I’m originally from here and flying in tomorrow (Thursday) for a quick weekend visit. My uncle’s funeral is Saturday afternoon, so I’m only in town for a couple days.

While I’m here I’d really like to do a short set of my music on Thursday/Friday/Sat night whatever day works. I’m (modern/hip hop style). I’ve already reached out to a couple spots but haven’t locked anything down yet.

If anyone knows of any open slots, open mics, karaoke nights that let locals hop on, or just has a contact at a bar that books live music, I’d really appreciate any leads. I’m flexible on timing and can send tracks if needed.

My uncle rents out land and tenant says lots of farmers going out of business now. Have you heard of that being true?

We are looking to buy either 1/4 or 1/2 cow near Minot (2-3 hour drive would be okay, too). Does anyone have any recommendations? Our non-negotiable is that is has to be locally raised. If anyone has bought one recently, what is a fair price/lb?

I'm thinking abt renting with them and was wondering if anyone has any recent experiences they'd like to share. I can't find a lot of reviews and none more recent than 4 years old. It's low income but it looks nice for what it is and it's right in the middle of Minot.

Hi! I’m looking at relocating from Canada to attend the university, and my son is unilaterally deaf. Is there a strong d/Deaf community in or around Minot? Daycares or preschools that utilize ASL? I’ve been doing some research and I don’t think accessing audiology and specialized care will be an issue, but I’m having trouble finding information on the community aspect. I'm 17 and looking for a job, but I don't like working in restaurants and that's a large majority of the businesses hiring right now. Does anyone know of any other places hiring teens with retail experience? I'd be willing to do outdoor work among other things as long as I'm trained, it also has to be part-time since I'm still in school. Tried Indeed, didnt get very many results. Thanks in advance!
