Aloha everyone! The name is Humble and I am an artist/writer! π βοΈ
So, here is my very first fan art of a fun combo: Jett Filmore from GOAT and Jetstream Sam from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. I got references mostly from the two photos included in this post. The pose I got off the top of my head.
Please share your thoughts below!
Thank you. π

I don't understand how I'm supposed to be able to block multi-hit attacks. From what research I could gather I'm supposed to do the guard input separately for each hit and I don't understand how that's a good design decision at all because it's way too hard to block the entire combo. I'm intentionally fighting the flamethrower guys in the sewer level to get practice and the spin move just always hits me no matter how much I practice. Why not let me hold the input to block multi-hit attacks?

Trying to get Hero of the Metaverse right now and VR Mission 019 (the one where you have to fight through enemies with your fists) is just needlessly unfair. For the end of the mission, you are required to fight three cyborgs, one custom, one heavy, and a mastiff at the same time. Between the mastiff's constant grab attacks, the custom's long combos, and the general absurd amount of time it takes to kill the enemies with your fists, the whole section ends up feeling clunky, extremely over-tuned, and very frustrating. On top of this, you have to be able to complete the entire mission + this last section in under 7 minutes to set the highest score. Unless there's something I'm doing wrong or I'm just bad at the game, I cannot for the life of me end up at this last section with more than a minute and a half to spare, which is not enough time at all.
I'm curious about anyone else's experiences with this mission because this is the most frustrated a VR Mission has made me thus far, even after getting Virtually Flawless.
edit: literally just beat it, i found that using heavy > light > heavy > light attack quickly takes out the regular cyborgs so you have more time for the later waves
