Stuck Between 2 Lenovo Yogas
Hey there, I bought 2 open box laptops. Trying to decide which one I should keep. They are both Lenovo Yoga 7i 2 in 1s with 512gb SSD and 16 inch screens. I’m looking at longevity, reliability, value, and performance.
1 is the 2024 model with Intel 7 Ultra Series 2 256V, 16gb RAM, Intel Arc 140V graphics and LCD 2K screen. I paid $683 for this one.
The other is the 2026 Aura Edition with Intel 7 Ultra Series 3 355V, 24gb RAM, Intel Graphics, and OLED 2K screen. I paid $963 for this one.
I do like the OLED, especially since it has more RAM, but not sure if it’s worth the $280 difference. I really appreciate any, and all, help in this.

[DO NOT BUY] Lenovo India is withholding my ₹29,347 refund for a DOA Moto Pad 70 since Sept 2nd using invalid transaction IDs!
Hey everyone, I need some advice and want to warn potential buyers about the absolute nightmare I am facing with Lenovo India's post-sale escalation team.
I purchased a Moto Pad 70 from Flipkart, and it turned out to be completely Dead on Arrival (DOA). The official Lenovo service centre verified it, issued a DOA certificate, and I surrendered the physical tablet to them on 2 September 2026 under Ticket No. 2032434483. Lenovo corporate explicitly agreed in writing to a full refund of ₹29,347.
For 1.5 months, they completely stalled, ignored my emails, and repeatedly claimed in writing that the amount was successfully "credited." However, my bank statements show absolutely zero credit.
After a massive public push on X (Twitter) and formal notices, an escalation manager named Gopal Rotti finally emailed me a Citibank reference number: CITIN26742545134.
Here is the twist: I immediately logged a formal dispute tracking request with my bank (AU Small Finance Bank) under Ticket No. 4792408852162. When I checked with the branch management, they scanned it and stated the sequence does not match any valid interbank settlement or standard UTR format. I am currently waiting for the bank's central treasury clearing desk to give me their final written confirmation email today.
The second I pointed this out to Lenovo, their customer care agents completely changed their tune—backtracking from saying the money was "credited" to claiming it was merely "initiated," while completely refusing to pull their own Citibank outward remittance logs.
I have already escalated the matter straight to Lenovo India's Managing Director (Shailendra Katyal) via email. If they don't resolve this with a genuine transaction proof or manual IMPS today, I am going forward with a National Consumer Helpline (NCH) filing and E-Daakhil consumer court dispute.
My questions for the community:
Has anyone else faced this specific tactic where a brand hands you an untraceable/invalid CITINreference number just to buy time?
Once my bank issues the official email confirming the number is completely invalid on the network, how heavily will the Consumer Forum penalise them for financial misrepresentation?
Any tips to make the NCH portal or E-Daakhil process smoother for an airtight case like this?
Avoid Lenovo and Motorola tablets at all costs. Their backend support structure is non-existent.

Idea Tab Plus: Can't get the display size to change
I can drag the slider just fine in the settings, and see the result in the Settings. But it doesn't do anything on the home screen. I rebooted in Safe Mode to no effect. Google AI is telling me to do a Wipe Cache Partition, but I'm not sure I want to try something like that right off the bat, because I don't know what else it is going to change.

Has anyone bought a Lenovo laptop on AliExpress?
I'm in Australia and I'm looking to get a Lenovo laptop for my daughter's birthday. I compared a few platforms and AliExpress seems to have the best price, especially with the brand day sale going on right now. Code AUCYD50 stacks on top too. I've never bought electronics on there before, just small stuff, so I'm not sure if it's worth it. Has anyone actually bought a laptop or something bigger? Would you do it again?
Is this laptop worth buying over my old one?
I found this computer on sale for 700€ where I live instead of 1200€: Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 14IRH10 (I5/8/512 GB) 14
my 7 year old lenovo ideapad s145 has been so bad for a long time now so I’ve wanted to replace it.
Is it worth it? I’m just looking for a computer that isn’t slow, doesn’t run out of battery after 1 hour and can maybe handle some games like tft though it’s not a must.

I lost my Lenovo Tab Pen that came included when I bought my M11 tablet, can I buy the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus to replace it? I'm afraid it won't detect it since my tablet came with a pen included.

How do I remove the NVMe drive? (P360 thinkstation)
I been trying to figure this out for like a whole 2 hours of talking to different AIs or trying to find a video explaining it and nothing. It’s actually so frustrating, for context the black screw looking thing is not a screw, it’s actually plastic and it does not come off any way I try to move it. The metal holder thing does move a little bit but nothing helpful, if anybody has had trouble trying to take one of these off before please help!!!

Yoga Pro 7a battery life
I am looking for experience on battery life of yoga pro 7a with 388 max+ cpu and 86Wh battery.
I received my piece on Monday and niw it seems that it can keep on battery for only 4-5 hours. At 50% the notebook shows 2 to 2.5 hours left.
Lenovo advertise on the web with following specs:
Rapid Charge Express: 3 hours in 15 minutes
No detailed information on battery life more.
I can hardly believe that i get 60% charged in 15 minutes to keep it alive for another 3 hours.
Any suggestions or experience on that?
Besides that I am very happy, touch function is perfect even though I prefer mouse, screen, keyboard etc are great.

ThinkPad T480 Problem
ThinkPad T480 + MX150: GPU power suddenly drops from 20W to a few watts after ~10 minutes of gaming
Laptop specs
- Laptop: Lenovo ThinkPad T480
- CPU: Intel Core i7-8650U
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce MX150
- RAM: 16GB DDR4-2400 (single stick)
- Storage: M.2 NVMe SSD
- Power adapter: 65W, recognized by Lenovo Vantage
The problem
My MX150 used to perform normally, reaching around 1700 MHz and drawing approximately 20W at 100% GPU utilization while running Minecraft with shaders. I could get around 60 FPS at the beginning of a session.
However, after approximately 10 minutes, the GPU suddenly becomes severely power-limited. Its clock speed drops dramatically, FPS falls, and the GPU draws only a few watts despite remaining at or near 100% utilization.
This happens even though the laptop is plugged into a 65W adapter and the GPU temperature is not particularly high. I've observed the GPU being power-limited at around 63°C, so ordinary GPU thermal throttling doesn't seem to explain it.
What makes this strange?
I've noticed several things while monitoring the laptop:
- GPU: 100% utilization, but the core clock can fall to around 400 MHz and GPU rail power drops to only a few watts.
- GPU limit reason: HWiNFO reports "PWR".
- CPU: Its power consumption can fall to around 5W when the GPU starts throttling.
- Total system power: The OSD shows approximately 30W, despite the 65W adapter.
- GPU voltage: Around 0.7V during the low-clock state.
The CPU and GPU appear to change their power consumption together, which makes me suspect that something at the system firmware, embedded-controller, or power-management level might be involved. However, I don't know whether that is actually the cause.
An important detail: This is a sudden change from the GPU's previous behavior. It could draw around 20W and run at high clocks earlier in the same gaming session, but later it becomes heavily restricted. I'm trying to find out what causes that change, not simply how to improve the laptop's usual gaming performance.
What I've tried
- ThrottleStop: CPU PL1 set to 10W and PL2 to 15W, both unclamped.
- MSI Afterburner and RTSS: For monitoring clocks, utilization, and FPS.
- HWiNFO64: For monitoring GPU rail power, CPU package power, temperatures, and performance-limit reasons.
- Windows reinstall: Tried both Tiny11 and a fresh Windows 11 installation with the Chris Titus Tech Windows Utility.
- CPU power adjustments: Lowering CPU power limits did not eliminate the GPU problem.
- ASUS GPU Tweak: Tried changing the GPU temperature target, but it didn't solve the issue.
I have also checked the cooling behavior and previously addressed the laptop's thermal issues. The current GPU power drop still occurs at temperatures that don't appear high enough to explain such a severe reduction in performance.
What I'm trying to figure out
Can the T480's BIOS or embedded controller suddenly restrict the MX150's power consumption during sustained gaming?
Is there a known issue with the MX150's power management or firmware that causes it to drop from approximately 20W to only a few watts?
Could the laptop's power-adapter detection or shared CPU/GPU power management be responsible, even when the 65W adapter is recognized?
Is there a way to inspect or change the MX150's actual power limit on this laptop, beyond the CPU controls available in ThrottleStop?
Has anyone with the same T480 + i7-8650U + MX150 configuration encountered this exact behavior and found a confirmed solution?
I'm not looking for generic advice to reinstall Windows, lower CPU power limits, or use MSI Afterburner to change the power limit, since I've already tried the relevant approaches or found that the controls aren't available.
My main goal is to identify what is causing the sudden reduction in GPU power draw and restore its previous performance. I'd appreciate any relevant experiences, diagnostic methods, or confirmed fixes. Thanks!

The best Lenovo laptop in 2026?
Which Lenovo laptop would you say is the best to buy in 2026. I want one that’s less than $1,500 and have SD card and HDMI
The one I like is IdeaPad Pro 5 but it came out in 2024 so the specs not Intel Core Series 3, I see the IdeaPad Pro 5i but it don’t have SD card anymore and expensive.
Some people on Reddit said they left Dell, MSI for Lenovo and Asus so I want to try them for my next laptop. Do you have IdeaPad Pro 5 and does it get hot quick?
I need a laptop that can do video editing and it can't be slow. I need a good display as well

Not the best experience...
I’m at my wit's end trying to get a straight answer from phone support and hoping someone here or u/LenovoSupport can actually escalate this.
I ordered a powerbank on September 25th. I paid using $50 of my own money plus 80 Lenovo Rewards points.
Here is what has happened since:
Fake/Broken Tracking: I received an email with a link for "go2expeditors" on my mail and if I track it from lenovo's website it's taking me to CEVA logistics....The tracking number has never worked from day 1.
Delays: like I tried opening the link sometime first week oct, they changed the delivery date to fucking nov28. That's 2 months of shipping😭😭
Support Runaround: I have called phone support lowk like 6 times or maybe more about this. Every single time, the rep tells me to "wait 24-48 hours and you will receive a new tracking link." I never get one.
Escalation Failed: The last time I called, I finally got it escalated. The guy promised me a working link in one day. It has now been a week.
It is obvious this package was never actually handed over to the carrier or is lost. I just want my order man😭 or just have it cancelled , and my pennies and points back into my account. Phone support refuses to do anything but tell me to wait 48 hours for a link that doesn't exist.
u/LenovoSupport, please lmk who I can dm my order number to so we can finally get this resolved. I really really don't want to have to file a BBB complaint over a powerbank.
