant and if you drive, take your time and slow down.

Municipal elections are coming and it would be good to see community safety promises made by candidates.
