What if Shinsuke Nakamura never left NJPW?
Shinsuke Nakamura was one of the top names in New Japan and had a great career but he would end up in WWE in 2016. While his career in the west is something to discuss on another day it leads to the question of Shinsuke never leaving for WWE. Would he be heavyweight champion more times? What happens to CHAOS? Where would he be right now? What do y'all think?

Non-English Media Fuminori Abe & Yuto-Ice to be featured in ShuPro’s upcoming issue:
Two talk about forming a connection in Germany, according to X.
It does make a lot of sense that these two would gravitate towards each other, given both seem to have an affinity for “Shoot Style” and “Bati Bati”, to an extent (in Abe’s case, he’s a disciple of BattlARTS).
In a perfect world, we’d get KOB vs Astronauts (hope Takuya Nomura is doing well, wherever he is).

What's the best way to watch NJPWWorld on my TV nowadays?
After a long hiatus I'm planning on getting back into watching more NJPW on a regular basis starting from the best matches of the G1 and any other notable moments/matches from this year. Before, I used to simply stream from the app to my TV via Chromecast but I no longer have the device (can't remember why), and apparently Google has stopped manufacturing them in favor of a more expensive streaming dongle. I want to save money so are there any other solid alternatives that won't cost me a few hundred dollars?

Partners: AEW/ROH FTR in WTL
With World Tag League coming very soon, some fans are already speculating on the teams. The one team that some fans are hoping to see enter WTL is FTR. FTR have recently expressed interest in taking part in the tournament, and as a fan, I love to see them compete. A possible match between them and the KO Brothers would be awesome. Even if they don't win the tournament, it will stil be amazing to see them compete in a NJPW ring again.
But what do you all think? Should FTR enter this year's tournament?

New NJPW fan coming from AEW. Where should I start before Wrestle Kingdom?
I am a newish AEW fan. Having watched intermittently over the past two years but recently have became full time choosing this over WWE.
This has opened my eyes to another side of professional wrestling and I am really starting to appreciate wrestling in a way I probably didn’t understand throughout my time watching since the late 90s as a child.
I subscribed a couple of years back to the NJPW World service but having mostly just known WWE I really didn’t know how to consume the product or how it all linked together. Recently I have started really appreciating wrestlers such as Okada, Takeshita, Omega etc. And have been watching old clips and realising there is a huge history or exciting wrestling in Japan I can personally appreciate.
But I want to be in the loop for the upcoming, what appears to be crossover at Wrestle Kingdom between the companies.
I gather that it’s not weekly and it’s periodic shows, does anyone have any advice?

Question for people who have attended Wrestle Kingdom
Very fortunate to be attending WK21. I purchased 2nd row seats via buysumotickets.
Just wanted to ask what the general vibe is like for WK and to be a foreigner sitting so close with who I presume will mostly be domestic fans! I am attending alone as my girlfriend doesn’t care for wrestling, but I have done so several times in New York here as well so that’s no big deal, albeit a little intimidating in a foreign country.
Any known events or meet and greets in the area ahead of WK itself? I know there’s the party on the 2nd which could be cool, considering that for sure.
Also is anyone else going from abroad?

Just realized that Konosuke Takeshita has some striking similarities to a young Yoshihiro Takayama
First it was being two particularly tall Japanese guys. Then it was an affinity for big knee strikes and bigger German suplexes. Now seeing old UWF footage of a dark haired Takayama before his face got plastic surgery courtesy of Don Frye and I'm thinking "Takeshita is the splitting image of Takayama."
Am I the only one seeing this or do you see it too?

Super Jr. Tag League trophies renewed for 2026!
Super Jr. tag League gets underway on Saturday October 24 in Saitama. 12 teams will be vying for the prestigious trophies to be won at the finals November 3 in Hiroshima Sun Plaza Hall at Power Struggle. This year the competition will be even fiercer as brand new trophies will be up for grabs.
The double helixed design of the trophies represents the boundless possibilities of a tandem in sync, while also adding verticality and through the feather textured film, speed and flight of the junior heavyweight division. Who will be the ones taking home these new prizes? Find out in person at the venues, or live in English on NJPW World!
