HOW FAST DO THESE KITTENS GROW!!
I got my MC Kitten just over 1 week ago he was 9 weeks 1.3kg when I got him, he’s now 1.5kg and visibly a lot bigger, hair wise and length, head size etc but just wondering is it normal for them to grow this fast? Did yours grow fast like this and how big should I expect him over the next few months!?

Question need advice!!
hello all! I recently put down a deposit for a maine coon kitten. he would be coming home in mid november, when he is about 14 weeks old. i have 3 cats at home already, a 4 year old female, a 4 year old male, and an 11 month old female. they are all DSH. i have been working from home, with some time in the office. but i recently found out that i will need to be in the office much more than i have been (every weekday with some exceptions). i also have an hour commute each way. i am starting to get worried that i will be gone for way too long and that this kitten will not be getting enough attention. all my other cats have been raised by me since they were kittens. i know how to set him up, i have an auto feeder and room available for him, and was planning to get a large litter box. i have plenty of toys and cat furniture i will set up for him. i have done my research and plan to have a playtime and brushing routine with him from day 1. my question is, will he be okay being alone that long? i will be home every evening and all weekend to spend time with him. i just want to make sure he is well socialized and happy. of course eventually he will be able to play with my other cats as well, after they have all been introduced properly. any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Big Gabe 'The Floof King' Wind Blown
He was just trying to wait for his feathered friends to play but the wind wasn't being fair. 😀 Yes, he really is that big at 2 1/2 yrs old... 23+ pounds and probably more that 4' long.

Escape artist
Our mainecoon is hell bent on getting run over. He escapes at every chance, runs away from us and into the busy street. I have an AirTag collar on him which has helped many times. What ideas do you have? Would a catio help? Walks in a stroller or train on leash? A tether to his harness for some time outside?

Anyone else's MC a little booger factory? 😂 NSFW
galleryGot this beautiful kitty about a month ago and he has been struggling with nose boogies and the occasional eye crusties.. All tests at the vet came back negative, so we are just trying to figure out where this might be coming from.. sometimes he sneezes like x10 in a row to get these huge human like boogies out! lol. He usually sounds a lot better after too. Not everyday is like this. - Looking for anecdotal advice and maybe how you went about this!!
Thank you so much in advance, this is our first MC & we just want him to live the best life possible.

Question how often do you cut your cat's nails
I apologize if it's a dumb question, this is my first time having a kitten of my own
Suki is almost 6 months now and got her nails trimmed last month for the first time since I got her and she did fantastic!
She has multiple scratching posts and a cat tree that she uses a lot but her nails are needle sharp again so I'm wondering how often I should trim her nails ?

This is new...
At 2 years old Arthur hasn't plopped down like this before until now. He has an excellent view of the food across from him on the counter. As soon as I leave he will continue what he started which is knocking anything of remote interest to him on the floor for further inspection..

Question Love her to pieces but I just want one night of sleep.
😂 Nobody told me that owning a Maine Coon meant signing over all rights to my own bed!
Apparently, I’m not the owner… I’m just the staff. 🤦♀️🐈
This 20-pound floof has decided that I am her personal trampoline, her heated mattress, AND her midnight blanket fort. She will literally dig her way under the blankets like she’s breaking into a top-secret government facility. 😂
And if that’s not enough, she apparently believes my chest is the perfect place to park 20 pounds of pure feline audacity at 3 AM. 💀
Yes, she’s adorable. Yes, I love her. But there’s nothing quite like waking up gasping for air because your cat decided you were a piece of furniture. 🤣
Maine Coon owners, please tell me this is normal and that I’m not the only one being held hostage by a furry, four-legged landlord. 😂🐾

My MC retaliates against me if I don’t feed her wet food as soon as I wake up!!
Does anyone else have this issue?? As soon as I wake up if I do anything else besides feed her, like lay under the covers and play on my phone, or sit on the couch and drink my coffee, my MC retaliates against me by either peeing in the dogs bowl, or peeing on their bed. I am so over it and I don’t know how to stop it besides bowing to her!!
She free eats dry food and it’s never empty, always available.

Question for you all
Sometimes I wish there was a Mainecoon family tree so I could see who is related to my kitten when I look at your pictures. Anyone else feel this way? Marge the cat just turned a year old

Not eating much wet food?
Hi everyone, my precious little Sun Sun is hardly eating any of his wet food. I’m rotating a lot of brands to see if he’s gone off some and to no avail! I have even bought some Sheba and Purina Gourmet food (which I never thought I would) to see if he would eat those and he licks the gravy/jelly off and calls it a day!
My main question is should I be worrying as much as I am? He is almost 9 months old, still eating his dry food, is peeing normally and pooping every day as well. His most recent vet visit on the 1st of this month he was 6.2kg, which seems on track I’d say. He is still his usual self causing havoc, running around chirping and playing as he normally would.
I’d say it’s been about a week and I would estimate that he’s fully ate about 4 tins of food, despite being offered it 3x daily he just turns his nose up.
Any advice/explanation would be greatly appreciated to stop me worrying my head off! Have any of you guys gone through this with your little terrors?
Lots of pics for cat tax (including my huge new canvas of him… not sure if i’m crazy or just a devoted cat mam lol)
