Hi everyone! The MSU Mario Kart Club is trying to gauge some more interest for people to join the (very low-basically no barrier for entry) competitive Mario Kart World team!
We are currently D1 out of 8 Divisions in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and are playoff bound against ISU!

Signups for Mario Kart World close in about 2 weeks and we aren’t strong in that game as we are in 8 deluxe, you can join with basically no competitive experience! The games happen on sundays 8-9pm est and the last two weeks will be 8-10pm est, totaling a 4 week season with an extra 2 weeks if we make playoffs.

But! If you don’t wanna get stressed with all that competitive nonsense we hold casual club meetings involving MKWorld MK8DX and MKWii! Every other Friday from 6-8pm est in the comm arts building room 245! (We just a had a meeting this Friday on the 16th).

Hey yall, I’m a highschool senior looking to go to MSU for a political science degree (specifically politics, rights, and culture major. Is getting into JMC any harder than getting admitted to regular MSU? I’ve heard mixed things from people, so thought I’d ask actual students.

I am currently in thermo with Giles Brereton and honesty I am terrified for that class. The quizzes are so hard and I am genuinely scared if I will be even able to pass the damn class. I go to every lecture I go to the help room I study my ass off for every quiz and i'm still on path to barely pass that class. has anyone had a similar experiences with the class? I am genuinely debating If I should drop the class.

Incoming freshman this fall, am I able to choose my roommate at the James Madison College if my preferred roommate is also going there?

Just curious if anyone has a recent syllabus for this class to share or some insight on it.

The MSU Prevention Outreach and Education team invites members of our campus community to submit an original sticker design that reflects the spirit of It’s On Us, a national campaign focused on preventing sexual and relationship violence and building communities rooted in respect, care, and shared responsibility.

Selected designs will move forward to community voting during MSU’s It’s On Us Week of Action, and the winning design will be produced for use during the Spring 2027 Week of Action.

im a Michigan alum doing a doctoral program at msu now and I like the school/campus well enough! I’ve just noticed everyone ive spoken to has shared the same sentiment of being rejected from Michigan. genuinely just curious lol I know msu & Michigan are very culty 🤷

I recently went to a campus tour and saw the dental hygiene facilities. I feel like the units, Charly heads and the classroom were outdated. If it works for the pogram I guess but i sincerely wonder if people are happy with what they are provided. I still need to get my pre reqs for the pogram but i wish it was more updated. Wondering if theres any hygiene ​ students that could share their experience in the pogram.

You’ll be sharing the apartment with a female student who is clean and quiet.

Rent: $1,041/month, excluding utilities and Wi-Fi

• Fully furnished, with an in-unit washer and dryer.
• All kitchen appliances and the living room sofa were replaced with new ones in August 2026.
• Approximately a 2-minute walk to the MSU Business College.
• A 12–15-minute walk to the MSU Union, engineering buildings, STEM building, and library.

If you won’t be staying over the summer, you can find a subtenant for that period. The apartment offers relatively affordable rent and convenient access to campus and downtown. In my experience over the past two years, I’ve always been able to find a subtenant when needed.

Female tenants only. My roommate and I have agreed to generally limit male visitors. If an exception is necessary, it should be discussed and agreed upon in advance. Shared spaces, including the kitchen and living room, should always be kept clean.
