I want to setup a series of stopping times such that the stick is covered iff all the stopping times have gone off. The stopping times should be along the lines of “point 0 was covered” which eg happens with .25 probability. Something like this would be the minimum of geometric random variables which could be found, but clearly this doesn’t work in the simple way I’m thinking.
