Personally for me is the lack of free roam, and general lack of side activities, this world is so detailed yet you can't really explore everything that much and really no reason to do so unless you are looking for collectibles, you are essentially always in a mission and if you die you have to restart everything again, not to mention after you get your house burnt down your almost back to 0 apart from the cars which hopefully you fully tuned, still it's hard to not love this game even with it's flaws, and I'm hoping it might get a remaster or at least a major update that will add something else to do besides the mains missions

I’ve tried a few different combinations and noticed that the characters often refer to the districts they are assigned in their dialogue. Here is a brief breakdown:

Vito favors Southdowns the most; he mentions that his favorite hangout is there, and—with its black market and protection rackets—it fits his definition of the Italian Mafia. He is also pleased with Tickfaw Harbor, explicitly noting that it gives him control over all illegal smuggling entering or leaving the city, which grants him immense logistical power. He isn’t fond of Barclay Mills due to the trash, or the French Ward because of the prostitution and drugs. He appreciates Downtown, while he remains fairly indifferent toward Frisco Fields.

Cassandra is generally satisfied with any district, as each one expands the influence of the Black community; however, she speaks particularly positively about the French Ward and Barclay Mills, viewing them as a continuation of the work she’s doing in The Hollow.

Burke wants to control the French Ward and Frisco Fields. He also speaks positively about Tickfaw Harbor. He detests Barclay Mills and believes that Southdowns is a better fit for Vito.

In my personal canon, Vito gets Downtown, Southdowns, and Tickfaw Harbor. Burke gets Frisco Fields and the French Ward. As for Cassandra, I only give her Barclay.

Hello! I made the trophy "you are a rich man!" The trophy that consists of having earned 500,000 thousand dollars even if it was unlocked for about 492 thousand dollars. Since I had almost half a million I also wanted to do the trophy "hands with holes" which consists of spending those 500,000, well, I did it. He didn't give me the money.. I spent about 499,750 dollars, I collected another 4,000 thousand dollars, I spent it but he didn't give me the trophy. What can I do? All this about the new version for ps5

He has no actual relevance in the story other than the 5 minutes that he appears in the beginning. The only relevance he actually has to this story, was just the fact that his death is what caused Enzo to call out Il Merlo but I am pretty such Enzo would have done that anyways when he saw the chaos and aftermath around him.

Even post-prologue, Enzo completely forgets that he existed until the final chapter. Like the damn "Empire Bay" post-card has more plot relevance than Gaetano. Enzo never brings Gaetano up anywhere, he never mentions him to Isabella or Cesare which would make completely sense. When Enzo talks about his family,h e could easily have talked about Gaetano, but no lets not do that.

Based on what we see with Gaetano, he was meant to be Enzo Favara's "brother" at the mines. His best friend, the only one he could talk to, the one he saw as a brother. But then Enzo just views Cesare the same way and completely forgets Gaetano

Even Il merlo in Chapter 9 references Gaetano. Mind you Il Merlo didnt even know who Gaetano was other than being a random carusu who hanged out with Enzo. The only other time in the game when Gaetano is actually referenced, it's just in Chapter 1 where Enzo says "good people" died at the mines when him and Luca are riding to Torrisi Villa.

And the only time Enzo mentions Gaetano after this? Thats in the finale chapter where he just says the lines of "I remember this route, me and Gaetano was here" while he is navigating the mines... You could not even include Gaetano's name in that dialogue or even have him say that dialogue and it would make no reference

So yeah. Gaetano is a useless character that the writers completely wasted, they could have used his death to help give Enzo more depth and actually have his name brought up. But he felt like a quick character the writers wrote just so Enzo had someone to talk to for the most part in the mines. You could remove Gaetano from the story and nothing would change

I was always sort of used to shadow flickering in mafia but I swear this time I play it it is unbearable. Is there any fix, either in settings or a patch or is it just what it is?

Just finished the game, and I was absolutely taken back by the song during the credits, was expecting some frank Sinatra thing, not a whole rap song 😭

Seems they downgraded the weather effects for the new patch, first 2 pics are the original definitive Edition and the second 2 are from the Series X 60FPS update, a lot less and lower quality reflections on the ground. Shame as the rain in Mafia III always looked fantastic

After all these years, I can finally say I’ve earned the Platinum! 🏆 Thank God for the PS5 version — it was an absolute blast, and I’ve genuinely loved going back to this game. In my opinion, it’s seriously underrated and deserves a lot more love. Overall, I’m buzzing to have finally got the Platinum, and I can’t wait to jump into the DLC next! 🎮🔥
