That's literally it. That's the post, ai menus are disgusting and off-putting. I hope and pray any business using AI for posters/ leaflets etc loses money from it

Clothes banks

I tried 4 different places today for a clothes bank to put 4 bags of clothes, but they have all been taken away. Are there any left? The clothes are just going to end up in the regular rubbish if I can't find one. Have they all been removed for a reason? I'm assuming people taking the piss and dumping whatever they want in them

Also, before anyone asks, I have tried taking the clothes to a SVP charity shop and they said they weren't taking clothes

Accommodation suggestions :)

Hi everyone!

I’m planning to move from Dublin to Limerick for a work assignment and have been struggling to find suitable accommodation.

My workplace is in Limerick city centre, and I’m looking for an area that offers a good balance between an easy commute, access to shopping centres, and everyday amenities.

For those living in Limerick, I’d really appreciate your advice on:

  • Best areas to live: Which neighbourhoods would you recommend?
  • Budget: What would be a realistic monthly rent for a decent place?
  • Transport: Is it practical to live outside the city centre and commute by bus, or would walking be easier?
  • Shopping and amenities: Which areas have good access to shopping centres, supermarkets, and other essentials?
  • Areas to avoid: Are there any places you wouldn’t recommend, particularly for someone new to the city?

I’m moving from Dublin, so any local insights would be really helpful. I’d love to hear about your experiences and recommendations.

Thanks in advance!

It’s worrying sometimes how disconnected the people funding ‘the arts’ are from the art.

Where do i start playing tennis?

Hi everyone, myself and my wife would like to start playing. Realistically, how expensive would that be, if we only play occasionally, like 3-4 times a month? What place would you suggest, considering that we do not want to lose a fortune on this.

Any advice for beginners is welcomed.

Another Successful Don't Fear the Repair

We held another Don't Fear the Repair event last Saturday. We had 12 visitors, bringing in 17 items, of which 8 were successfully repaired! Great Stuff! We also cleaned an old laptop for donation to disadvantaged school children.

Thank you so much to our volunteers for their time and expertise. As always, this only works because of their generosity.
