Full speed push from behind in a preseason game? Yeah, Hali's right.

Yea thats fair, cant Blame Hali for that reaction. It kinda reminds me of Jokic trucking one of the Morris brothers
254
u/YKG1998 Knicks 5h ago
So these teams still hate each other
82
u/SiphenPrax Knicks 5h ago
Definitely Pacers’ fans most hated team besides us and the Pistons
71
u/putalittlepooponit Pacers 5h ago
I actually don't hate the pistons that much tbh. Bucks and yall are my main enemies
3
u/GlizzyGone21 Bucks 2h ago
Idk why tbh, y'all beat us
•
u/Transky13 Pacers 15m ago
Respectfully, it’s because a lot (not all!) of your fans are douchebags and a lot of your players started weird ass beef with us in recent years
6
u/SiphenPrax Knicks 5h ago
Really? Even after Malice and them winning the title? That’s surprising since I remember the Pacers and Pistons fanbases loathing each other back then.
42
u/putalittlepooponit Pacers 5h ago
In retrospect malice was too big and interesting of an event to really give me a long term grudge. It's like a historical event more than a rivalry igniter for me. The turner fiasco tho....
4
u/ruckyruciano Knicks 5h ago
I was telling these teenagers about it and they seemed to eat it up, especially after actually showing them what happened... Fun fact: that same day we were in Ron's old car that he must've driven back in Indiana
2
u/SiphenPrax Knicks 5h ago
Ahh gotcha
1
u/SpringNeverFarBehind Pacers 1h ago
Yeah Bucks and Knicks are the two I actively root against. As a Pacers fan in their 20s, I don’t have any beef with the Pistons. Was actually glad to see how well they did last year after their abysmal year before. Maybe times have changed.
21
u/Suspicious-Gur6127 Pacers 5h ago
For better and worse, Malice is history mostly at this point. Pacers and Pistons just haven’t played enough recently to hate each other enough. That could change this season.
16
u/GumbySquad 5h ago
Pacers vs Bucks and vs Knicks on the other hand has been spicy the last 3-4 years
5
u/adamcmorrison Pacers 4h ago
Man even I was watching malice live and I’m over it. It ain’t the same teams anymore.
5
u/tyrozz079 Pacers 5h ago
Can't speak for the above guy, but for older Pacer fans the Pistons are definitely in that trio.
5
u/bartspoon Pacers 5h ago
The Malice was big, but it is nearly a quarter of a century old at this point, and there hasn’t been a ton since then to keep the anger burning. If we meet them in the playoffs or something, it could get back to the way it was.
2
u/monkeybiziu Pacers 4h ago
I still fucking hate the Pistons. Like, if I'm hate watching teams, it's 1) Pistons, 2) Knicks, 3) Celtics, 4) Heat, 5) OKC.
8
u/Grimlock0NE 5h ago
At least the hate is mutual between us and the Knicks. I feel also a level of respect to in the rivalry.
6
u/SiphenPrax Knicks 5h ago edited 4h ago
Really helps that Brunson and Haliburton are this generation’s Ewing and Miller. If Hali wins a title right after Brunson does it only solidifies the rivalry’s legacy and lord knows many years from now we’ll have a new Ewing/Brunson and Miller/Haliburton to carry forth the long-standing rivalry.
With all that said, I hope the Pacers don’t win a title and crash and burn😉

apparently it was for stuff less than $1k total too

Yeah he basically just did his weekly grocery shopping at target for two months and just didn’t pay. They only arrested him on the 7th trip 😂

Ryan Rollins wasn't on the Bucks 2 years ago?
Edit: Nevermind, I was dead wrong, he was for the back half of the year. I'd be impressed though if he left that much of an impression playing 30 minutes that entire playoff series.
11
u/djlee7979 Raptors 5h ago
sounds like it only took one play where he tried to trip Pascal? One plays enough to be remembered
12
u/Transky13 Pacers 5h ago
It was particularly awkward looking. I need to find the clip but I hate that dirty shit
3
u/bartspoon Pacers 5h ago
Sure they did! The league took the 2025-26 season off and none of it counted, remember?

People talking like Tyrese is the problem when Ryan is cheap shotting him in his third game back during a preseason game lol
How can you root for that?

u/Liimbo Heat 5h ago
Making a bid for least likable team early this year. Having woman beater KPJ on the roster bolsters that claim.
88
u/JSP07 [OKC] Russell Westbrook 5h ago
They're already going to be least watchable with Herro, Kuzma and KPJ fighting over who gets to stink it up the most. Might as well go for most hated too
48
u/JSP07 [OKC] Russell Westbrook 5h ago
I take this back actually, I quite like Herro because he's fully committed to the wigga bit which I enjoy because it's funny.
30
u/Meicer Pacers 4h ago
More than that, Herro is actually a good offensive basketball player..
14
u/DryAndH1gh 4h ago
He's highly skilled and fun to watch. He's slight and unathletic compared to other guards, has a negative wingspan, and yet he made an all-star team. It's wild how people talk about his play because he developed a tired yet hilariois habit of speaking in AAEV despite growing up in the burbs
During his tenure no one made miami fans pop in the arena like he did. Not bam, not jimmy

In a preseason game at that. Letting emotions get the best of you in the playoffs? Still a shit move, but at least understandable with the pressures.
This shit doesn't even count yet.

Weak technical. If a player purposely trucks someone it’s sort of the other players right to talk shit afterwards.
Or call a flagrant or a T on Rollins.
82
u/Area512X 5h ago
Meh, they let him say "you a bitch" for quite a while I'm not sure if they can keep letting him go lol

That looked pretty fucking dirty to me.
Can't stand the Pacers, and I find Haliburton incredibly annoying; really like the Bucks and think Rollins might be a breakout player this year - but not even I can defend this kinda shit.
And like 2 mins into a preseason game to a guy just coming back from injury? Haliburton is right on this one...
