I finally got my hands on the Lush Advent Calendar and wanted to share my thoughts! I couldn’t resist having a sniff of everything straight away, and I’ve already tried around half the products because my patience is honestly nonexistent when it comes to Lush 😂

I thought I’d do a proper, in-depth review of each product rather than just post an unboxing. I’ll be covering the scents, performance, how long the fragrances last, whether I’d repurchase them, and any products that surprised me.
I’ve included a couple of photos of the calendar and some of the products I’ve already been enjoying. 🥹

I’d also love to hear from anyone else who has the calendar! What are your favourite products so far? Is there anything you think deserves more love, or anything you were disappointed by? 💚🎄

🛀🫧 BATH PRODUCTS
🤎 Swirly Sticky Dates Bubble Bar
Smells heavenly! I love the Sticky Dates scent in general, and this bubble bar definitely doesn’t disappoint.
I would LOVE a whole Sticky Dates bath combo edition featuring a Sticky Dates bath bomb, this bubble bar and even the new Sticky Pudding bath melt. Of course, once you’re out of the bath, the full Sticky Dates shower routine is a must! 🤎💛

🥕 Carrot Bath Bomb — EXCLUSIVE
Yet to use!
Smells nice and fruity, with a zesty vibe. It kind of reminds me of the Easter bath bombs featuring a bunch of carrots! 🥕

🍯 Honey Bear Bath Bomb — EXCLUSIVE
THIS SMELLS AMAZING.
It has that lovely honey scent but isn’t as sickly sweet as the Honey I Washed the Kids shower gel. I’m not usually a HIWTK gal, but this bath bomb might just be the one to convert me.
Along with the cough, cough HIWTK Body Scrub. 👀🍯🐝

❄️ Snowdrift Bath Bomb
Yet to use!
The scent projects a very clean, eucalyptus-minty vibe. It smells so fresh and immediately makes me think it would pair beautifully with the North Pole Shower Gel.
The bath bomb itself is gorgeous, too! ❄️☃️

😴 Silent Night Bath Bomb
Such a lovely bedtime bath bomb! The shimmer was gorgeous, and it left my skin feeling SO soft.
I paired it with the mini Sleepy Bubble Bar and honestly slept like a baby that night. I used all my Sleepy products alongside it, and the whole combination was just perfect. 😴💜

🎄 Christmas Tree Bath Bomb

This smells SO good. It genuinely gives fresh, green Christmas tree vibes. 💚🎄
I paired it with the Celebrate Bubble Bar (EXCLUSIVE), which smelled amazing in its own right. I also finally used my Lord of Misrule Shower Gel samples alongside the Most Famous Reindeer of All soap.
The combination was incredible, and I could STILL smell myself the next day!
It was this gorgeous mix of earthy, zesty scents with that unmistakable fresh Christmas tree smell. Such a good combo!

🍊 Merry Christmas Everyone Bath Bomb

Smells exactly how it looks: bright citrus, orange and lime vibes through and through. 🍊
I really want to pair this with the Chocolate Orange Shower Gel to create the ultimate Terry’s Chocolate Orange experience, alongside the Chocolate Orange Lip Scrub and Lip Jelly. 🍫🍊
Tell me that wouldn’t be the perfect combo!

❤️ Candy Cane Reusable Bubble Bar

Smells exactly how you’d imagine a Candy Cane Bubble Bar to smell: pepperminty and festive. It reminds me of the Candy Cane Candle! ❤️🤍

🧼 Candy Cane Soap
This was literally scenting the entire second half of the box!
I smelled this in store and was honestly 50/50 on it, but when it arrived in the calendar, the scent projected SO nicely. I was shocked by the difference!
I picked up a little creaminess, which I think might be coming from the coconut oil. It’s such a lovely soap, and I can’t wait to actually use it.
This will definitely be a repurchase for me! 🧼❤️

🍯 BODY CARE
Honey I Washed the Kids Body Scrub — EXCLUSIVE
Amazing. It felt AND smelled incredible!
I already fell in love with the Sticky Dates Body Scrub, so for Lush to bring out a HIWTK Body Scrub as a gift-exclusive product absolutely kills me a little. WHY?!
The whole HIWTK combination paired with this scrub? Chef’s kiss. Immaculate.
Or imagine using it alongside the Honey Bear Bath Bomb. You’re going to be walking around smelling like Winnie the Pooh. 😭🐻🍯
I NEED this in a permanent product range!

🎄 Christmas Eve Body Butter — EXCLUSIVE
Jasmine and ylang-ylang goodness! It smells so calming and earthy.
I paired it with my Magik Massage Bar to go full earthy, and the combination was beautiful.
I’m genuinely devastated that this is an Advent Calendar exclusive because the scent reminds me of old-school Lush around 2013. It gave me such a nostalgic feeling, and I absolutely adore it. 🎄💚

🌹 Santa’s Favourite Body Spray — EXCLUSIVE
This smells SO, SO nice!
Rosey, powdery and floral, with a lovely dry down. It smells fresh and clean, but not in that blue, squeaky-clean way. It’s more of a green, fresh-and-clean vibe, if that makes sense? 😂💚
I really enjoy this one, and I’m devo that we don’t get a full 200 ml bottle instead of the teeny-tiny version. Lush, PLEASE!

🌹 Snow Cake & Rose Perfume — EXCLUSIVE
This one took me by surprise!
At first, it gave fancy air freshener, but as I kept smelling it, it started giving Rose Jam’s more elegant older sister.
The vanilla and tonka mixed with the rose create this gorgeous frosted floral scent. Think floral icing on a cake, with that sweet, creamy, almost frosted quality. It’s SO yummy. 🌹☃️🍰
I also really love the bottle and packaging. The spray dispenses so evenly compared with some of my other spray perfumes. I love both, but it was a little packaging detail I noticed!
Overall, a very pleasant surprise and a gorgeous perfume.

🍏 HOME FRAGRANCE
Once Upon a Time Candle — EXCLUSIVE
This smells exactly like the Body Spray!
I really wish Lush would bring out more Once Upon a Time-scented products because I think this scent would work beautifully with the upcoming Grinch range. 🍏💚
I burned this last night while enjoying my bath, and I was told the whole house smelled like fresh green apples.
Honestly, that sounds like a dream to me. Fresh, green apple goodness throughout the house? YES, PLEASE.

SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST

Turmeric Latte Dusting Powder — EXCLUSIVE
This smells absolutely DIVINE. Lush literally put the perfume into dusting powder form, and it is SO YUMMY.
It’s spicy, creamy and warm in all the best ways. There’s no shimmer in this one, which makes it perfect for both daytime and nighttime use.
Although, let’s be real, I still use glittery powders before bed. 😂🛌✨
But this powder alongside my Turmeric Latte routine? Literally the chocolate powder sprinkled on top of a cappuccino. It completes the whole experience perfectly. ☕️💛I originally bought the Advent Calendar specifically for this dusting powder, and it has absolutely lived up to my expectations!

💚 FINAL THOUGHTS
Trying and smelling everything else has genuinely introduced me to scents I probably wouldn’t have gravitated towards otherwise.
I also haven’t had a bath in well over a decade, and using these bath bombs again made me feel like I was 13 years old. 🥹
Now I’m officially addicted to baths and bath bombs. I never thought I’d be saying that!
It’s been so much fun rediscovering bath products, experimenting with combinations and finding new favourites. Some of these products have made me wish Lush would bring back more nostalgic scents, while others have introduced me to fragrances I didn’t expect to love.

These are my current body sprays. I finished few bottles and got rid of one I didn't like anymore, and I alcually feel better there are not too many choises. Still my favorite is We Believe In Glinda, and it is the only spray I have a back up. With Grape Soda I finished a bottle and this is now the back up. What do you think of my collection. Do you share several favorites with me? Maybe one that you don't enjoy?

celebrate body lotion & dusting powder are in my top 5 all time favorite lush products. the same scent also comes in the merry christmas everybody body wash. i’m pretty sure it comes out around christmas/new years. the scent is just like the squeak shampoo. i love it so so much.

a few days ago i went into a lush store and asked them if it’ll be coming back, but the employee told me she doesn’t think so. i’ve also been googling it, but to no avail. can anyone tell me if it’ll be back?! if it isn’t coming back im genuinely gonna be so upset.

i ended up blind buying turmeric latte since i unfortunately don’t have a store next to me and ive seen so many good reviews. Well i just opened the box and it is NOT what i expected 😔 it almost reminds me of a candle my grandma used to have.

Lush re-entered my life in the beginning of August and since then I’ve accumulated 1,200 points. Some purchases were gifts but most were for me 🫣

Yesterday I went to grab more of my new favorite soap “Cherry on Top” and decided I needed to try the banana conditioner. At the counter I grabbed my beloved charity pot.

Since I plan to purchase at least two of the community club fragrances that are dropping next month I need to put myself in lockup! Lush jail starts now, wish me luck lol!

Ps are there any other products that smell like cherry on top? It’s sooooo lovely I need more of it!

I would love to know the name of that cute dog we get to see at the top of the page. Or do we just give him a name? Butterball?

Banana shampoo: The first time I tried this my hair felt extremely greasy. I gave it another try and omg! It makes my hair so shiny and voluminous. I’m also not as greasy by the end of the day. The smell is also amazing. I think I just had to use more and be extra careful about washing it out.

Horchata body scrub: I’ve been mulling on this one for awhile. It smelled really strange in the bottle. A bit powdery and play-doh-ey. Fortunately, that is not what it smells like in the shower. The consistency is very lovely. It’s super thick and creamy. I think I might have to buy a backup bottle. It kind of smells like a spicy sleepy to me <3

Shade perfume: This one is a bit bizarre. It smelled a bit bodily when I first sprayed it (like pee). But not in a bad way? I thought obviously I cannot buy this because it smells like pee. I kept on sniffing it. The pee disappeared. It’s really hard to describe the drydown. It’s a bit soapy, but not clean. It almost falls in the “your skin but better” category of fragrances, but not quite. There’s also nothing particularly interesting about it but I can’t stop smelling it? This is the first non-gourmand that I liked enough to buy (I like non gourmands, but mostly on other people). It smells very classy. It doesn’t really last long on me (only about 2 hours) and doesn’t project, which is what I prefer in a fragrance.

Black pearl perfume: I wasn’t going to try this but the worker suggested that I do since I mentioned I like lavender. It started off very lavender. The chamomile smelled like the tea that’s at the bottom of the cup when you leave the teabag in it over night. But not in a bad way. It dried down to a very simple sweet berry scent. I hear it’s low projection, which is what I prefer. Very agreeable and pleasant. Never mind, 2 day update. It gives me horrible headaches and I must return it.

Dream cream lotion: I’m sooo happy I received this sample. It’s extremely thick. Dare I say I am detecting a note of scrubee…? I may have to go out and buy a full one.

The rest of the stuff are actually birthday gifts! The moon soap smelled so strong and the smell is lingering in my bag.

I had budgeted for some fun money to spend when I am especially burdened by all the losses in my close circle recently, so when I went to get my order for doubles or Coconut Drench and Mama-Chino Scrubees I went bit ham. Shout out to lovely shop assistants as always, I was total mess and they were were kind.

Anyway, my beloved Ro's Argan solid body conditioner apparently got it's last ever restock here so I got doubles of that as well and finally splurged for Cloudberry body spray as it is not restocking again here after they run out of last bottles.

They also had new Grinch collab which I was not initially interested at all as Dr. Seuss has never been big thing here, but shop assistant asked me to smell it and it was so mouth wateringly juicy sour apple that I had to get small bottle so my husband could also try it. I got samples of Cinnamon Spiced Latte sg and Beauty Sleep mask, those two metal tins and Eau Roma Water. Felt very blessed. I am going to smell like sourest Moomin ever tonight.

There has been a WWLD sized hole in my heart and I’ve been looking for something that smells enough the same or scratches the itch a bit. Most of the issues I found was that a fragrance was too fresh and not warm enough, or the opposite. Nothing had a good balance of both.

Well I have good news for those who miss it.
I had received a couple newer recommendations to try at lush and while there I decided to smell a few other sprays and perfumes just in case. I came across Chelsea Morning and that was that. It is so much sweeter than What Would Love Do BUT I knew that if I layered it with a dupe from Wicked Good Perfumes that I have, it would balance out and come sooo close with the way the fragrance wore on my skin.
It’s not perfect but it scratches that itch for me and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than trying to buy secondhand bottles online. Even on its own it smells good enough to give me the cozy happy feelings that WWLD used to give.

Obviously I’d rather be able to wear WWLD but for everyday wear while I carefully conserve what I have left of it, Chelsea Morning will do.

I didn’t even know what I was going in for I just wanted to😭so I got another scrubee to make a massage bar out of.

I asked for a sample of coconut drench because to me it always just smelled like palmers cocoa butter. And as a coconut lover I was disappointed I never smelled any, but after using I definitely smell more of a warm toasted coconut scent along with that chocolate ppl talk about. My mother said it smelled like toffee. Overall I like it so I might get one, currently I have only used turmeric latte and that one definitely lasts longer scent wise.

The worker also gave me a sample of the sticky dates scrub which surprised me. I don’t typically like that scent especially the body wash and spray it’s way too gourmand for me but I actually really enjoy the scent of the scrub.

Hi all, my hair is growing as tight curls after chemo and I’m finding it hard to maintain. At the moment it’s just piling on top of my head! Some days it lies flat, others days it’s a frizzy mess.

Please can someone suggest Lush products which might benefit me?

Also, my face is quite dry and I’ve suffered from hyperpigmentation due to the treatment. Any lush products that you’ve found to help?

North Pole shower gel is Maypole scented. Are there any more products that are in this scent?

I'm so excited to finally try HIWTK. The spray has been a bit of a let down with how fast the smell has faded, and when they say glitter spray they mean GLITTER spray.

I'm obsessed with Glory so I've been eagerly waiting 😊

I live in Chicago and have been to two Lush locations, Southport and Wicker Park. I've spent over $200 across 3 visits and I'm loving everything so far! I finally worked up the courage to ask for a sample and got a little bit of Ro's Argan Body Conditioner. I see people online leaving with lots of samples, so I'm curious how it works. Do you ask for specific products? Go at a certain time? Is it just about becoming a regular? Should I go alone? Any tips appreciated, haha!

Has anyone cut open their Cryopod soap from this months kitchen box? I’m curious what the alien inside is made of - in photos it kind of looks like a gummy or jelly inside the soap?? or it might just be more soap lol, I usually cut my lush soaps in half to make them easier to use and last longer, but I dont wanna ruin the alien inside 🫣

This might be a unique experience but does anyone else think the Shade solid perfume smells exactly like crazy Aaron’s thinking putty… specifically the one that’s like matte black and called strange attractor.
