I’m currently working on Wilderland, a new Minecraft Java Survival server, and I’m looking for a few people who’d like to help me bring it to life!

The goal is to create a mostly Vanilla experience with a strong focus on community, player interaction, and a long-term world that evolves over time.

Here’s the general idea:

• Vanilla with land claims to protect players’ builds.
• Diamond-based economy: actual diamonds will be used as currency, with no virtual money or /balance system.
• Player-run chest shops: players can create physical shops and trade directly with each other. No virtual /shop menus.
• Player-created towns and cities: players can establish their own settlements, elect leaders, manage territories, and develop their communities.
• Diplomacy & City Wars: cities can form alliances, negotiate treaties, declare rivalries, and participate in organized wars against other cities. Wars will follow clear rules, with scheduled battles and objectives
• Weekly rotating events, including 1v1 and 2v2 PvP tournaments, boat racing (Minecraft F1-style!), horse races, archery competitions, treasure hunts, parkour, and more.
• Wilderland Games: Minecraft Olympics held every month or two, with different player-built cities hosting each edition and competing against each other!
• No pay-to-win: donor ranks will only offer cosmetic perks.

I’m currently looking for developers, admins, and helpers who’d enjoy being part of the project from the beginning.

I’ll personally cover ALL the costs — hosting, plugins, custom development, website, marketing, and anything else needed. I’m also happy to discuss paid work with developers.

I’m not trying to create another generic Survival server with tons of plugins. I want something simple, polished, and community-driven, where players can build, trade, compete, and create their own stories.

Whats with tons of people asking for experienced staff members/developers/managers but offering no pay and stil expect people to apply?

I'm looking to join a server's as a developer/admin. I've been working on servers for years, and what I do best is getting things set up properly and running smoothly, like a plugin, a system, or custom content.

What I can do for you:

Plugin setup and config, including WorldGuard, Citizens and more

LuckPerms and permissions

Economy, shops

Skript/Denizen

Moderation and staff management

Custom mob, skills, bosses, drops, spawners, dungeons, items. If your server wants custom content, I can set it up and balance it.

What I can’t do:

Make models or textures (I work with an artist or licensed assets)

Write custom Java plugins.
