And by some strange force of nature, I’ve since bought far more than I ever meant to initially. Now I can’t help but feel a little ashamed of myself, especially given that the amount I’ve spent (~$430 USD in total) clashes with my (generally 😅) anti-consumerist outlook on life. Like I really could’ve just bought drug store body wash, conditioner, shampoo and lotion and have been 400$ richer.
The silver lining is that the majority of the stuff i own are second hand and some have straight up expired lolol so I want to assume that the original sellers were probably unopposed to just throwing them away.
While I enjoy smelling nice, this is definitely more than I need, and I’ll probably be gifting a good amount that haven’t yet expired/been opened, to my friends 😅😅
REALLY really gonna try to resist buying any more until, at minimum, boxing day comes along (lush rly has a way of hypnotising u to buy more than u mean to I stg and my neurodivergent ass is way too vulnerable)

So I don’t know if this is allowed but I guess I just needed to share this storytime haha.
I was a big Lushie back in the day and then I just sort of forgot about it? And I moved on to an interest in niche perfumes etc. Due to the viralisation (that’s not a word) of Lush, I stumbled upon it again and with some healthy cynicism I scoffed and decided ‘to test that influence hype super milk whiz myself’ and we will see how good it is.
Well I loved it! I loved it so much that I fell a little bit too much in love. I develop weird interests and hyper obsessive addictive tendencies during my luteal phase due to having PMDD/ADHD dopamine shortage. Lush became my hyperfocus this month and I can’t tell you how It felt almost feral constantly reading Reddit, looking up stuff on Vinted AND ORDERING, man the ordering. I unironically almost bought the entire store (fragrances, bodymists, perfumes, dusting powders, massage bars especially) AND even with that I still had THE FOMO.
I felt almost protective/scared to miss out on stuff, it just wasn’t possible and I was constantly thinking about ways to order.
I felt this was all such a weird fever dream. I ordered so freaking much. I love all of it but I live in a lush clubhouse now. I went from 1 lush product to 40+ in a month.
Now you think: girl, that’s crazy. You are crazy.
Yes. It is crazy. And I feel regret and deep shame, so please be gentle. I am now on my period and ‘mentally stable again’ and disappointed in myself.
I’m happy with what I got and atleast I smell good, but today I have to ride my bike 26 miles ON MY PERIOD because I can’t afford the train until my salary on Friday. I will give my husband the access to my bank account to save me if this ever happens again. But I can be really convincing that I’m doing fine 😗🥴
Don’t do lush drugs kids.
Anybody else have some similar stories to make me feel a bit better?

And I freaking LOVE it. It's what I wanted the Snowcake body spray to smell like. The rose defintely adds that needed depth- it literally is Snowcake with a very subtle & sweet rose undertone. It also has this clean or fresh element to it?
I'll update the comments in a few hours regarding longevity
I love cherry and cherry almond scents, but Snowcake body spray from last year is the only iteration I've tried of Snowcake and while I liked it, it wasnt what I was expecting. Almost too cloying and medicinally sweet smelling...it's mellowed out in the months I've owned it and I do wear it from time to time, but I don't go diving for it
But oh my goshhhh, would I love to have Snowcake and Rose in a full size. Lush needs to officially release this scent if they haven't in the past 😩❄️ 🍒

For the last several weeks I’ve been preparing for a move, which meant using up as many products as possible and not buying anything. My Lush collection got dangerously small, but fortunately now the move is behind me, so it was time to place another order :)
Other than Candy Rain, all these products are new for me!! I didn’t realize that Cinnamon Spice Latte and Jalebi were SO sparkly - especially Jalebi, the picture doesn’t really picture just how covered in glitter it is 😂 Good thing I like sparkles! Also Jalebi smells so incredible, I can’t wait to take a bath!!
I’m really excited to try Roots since I’ve heard so many good things about it!! I’m trying to grow out my hair so I’m really curious if it will make any difference.
Let me know your thoughts on these products!!

I’m quite new to lush products and have only tried “Let the good times roll” and scrubee during spring so I was contemplating if (lgtr) would have as much projecting strength during winter. Please recommend any lush scents I can use throughout winter and christmas

Today’s haul on the left // My collection on the right.
This isn’t even covering my massage bars and body melts/scrubs in my personal lush mini fridge 🤣
My boyfriend thinks I have a problem. I don’t think I do lol 😂

I reallyyyy gotta stop buying from lush!! But I love their products so much. The new coconut drench dusting powder is incredible for anyone wondering, very creamy and feels so good. This haul cost me around 145$ CAD. But it was worth it. The sticky dates shower gel was from the lush club reward program, so it was free (yay).
My next buy will be the LOM body spray 🤩

This might be a weird post but I hope it makes sense and doesn't come across as crazy haha.
I have problems with my memory, especially encoding long-term memories. I know something happened, but I can't remember any details about it.
One hack I've discovered over time is that if I smell a strong and unique scent during an event, like during a holiday or something, I will be able to remember that event much better (or at least a couple of hours of it,) when I smell that scent again. For example, I can remember a few hours of a trip I took to America 15 years ago, because it was the first time I used Flying Fox. I can remember the first day in my first flat away from home if I smell Karma. I can remember my last Christmas with my parents if I smell Snow Fairy, etc etc.
I have an event coming up that I would really like to remember as much as possible into the future. I'm not a diehard Lush fan, so there are probably lots of scents I have never smelled from there. I'm just wondering what the strongest ones are that I can maybe use for this event coming up. For this to work, it has to be one I have never used before. Preferably a shower gel although it doesn't have to be, and preferably one that Lush will keep selling into the future, so I can smell it again.
Scents I'm familiar with already are: Flying Fox, Karma, Snow Fairy, Lord of Misrule, Grass, Million Dollar (?) The really minty one I forget the name of, Glogg, Sticky Dates, Wiccy Magic Muscles
The reason I use Lush for this is because they tend to use very strong, unique scents that can't be mistaken for something else. I've tried this with scented candles, perfumes and pot pourri in the past but it doesn't tend to work as well.
Hope that makes sense. Thanks guys :)

Questions: What are your favorite minty products?
Also, do we think the snow flake bubble wand is coming back?
Hot take: I wish there were even stronger minty products—mainly a body wash! 🍃🌱

I say this will be my last haul before Christmas but we will see how quick I use these ones up first

I just got my s’mores body wash in the mail and it is so good. Any idea on if this will be expanded into a lotion or spray as well?

Oh, Sympathy for the Skin, why are you SO GOOD? And why did it take me so long to realize just how amazing you are???
That subtle, creamy softness, the PERFECT amount of banana, the sweetness of vanilla ice cream in a freshly baked waffle cone… Everything about you is just so beautifully balanced. You’re sweet but never sticky, creamy but never heavy, and so so comforting and delicious at the same time. Even the texture is absolutely perfect.
I LOVE YOU. You smell SO ridiculously good!!!
And lately, I can’t stop thinking about how incredible this scent would be in other forms. Imagine a Sympathy for the Skin massage bar, dusting powder, solid perfume, or even an actual perfume!!! I would buy every single one of them in a heartbeat.
Please, Lush, I NEED to smell like this all day, every day!!!!!

hi friends. i’ve had the kitchen box for shower for about two years. most of the time i really like the items i get. my bf and i moved in together into his place and he has a big bathtub!! i was wondering if anyone who has the xl box could tell me if they think it’s worth the extra money or if its better to just keep my shower subscription. especially considering i never go through a whole box before the next month.
also this has probably been asked before, so i apologize for my redundancy.
have a great day everyone! xx

I’m new to the community. Should we expect more winter themed drops or is that it?

I love the Grinch shower gel and never want to be without it. Are there any lotions or body sprays that smell similar?
r/LushCosmetics • u/RagAndBows • 22h ago
I bought a full bottle of Rose Jam on Vinted. It's not expired or anything. You guys, this smells weird at first! Like burned chemicals or something until the dry down. Then I can begin to pick up the syrupy, sweet sour notes. I'm really trying to love this spray because the longevity is pretty good. Would layering help??

i’m nearly onto my second pompompurin shower jelly and i’m in love with the scent (paired with my beloved supermilk) but obviously the sanrio collection is limited edition :(
basically i was wondering if there was another product that has a similar scent to the shower jelly???

I noticed that most Lush products have codes like “UK-1A”, “UK-2B”, “UK-2D” or UK-3C”, etc etc
Could somebody explain what they mean?
