Great idea but I have concerns about the paper airplane kit. 6 y/o me would have loved to fling paper airplanes around a crowded cafe, to the detriment of anyone nearby without appropriate eye protection.

Thankfully, this was not in the coffee half of the shop, but the art and activities half. There was plenty of room to fly them around and even a fairly unused hallway to the mall-ish building it was in. The rest of the stores in the building were out of business.

That’s me now, as a 6 y/o I was obnoxious but now as a 35 y/o fat dork, I would get hit in the eye with an errant paper airplane. Holding back tears trying to laugh off acute eye pain and partial blindness while sipping my latte. Must be that karma stuff I’ve read about.

This would do so well on a college campus. I'd love one of these in my student center, but it would always be sold out and I'd never get anything lol

My concern would be... The coloring book on top. Is that thing not tearing out a page or 2 before falling?

I used to live near Oakland, CA. There's an area called Fruitvale, which also has a train station. It always corrected to Fruitcake. So I just started calling it that in texts about using that train station: Fruitcake BART 🤪🤷♀️

That's a very fancy version of the Art-O-Mat machines. They are old cigarette machines that get converted to sell art. https://www.artomat.org

We had a vending machine at the architecture building when I was in college. It sold 5 minute epoxy, sandpaper, other glues and similar stuff. Really awesome when you were working in studio at 1:00am.
I wish there were more vending machines like this. Japan has vending machines everywhere and it would be great to see something besides sodas or candy bars like this.

Here's the same box at staples for $0.30 more. What's your point? They're giving their customers a deal?

Filled with massively overpriced items.
Edit: fuck me for not wanting to pay 5 bucks for crayons or 10 bucks for some paper i guess lmao.

That would be really cool in an airport too!
