I've always wondered what dogs are thinking when they watch these nature programs. Since it's edited they obviously don't think it's some sort of magical window. Or do they?

I put on bird videos for my cat pretty often, mostly he lays on the table in front of the tv watching but sometimes when a bird runs off screen he'll run to that side of the tv as though the bird ran out of the back of the screen

The blanket covered in dogs and bones is what gets me the dog's literally watching a bird while wrapped in a pattern of his own kind

It’s got more to do with the voice. Old Dave has a very soothing voice.

My cat loved David Attenborough. We would put it on for her any time we left the house and she would sit for hours watching it.
