My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.( I mean jut a bit but come onnnn …)

CE preorder got cancelled moments ago, they didn’t say why. I preordered within moments when they opened. Time for me to bow out. Good luck out there everyone!

I have a - probably misguided - theory: Are they only cancelling preorders where payment has not been taken until dispatch??..

What a shit show this pre-order launch has been. I was really happy to finally get my hands on a Metro CE after missing all the previous ones. Then we don't get a US PC version at all and the one that was able to be shipped is getting pulled out from under many of us? What the hell?

My pre-order for the CE was cancelled on Amazon, i had a feelong this would happen after seeing someone on twitter get their Control resonant steelbook pre-order cancled. Thing is before that i had a chance of pre-ordering another copy on a different site but i thought i was overthinking and worrying too much.

Damn, if only i knew.

Hopefully Deepsilver will do another wave but i highly doubt that.

Anywho, day ruined 😭💔

As I said in title, I pre ordered metro 2039, specifically deluxe edition. While I know that pre ordering games (specifically often overpriced deluxe / ultimate editions) in this time is seen as risky idea (I look at you, stalker 2 and cyberpunk 2077) but as a fan of metro and 4A games for some time, I see this as giving trust into studio I support and believe in. I played all previous games including VR metro awakening, read 2033 and 2034 (Im reading 2035 after finding specific hardcover edition in my language) and as slav I also increased my alcohol (mushroom vodka) tolerance. Any other preparations / things to do before metro 2039 is here?

With all the issues and the high demand for the Collectors Edition/Helmet can you possibly do a 2nd run for just the helmet? That's all I (and maybe most of us) want is the helmet. For all I care keep it the same price without the game or the steel case.
It seems like it would be free money on the table and a good gesture toward the fans.

I guess they are canceling all of the pre-orders. I wonder if anyone gets to keep theirs.

Does anyone recommend any other books that i don’t have? Finished most of them, i couldn’t bare reading “Człowiek Obiecany” (The promised human) but other than that all of them are read through.

Just a warning from a British person with an amazon preorder, those who managed to get one? You may want to check your emails, mine just got cancelled as did a friend of mine :( due to high demand and limited stock

But its all good we get a £10 promo balance 😭 but its fine scalpers have them on ebay for over double the initial cost.

The fiasco is not over, now they are canceling order. The pre-order are disaster, I don't know if this is Amazon or Deepsilver fault but is just unfair, they waited until it was out of stock everywhere to tell me my order is canceled. I hope the sold more copy, but I don't really believe they will.

It's one of the few creatures that's cool but also annoying.

I wasn't able to get the US version, but my UK one got canceled like other posts here. Do we think amazon might be doing a cancle on all orders?

** This is about the physical hardback art book and steelbook case. Not the game itself which is a code. *\*

I’m not seeing retailers selling the PHYSICAL version for PC with the hardback art book. Only console.

There seems to be a mix up over the physical and digital Deluxe Editions for PC.

Hey all, I’m considering getting a new case and going for a somewhat subtle Metro theme eg. paint/weathering maybe some decals but I don’t have interest in the full on themed builds with custom 3D printed parts etc. just maybe a weathered type paint design.

So, what case do you all think might lend itself nicely to something like that?

I’m not doing the Warthog, just not my thing but was thinking the HAF II 500 may be a good candidate?

I just finished reading the books in a trilogy bundle that had:

2033, The Gospel According to Artyom, 2034, The end of the road, 2035.

I am not sure about the situation with The Gospel According to Artyom in relation to the rest of the books.

At the end of that short story Artyom finds a surviving dark one but that is never brought up again in 2035 which is about him again.
Is the Gospel just an official fanfic or something and not canon lore? Or did he just hallucinate that one lone survivor?

Is there any official explanation for this?

I didn't play the games yet but if I got it right they differ from the book canon so this question is really only about the book-verse.

As of 5pm EST on 10/16, gamestop still has both xbox and PS5 copies of the CE

In all seriousness though my balls genuinely dropped i had barely any ammo left and 1 or 2 throwing knifes left I'm glad that liberian was like that
