Iāve noticed they do this because they donāt want to park in a parking spot and risk getting their precious truck dented. And here I thought these things were supposed to be indestructible

They're literally the same type of people parking in both cases -- conservatives. Five years ago, they parked their gas guzzlers in front of electric stations for political reasons, and now that Tesla is their right wing Nat-C symbol five years later they park their electric vehicles in front of gas pumps for political reasons.
Long story short, there is one constant: Conservative assholery.

The only difference between a cyber truck driver and the typical RAM 1500 driver is 2-3 DUIs

I have to agree with this. Iāve not really experienced much trouble from Ford or Chevy truck drivers. However, Ram and Cyber truck drivers definitely rate much higher on the a-hole scale.

I was coming back to Denver one spring and there was a small or even average side hail storm nothing really worth noting.Ā
I was about 45 minutes out and was about to run out of gas and the next exit only had one station. Every and I mean every pump was blocked by electric cars because their owners were afraid of the hail damaging their cars.... all of them refused to move even after explaining i didn't have enough gas to get to the next stop.Ā
The manager had to come out to rectify... don't know if there was a point to that story but man was i pissedĀ
65
u/LectureEmergency3582 11h ago
That happens every hail storm regardless the type of car. The first place people go is are washes and gas stations. I live in colorado springs. Very typical for even the slightest hail.

completely normal thing i used to drive across the street to sonic when the severe thunderstorm warning popped up bc hailstorms in colorado totaled like 10% of the cars in the state when i lived there, several years in a row. many many billions in property damage and injuries in 2017 and 18 and that happens like twice a decade at least
now the people blocking traffic under overpasses are special af, same with the people who freeze up when they see an ambulance

To be an asshole.
It's the reverse of the diesel drivers parking in tesla charging stations.
They think they're owning someone.. they're just stupid.
I'd park my Jeep with dash cams (front and back) in sentry mode with about a 1/2" gap while I was inside that gas station for 30-60 mins, thus blocking that fucker in. And if he touches Jeep, I'd sue so hard and my Jeep has $100k in it. He'd have to sell that ugly turd and probably sell a kidney or two to pay it off.
21
u/Continental__Drifter 10h ago
And if he touches Jeep, I'd sue so hard and my Jeep has $100k in it.
Why would you keep $100k in your car, and why would this fact make it easier/better to sue someone for touching it?
