picked up a couple tins of O&G at a local brick and mortar store while getting rolling tobacco! i’ve been on a cigar and more recently RYO and pipe tobacco kick, but i’ve been missing snuff and that first pinch in a few months was heaven!

This and other simply blends have now become ritualistic, every bump is a toast, a memory to a man I never met, but who lived rather close, and was even closer to my heart. RIP Simon, Im not religious but I hope your having a bump of JiP with the almighty.

I have had this Bernard Weisen since they shut down the operation so it's an original Bernard I have had for more than 1 year.

I only use it then and now since it's original but also it's so good I want to save it. Great smoky and menthol snuff. And it still feels fresh and really good. If I have a Ozona President it loses the menthol scent whitin a year.

I love me some menthol at work. Black coffe and snuff is such a good combination. I try not to overdo it but it's hard when it's so good. Gonna buy me some Gawith Original. Ay least I can buy Gawith Original, Gletscher prise and President in town but I cant wait until mr snuff or toque stocks it again.

I bought two of the same brand but different kinds and the one says .28 oz and this one has two stickers, .28 oz below and .31 oz on top. Why is that? Isn’t it illegal to mislabel things 😂

Just tried the Viking dark rappee, oh how nice is it to have a straightforward no nonsense smack in the snout snuff, no added flavours just course, slightly heavy, strong nic hit with almost earthy taste. Will definitely buy this one again.

Sometimes you go pretty hard. All those alkalizers aren't that great for your nose. Menthol? An irritant, when you get down to it.

Whenever my nose gets chapped, this stuff is a godsend. I just clean my nostril with a saline-dampened q-tip then smear on some of this stuff. Instant relief. After slowing down for a few days and keeping this stuff applied, my schnozz is back to tip-top shape. The package says it's safe to smear inside too, though I usually don't have to go that far.

Highly recommended. A tube lasts a while too. If you want to extend it, you can use some regular saline spray to re-wet the gel and give it some more staying power before your next application.

Well I tried the Bernard’s pollistion (heavy clove smell) and the Bernard’s gold (ammonia smell)…. didn’t like either, think I’ll stay with the original and fresco

Bernard - Schmalzlerfranzl Gold, for me, is a snuff with a medium grind, moisture content, and nicotine strength.

Besides the tobacco, there's definitely some dried fruit in the aroma; for me, it's probably raisins.

There's also a slightly chocolatey and leathery aroma.

Overall, 7.5/10 for me.

Normally i'm in english type snuffs, so i have to try.

My sinuses hadn't fully recovered, but my body was craving nicotine.

I chose Taxi Red.

The snuff is very coarsely ground, in my opinion even more so than Klostermischung.

The smell from the tin is pure ammonia, and the nose is similar, with a hint of cigarette tobacco occasionally appearing.

I don't know if the RED suffix is meant to refer to the strength, but in my opinion, this snuff doesn't contain much nicotine.

I would rate this snuff 6/10.

It's not bad, but I've tried many better ones.

I have some Silverdollar cola, but it's in chunks and not powder. Not sure if it's because of relative humidity or just how it comes, but I'd like to use it in my snuffer. If I use my spoon I can easily break the chunks apart, but it ends up with a chunky snuff.

For me its 9/11

Strong yet pleasant menthol and a pleasant smoked aroma and a tobacco base from Bernard.

Zweifacher has a medium nicotine strength and a pleasant, unobtrusive menthol with a fruity aftertaste. The fruit is supposed to be apricot, but I'm not 100% sure. I rate it lower than Postilon because I'm not a big fan of mint and menthol. 6.5/10

This is often a medium-strength snuff.

Beyond the classic Bernard tobacco base, you can detect milk chocolate and warming cinnamon.

I consider this snuff to be very tasty: 7.8/10.

Perlesreuter Smalzler by Pösch.

A very loose, yet moist snuff. The aroma is something like light leather and cereal coffee. The nicotine strength is very low.

How do people react to you doing snuff? I showed a co coworker, only because she asked if I vape/smoke. I said "no, But I just started this other thing. Its called snuff. But it's tobacco that you snort." She said "snuff like a snuff film?"

Then later she brings it up with a different coworker, "Hey, SonnyPiston does this thing called snuff"

So I went ahead and showed her since somebody else already brought it up. I tapped out a little clump on my hand and explained to her that it is legal, it's just tobacco in a powdered form. And you snort it instead of smoking it.

Her reaction was so idiotic. She literally said "I ain't never heard of no cigarettes you stick up your nose!"

Who the fuck said anything about cigarettes, I literally showed her the actual tobacco, in it's ground up form. I explained the process.

She could have said "tobacco is unhealthy" or something like that and I wouldn't have remembered. But, "cigarettes you stick up your nose"

A local b&m of mine has one of the most impressive snuff selections in the nation. Had to pick up a few dispensers of the goat.

Slightly chemical, but very tasty snuff.
