What would you think about a potential Mountain Division in the NBA (Phoenix, Utah, Denver, and Las Vegas)?

If the NBA expands to Seattle and Las Vegas, it will become the first of the Big Four leagues to include the four largest metropolitan areas in the Mountain States (Phoenix, Denver, Las Vegas, and Salt Lake City). What are your thoughts on a hypothetical division (if the NBA decides to realign into 8 divisions of 4 teams) consisting of the Phoenix Suns, Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets, and a new team in Las Vegas?

Would games between intra-Rockies franchises create strong rivalries and excitement among these fanbases? Would the Phoenix Suns be satisfied with these new division rivals, or would they prefer their current California rivals? Would a team in Las Vegas prefer Interior West rivals or California teams—similar to how the Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL are in the same division with Anaheim, Los Angeles, and San Jose, rather than Utah and Colorado? Is there a strong Rocky Mountain or Interior West regional identity, or would teams not really connect with it?
