That E Flash was so fuckin' clean

that E Flash was the most impressive one by far considering u have only a couple of frames to flash when attempting that combo

doing that under pressure is wild

I don’t want to sound mean, but doesn’t this 1 v 1 look like Zaahen played literally everything perfectly, and Ksante got outplayed on everything and it was barely a win for the Zaahen?

Zaahen sidesteps a Q, gets his E (edge proc) every time, engages on his 6 level timer with I think 2 stacks on passive which gives him a little extra AD, flashes Ksante W, pops his red Adaptive pot at level 6, perfectly predicts / buffers Ksante flash Q with his ult for the damage reduction and healing and barely lives on one hp to kill the Ksante (also he dodges a Q3).

Ksante, misses several Qs and a critical Q3 at the end, gets his W flashed, presses R and just basically 1 v 1s him with autos and 2 Qs.

KSante uses his W to block empowered autos a few times. Both made good mechanical plays

Yeah but the threshold / difficulty of the play was way harder for zaahen than ksante. I listed 20 things he had to do this fight to win. Ksante just has to buffer the giga telegraphed Zaahen Q2.

Not to mention that predicting the timing of the ksante Q flash is incredibly hard, there’s virtually no wind up and he’s basically guessing based on ksante’s Q cd.

Yeah that's why it's crazy to opt into and impressive - they probably both know that kasante wins that and zaahen bets he can outplay. Still well played both sides, it's not like kasante shit the bed

Champs have different power spikes. It's absolutely the case that some champs completely stat check another no matter how perfectly you play your champ. That's why understanding matchups are important so you know when it's your timing to make a play because the numbers are in your favor.

Ksante is strong early game champ nowadays that hard fall off late and Zaheen is opposite (strong late game scale and weak early)

On lolalytic Zaheen starts 50% WR 0-15min then goes down 49% 15-20 and slowly WR goes up after until 55% at 40+min

Ksante starts 55% WR 0-15min down to 53% at 15-20 then hard fall to 47% WR from 20min (stays at 47% permanently after 20min)

Yes but that's what happens when a chihuahua takes a fight with a pitbull.

u/kx1global 20h ago

That's why a smart chihuahua drugs the pitbull with R ultimate first

>Zaahen played literally everything perfectly
>gets his E (edge proc) every time

he missed out on hitting outer edge E which deals extra 4% max hp magical damage, +20 more physical damage and has 75% bonus AD ratio compared to 50% of the inner E

Hitting it was guranteed since he knew K'Sante was going for the last hit on the minion to reach lvl 6

Thats exactly why this is impressive. Ksante SHOULD win this fight 100% of the time. It took several amazing actions from Zaahen to turn this fight.

You could say the correct thing to do is to NOT take this fight, but the Zaahen player either doesnt know the matchup well, or is supremely confident in his ability to dodge and outplay.

As a Ksante main it's really interesting to see how bad most Pro players are on him lol. Could have just hold on RW until Zaahen ults and then hit him guaranteed cause you know where he'll land

2

u/Swimming_Gain_4989 19h ago

You're not wrong, it's actually so grief to not just keep fighting with qs and es while Zaheen still has flash

1

u/xante777 13h ago

Yeah like I said most Pros are terrible at Ksante, at least since the last Rework. If you watch good OTPs like Sojoong, Kanain, Shourdy, Aatreus etc. you will see how bad the Pros are lol. Only Kiin and Zeus come to mind who are quite good on the Champ, but they are the GOATs of Toplane and pop off with everything they touch so that doesn't count

I know they can't afford to go super deep into every Champ cause they must be able to play a huge pool, but you would think at least Ksante who is easily a Top 3 Toplane Pro Staple for such a long time should be practiced intensely.

Off topic, but that splash screen or whatever to call it when they transition between shots is so stupid, it was even worse looking in the saudi tournament and it's still looks horrible

I hate that zaheen players in pro go grasp. I know it’s slightly better in lane but I feel like you need conqueror to be the late game demon zaheen is meant to be. I also feel like conqueror against ksante specifically would be better since the fights are pretty long.
