Hi this is my second MUN but I still have no idea how it works and what makes a position paper good, so please provide constructive criticism of my position paper if you can! Its due for submission in two hours. Anything would be great help. Thank you!

fellow delegates have you ever had an annoying costa cuck in your comittee? try having to deal with one every day. i have this super fake bitch lets call her ego(from blue lock) and shes not in my class but ive been by her at a few debates and her ego is bigger than the amount of followers i have on instagram (i have a lot). she acts so fake one moment she’ll be hugging you and the next she’ll be laughing at you for stuttering in you speech. literally nobody likes her and i guess shes good shes just a way to cocky and way too confident and i just know her diplomacy score sucks ass and someone needs to put her in her place no shade though

hey y'all!! im a senior and i started a model congress club at my school last year, we went to Harvard Model Congress last year! i got a HM for best delegate! Now this year we are adding a Model UN conference (MUNCH XXVII). I am participating as a delegate but am also leading my school's delegation, and I do a lot of the curriculum prep
im trying to build a conference prep plan for our delegation around 5 pillars:
I wanted to know if yall got any research tips, tips for writing position paper, tips on how to win best delegate (what do outstanding delegates do vs avg delegates), how to write an effective resolution, best things to do in committee, and any resources to look at! Thanks 😁

ok so this is pretty embarrassing because this is my second year in mun, but i typically do hybrids and have never successfully completed a crisis arc before. this year, im really trying to place at more conferences, so how do i complete a crisis arc/write crisis notes? for reference, i’ve tried before but have either gotten my requests denied or haven’t completed a full arc

Just got back from Edison MUN conference this weekend, and, oh my god, was it truly awful. And i mean truly. Chairs didn't seem to know how MUN worked (or work the monitor), other delegates were assholes, and the placing seemed SO targetted and biased. I don't think anyone other than Huntington dels won (I'm from SM if it matters). Some random from my committee ended up getting best, and me and my partner genuinely both did not know who they were. Definitely one of the worst run conferences I've ever been to. What a waste of a weekend.
Sorry for the rant, but any of y'all have similar experiences? I'm curious if it was just a me thing.

Just got accepted to be Deputy President in a THIMUN (NL) committee. Some people have been telling me it’s the most prestigious chairship in the world, others that it’s just a pay to play conference anyway. Thoughts?

Hey everyone!
I'm thinking of creating an Instagram group for people who are genuinely interested in geopolitics and international affairs.
The idea is to bring together people who enjoy discussing topics like global conflicts, international relations, foreign policy, world politics, and major developments around the world.
It would be a space to share opinions, exchange perspectives, have meaningful discussions, and learn from each other.
You don't need to be an expert — just have a genuine interest in geopolitics and be open to discussing different viewpoints.
If anyone is interested, comment below or DM me. If there's enough interest, we can create the group and add everyone!
Looking forward to connecting with fellow geopolitics enthusiasts.

Hey yll I live in Houston Texas and I want to get into mun but there are barely any mun conferences here (that I’ve found) so I’m reaching out to see if anyone has any recs on what I could do?Are there any online options? Also side question but does the could try I pick give me more or less chance of getting an award?
Hi! I applied to LIMUN as a delegate and was recently accepted. Before paying the fees, I’d like to confirm that the conference is legitimate and trustworthy and not a scam.
Has anyone here attended LIMUN before? If so, what was your experience like? This will be my first international MUN conference, and I’m still a beginner, so any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello, I am 15 (m) and it's gonna be my first MUN. But even though it's my first time, they gave me an intermediate level committee, it's COP31 and my country is Argentina. And also I don't know anything like they gave me an study guide for beginners but still I can't understand the committee's own study guide. Our teacher said they will help us for the MUN but it never happened (The teacher helped everyone but not me). I just wanna know what sources can I use? How can I study it. Because if I'm not wrong, there are 10 COPs main topic.
