Mod Post Season 7 Spoiler Policy 🚨🤫 Spoiler

Post image
150 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

Our spoiler policy has been updated to reflect new guidelines in preparation for Season 7.

Given the... unique way this show airs, we are making one relatively major change to our spoiler policy in preparation for Season 7:

New policy: episodes will be under the spoiler policy for 2 weeks after their World Premiere.

  • Prior policy: episodes were under the spoiler policy until 2 weeks after their ENGLISH release.

Why are we making this change? Well, because during Season 6, episodes sometimes aired internationally several months before their English release. This resulted in many months where episodes were considered spoilers, despite the vast majority of the fandom having seen them already. As this show has been airing bizarrely for several years, we do not expect the schedule of release to suddenly get better, so we are better aligning the policy with how the majority of the fandom watches/engages with the show.

Questions? Feel free to comment below and we will address as we are able. You can always reach out to the mod team via modmail as well.

Have a Miraculous day! šŸžšŸˆā€ā¬›

Opinion/Rant I know this has been expressed so many times but I rewatched Malediktator and gdi I miss this Chloe

Up to this point in the series, we were all used to Chloe being THE typical selfish bully. But when she finally showed honesty and vulnerability, it was such a beautiful moment that I honestly just wanted to hug her. By the end of the episode she starts treating her butler better and shows genuine appreciation for Sabrina, really acknowledging her. Chloe still having to put up a front being a cold person adds on to it even more. (It's very 'tsundere' and I wish we have different personalities in the show because everyone in Marinette's social circle and superhero team are almost copypasted nice people).

Anyway, no one is born perfectly good.
Watching Chloe try to be better was wonderful because it reinforces a powerful message that no one is beyond saving.

I had a bully growing up and for years I hated them. But years later in adulthood, they actually reached out and apologized for what they did to me in school. I'm sure many people expressed a similar experience. Lots of people we're awful in their youth, but eventually matured and realize how much of an ass they were. This episode really reminded me of that.

It's just so heartbreaking that Thomas ultimately decided to push the opposite narrative... that people like Chloe are completely beyond saving, and that some people are simply born a bad person and will die a bad person. I know there's always outliers, but that message is just so sad for what is meant to be a kids show that pushes love, kindness, and understanding.
Perhaps if Thomas checked in on the person who inspired Chloe, maybe he’d be surprised to see how much they’ve changed too.

Speculation/Theories Were Tikki and Plagg once in love ?

Thumbnail

Okay, before the universe existed, two opposing forces were born: creation and destruction. These primordial forces were Tikki and Plagg, the kwamis who were born at the same time as the universe itself.

Before they met Earth, Tikki and Plagg had once been in love, but not in the human sense—more in a spiritual and primordial sense—which meant they shared such a powerful bond that it gave birth to their fusion, Gimmi, the Kwami of Reality.

But... why were the two Kwamis the exact opposite of good and evil / order and chaos / yin and yang—no longer love?

I'll explain: when Tikki and Plagg first encountered planet Earth, they were intrigued by the beauty of this planet and decided to visit. Well, they met the dinosaurs, but Plagg, to impress his sweetheart, destroyed the dinosaurs—which would explain why the dinosaurs went extinct. Tikki wasn't very pleased with Plagg's way of doing things, but she eventually forgave him. That same year, Plagg sank Atlantis, which caused Tikki to leave Plagg. But despite everything, Tikki and Plagg remain good friends despite their differences and their opposition. My theory is that the Kwamis could be in love, but not in the human sense, and maybe that would explain why Ladybug and Chat Noir fell in love—even though it was confirmed that the Kwamis cannot be in love, I had this possibility.

And what if, in the end, despite their separation, Tikki and Plagg had preserved a part of their former love through Gimmi, since creation and destruction are two opposing but inseparable forces that need each other to maintain the balance of reality ?

Discussion To what extent do you think the miraculous would be adaptable to people with disabilities?

Obviously we’ve seen lots of great strides in Mirwculous handling disabilities both physically and mental, especially in season six. They are able to explain certain things in a kid friendly way like Max’s autism.

But I’m wondering to what extent the miraculous could be used for certain disabilities.

Would it allow someone who’s paralyzed from waist down to suddenly walk? Or would we have a superhero swinging through the streets with a wheel chair? My friend is in a wheelchair and this is what she wants to see happen (it’s what sparked this conversation between us and wanted to hear others inputs)

How do you think someone with a missing limb would adapt? Like if Sublime was given a miraculous, I could see miraculous adapting around her prosthetics and strengthening them somehow so she could run without worry they may break.

But then there is a part of the conversation my friend and I couldn’t figure out. The miraculous heavily rely on trigger words for transformations and the use of their specific powers. What if someone was mute? I know we’ve seen powers be activated without the trigger word and the transformation has dropped as well. So maybe someone could do it mentally. It would certainly help a lot more for surprise attacks without the need of literally screaming out your attack before you use it on the akuma.

The last disability we could think of was if someone was blind. We were thinking the miraclous may give enhanced hearing or adapt to the need by giving some kind of power like Toph from Avatar the Last Airbender.

Like, of course it could take the easy way out of temporarily taking away the disabilities. Like Alya suddenly not needing glasses as Rena Rouge. But that would take away the whole point of diversity in the first place and showing that people with disabilities can adapt to situations very well.

Like I love how they addressed Max being able to adapt to life as a superhero despite it going against a rigid routine. It wasn’t the powers suddenly got rid of his autism. He just learned how to adapt to the situation and trust those around him. I wish they went into that more. And hope we see them branch out more in the future.

Discussion In your opinion, which Miraculous could be useful in real-life professions?

Here’s a random thought I had: I feel like the Cataclysm from the Cat Miraculous would be really useful for professions like demolition work.

I think I had a thought when I saw Cat Noir use his Cataclysm on the billboards in Glaciator 2.

And the other Miraculous could be used for jobs—like Fetch for babysitting, or perhaps Voyage for transportation.

Discussion What would have a Lilanette friendship looked like realistically+Lila making sense (my take )

Post image
• Upvotes

Summary : Lila still hates Ladybug but befriends Marinette to have more clout in the school and Marinette tries to help Lila discovering she's a victim of neglect but also countering her manipulations. In the end they end rivals. More details are : Lila making Marinette fight more with Kagami and Chloe, Marinette saying Lila can come to her everytime she feels lonely because of her absent parents, Lila pushing Lukanette to get rid of Marinette as a love rival more easily, Marinette being more bold and confident thanks to Lila, Lila getting close to Gab then discovering his identity thanks to the rings. Finally Lilanette breakup as Marinette cannot tolerate Lila's lies anymore and the reveal of Cerise.

First the point of divergence :

At the end of Volpina, Marinette catches up to Lila as she's about to leave the school to go to on a travel with her mother who's a diplomat and introduce herself as the class president and that she hopes to become friend with Lila when she comes back which Lila accepts we have a flashback on her side of the class praising Marinette except Chloe of course which means she's a valuable connection.

Season 2: goes the same or you can put the event I will put in Season 3 here it doesn't change much. I will change the finale by introducing the fact Lila is often home alone as her mom is a diplomate and an ambassador for different organizations which means she's rarely home and her husband is "missing". Lila is often left to the old lady nearby who doesn't really care about her as long as she sent her a text to tell she's alive.

Season 3: starts with a two parters about Lila. The first one is about her becoming popular with everyone but being slapped down by Chloe who reveals that whilst Lila does travel and meet celebrities it's not nearly as grandiose as she makes it out to be with a lot of lies blended to the truth she contacts a girl who was with Lila in one of the photo that tells her a lot of mean thing about her ( I admit it's a bit of a retcon for Chloe to have a "friend" overseas but she's just a fellow mean diamond so it still makes sense ) Chloe obviously being jealous about Lila copying up to Adrien. Lila gets angry and Hawkmoth sends an akuma but she turns the table with a pity party on Chloe who almost gets akumatized due to Adrian and her classmates reaction but resists until Adrian takes her glasses and smash them releasing the akuma. Another person gets akumatized and is defeated. Lila learns of Marinette crush on Adrian by spying on a convo between her and Alya and decide to exploit this to make her and Chloe tear each other apart.

In the second part she enact a plan to pimp Marinette for Adrian triggering Chloe jealousy and bullying before convincing Marinette to retaliate Marinette accepts at first but realize she's too mean to Chloe and refuse to deliver the final blow to Chloe's rep that would also make her look cruel and superficial to Adrian. Seeing her plan fail so close to completion get Lila akumatized into Cameleon and bully Chloe under a Marinette disguise after being revealed and deakumatized she unleash a sob story about her resentment and fear of Chloe and ask Marinette in tear to forgive her which she does.

In another episode we learn more about Lila, that when her first mother is away she goes to a second "mother" a rich blind Italian lady who lsot most of her family whom she speaks in her mother tongue with. She blindly trusts Lila who unleash terrifying emotional manipulation for a 14yrs old, officially she works part time for the lady but she treats her like a daughter and thinks she's an illegal immigrant who lost her family and helps her. In that episode Marinette learns about how neglectful is Lila first set of parents as the lady who supposed to take care of her doesn't know where Lila is when Lila pretended to be sick to skip school triggering Miss Bustier to send Marinette with her homework. Marinette doesn't learn about Lila second mom but threatens to tell everything to the Lila's first mother triggering the old lady into getting akumatized to capture Lila. Marinette tells Lila she can come see her and her parents anytime if she feels lonely as Lila doesn't want her home situation to be known by the rest of her classmates. The ending I would leave voluntarily ambiguous does Lila really is grateful to Marinette or is she just earning pity points ? A bit of both I would say. Finally a last epsidoe where she helps Marinette beef with Kagami before their friendships blossoms in Ikari Gozen. She also clearly pushes in some episode Lukanette as a way to get rid of her rival without having to go through the trouble of breaking her friendship or pushing Marinetre to be evil to hinder her chances with Adrian

Lila is some season 3 other episode as a part of Marinette friend group sometimes countering sometimes helping an akumatization.

Season 4: same as season 3 but she has a hand in Adrigami breakup, tries to salvage Lukanette gets closer to Gabriel and Hawkmoth even going as far as to exploit her friendship with Marinette to get a mass akumatization under the guise of being threatened by a villain to do so before Lilanette comes to an end as Marinette discovers it's a lie and expose her with Lila in that Ladybug like episode having to choose between friendship and revenge and choosing the latter + cerise reveal.

Season 5 : she discovers who Hawkmoth is thanks to noticing the correlation between the number of rings and miraculous powers and getting herself akumatized to test it out recording everything on camera. She also use her power to get Miss tsurugi and Nathalie to tell her the truth. She steals Tusrugi tech at this time too by having Miss Tsurugi tell her the passwords and we see her come up with plans to steal the mirsculouses .

Discussion Does this make sense? Season 7 Teaser spoilers Spoiler

So, we know Marinette will lose her memories and give up her guardianship to Alya, but what confuses me is exactly that.

I could be wrong but let me know your thoughts.

How does doing this help Marinette out? At first, she might still be Ladybug for a while before all of it during the latest teaser of her telling the team to know who are behind the masks.

Also, if Lila is on her tail still in Replay Value, that would just confirm to her Marinette was Ladybug because it will be suspicious for Marinette to have the fox miraculous and Alya have the Ladybug miraculous no? Unless Lila goes to Adrien and tells him the truth and starts focusing on him to divide Ladybug and Cat Noir leading into the Adrinette breakup and into the Miraculous Civil War.

Opinion/Rant I hope Aglae isn't Lila

Aglae is such a refreshing new character for the cast. Turning her into another one of Lila’s disposable wigs means the show sacrificed an interesting and complex civilian character just to give Lila another disguise.

I'm serious. What a waste it would be. Also it makes Wreckless Driver one the series worst episodes. For the first time for the show to tackle a topic like that and it was just one of Lilas sociopaths performances? Absolutely not.

Discussion Hot Take: The Best Bee Miraculous Holder Wasn't Even a Hero.

Post image

The best Bee Miraculous holder isn't even a hero

Honestly, I think Gabriel is the best Bee Miraculous holder. He used it to its full potential in Deflagration (The Kwamis' Choice), the finale, Gabriel Agreste, when he venomed the Kwamis, and on many other occasions.

I'm sure he was the true best Bee Miraculous holder. It wasn't ChloƩ, ZoƩ, or even Marinette who used the Miraculous to its full potential. It was Gabriel.

He was the one who had the brains to combine it with other Miraculouses, unlike the new hero team, which doesn't do that because of the plot. They could literally do that in Nemesis and catch Lila.

Discussion miraculous civil war teams

I looove the idea of miraculous civil war and this is my picks for cat noir and ladybug team and how the civil war would start.

I think fury would be the one to Split the team once the truth abt monarch comes out. Zoe would reveal her identety as fury and Get the miraculers at her side against ladybug. I think most miraculers would stand together against ladybug since considering the season 7 trailer all of them will reveal each others identety.
Also they would choose cat noir as the leader since he is the most experienced
The only miraculers at ladybugs side would be the most close to her who knows her identety + Nino since he definetly not going against Alya. What yall think?

HI HELLO
trying to cope until season 7 comes out and have been digging into fics of every theory in the world but i was wondering if anyone had any good sentinette fics? (essentially, and probably horribly explained, the "sentinette" theory is that marinette replaced herself with a sentibeing "marinette" to protect herself..? and i think also take more time to investigate into chrysalis..i think)

ANYWAYS please let me know if you have any good fic recommendations!!

Yeah this is a smaller post I’m putting up for now because there’s other discussions and opinions I haven’t finished writing yet so here’s something light for now until I dive into the big stuff šŸ˜….

Also for those of y’all who actually took yesterdays post seriously owe me an apology and need to reflect on life 🤣. I mean the post is well received but the amount of downvotes I gotten from my comments who actually took what I said seriously, this community is so cooked šŸ˜“šŸ˜. Can’t even tell when I’m joking lol.

The first half of my post is partially true though but honestly, some of y’all take this stuff and the show wayy too seriously šŸ˜šŸ˜….

So back to Rose šŸ˜…šŸ˜…

Btw, if you think about it, his identity is the only one who stayed unsolved or hidden from everyone (Chrysalis doesn't count because Tomoe knows about her).

Speculation/Theories civil war theory

if the civil war theory in miraculous is actually real, these are my opinions on who would be on whose side

I put Minotaurox on Ladybug's side because I don't think he would ally himself with a supervillain (taking his father's history into account)

I also put Polymouse, Pegasus and Misshound because both have already shown themselves to be loyal to Ladybug (I still have doubts about Pegasus, but I do believe he would be on Ladybug's side)

and regarding Vesperia, I feel like she would act alone like Fury, maybe. But she would possibly be on Ladybug's side

Title The TikTok Cerise Adrien theory might actually be true and Thomas hint makes it even scarier
Theres a theory circulating heavily on TikTok right now claiming that Cerise might have impersonated Adrien in certain episodes Honestly I dont think we can rule this out at all
Thomas Astruc mentioned that after watching the finale we would look back at Season 6 with completely different eyes What if that wasnt just hype but a literal clue
Imagine if Cerise hasnt just been impersonating Adrien but also key people in Marinettes inner circle like ZoƩ or even Alya Her motive wouldnt just be to mess with Marinette emotionally and isolate her but to actively study her reactions and finally crack her secret identity
If you look closely at some of the dialogue and subtle behavioral shifts in recent episodes it feels entirely possible that Marinette hasnt always been talking to the people she thought she was Rewatching with this in mind genuinely changes the entire dynamic of the season
What do you all think Are there specific scenes where Adrien or others felt off enough to actually be Cerise

Discussion How did the lucky charm work in the 5s finale ?

Thumbnail
gallery
44 Upvotes

I've been following the series for 11 years but I don't usually rewatch the episodes after they’re released. Buuut while waiting for season 7 I felt like watching seasons 4 and 5 again and there is something that doesn't add up to me and I didn't realize it before.
I feel that the lucky charm power at the end of season 5 doesn't make sense. It happens all the drama with Gaby, he asks for the wish and what the Lucky Charm does is repair what happened with the alliance rings and the affected people. But let's remember that before what happens in Recreation (Part 2), Gabriel had self-akumatized to spread the nightmare all over the world and it is something that happened before, how is it that the lucky charm also erased that? If the lucky charm can erase things that happened before, isn't it supposed that when Chat Noir touched Gabriel with The Cataclysm Marinette could have detransformed and transformed again to ask for another lucky charm and heal him? And the worst thing is that as the London Special reveals, the lucky charm is a kind of paint tube that was seen in the battle if I'm not mistaken. Please enlar me, I feel like I'm the one who gets confused

Help/Question The bee miraculous venom works on inanimate objects. What are the limitations of this power?

Thumbnail
gallery
78 Upvotes

Vesperia can venom inanimate objects

We see that in Wreckless Driver, she was able to venom a train and it came to a halt. We also see this in Grendiaper because she venoms a robot which "paralyzed" it.

What are the limits of this power?

For example,if the bee holder uses the venom power on a garden hose, would the water in the hose stop flowing? Can the power stop electricity from flowing in a wire?

Can she also, if she evolves her power, venom the planet Earth and stop it from spinning?
