She's around 10 years old so most of her fur is turning white.. but she's still my baby no matter what! š
Edit: Thanks so much for all the compliments! I read a few comments to Daisy and she got the zoomies so I think that's her way of also saying thank you! :D

This is Burt and heās about to turn 1! Heās an amazing boy 90% of the time. In the last month he has gotten me or my husband up at 4am to go potty and 3/4 times he doesnāt actually go. He just wants to walk around and then come inside. (We are currently apartment people so we have to take him out. Hopefully not for long) the problem is that it usually takes around 20 mins, then another 10 to get him to settle down and go back to bed. I wake up at 6 every day so by the time I get back to sleep I have to turn around and wake up. I am getting BUURRNNNTT out. Weāve tried to leave him in his crate, weāve tried letting him stay out of the room, be in bed with us etc. but he just barks and barks and barks. We take him for daily walks, do lots of training and games to tire him out and he has a puzzle board. Iām thinking itās a combo of being an 11 month old lab + need to get his balls āļø off. I guess if you have advice please share or just encouragement that it will get better eventually.
Sincerely, a very sleepy dog mom

I adopted this 4 month old big baby from puppy yoga 2 weeks ago! The people who originally bred him sold all the other puppies, but dumped him at the local shelter because his ankle abnormally hyperextended. A rescue scooped him up pretty quickly and got him the physical therapy he needed. Now heās mine foreverš„° Iām also starting a career in canine physical therapy so Iāll be able to help him if future issues occurš The rescue told me heās a lab/golden retriever mix but I think heās a Lab/Pyrenees mix.

Daisy is now 90 pounds and 8 months old, and never does what she is told. Our house has transformed into a collection of dead teddy's and the white stuffing is everywhere! When we come home from work she will great us with a bone in her mouth and atleast one teddy. Her record is two teddy's and one bone. It's like a drawer of destruction. I wonder how big she will get

We got her at a year old, now sheās 11. I want another 10 years with her.
We started at running 5-8 miles a day and 10 hours a week training, now we are max 30 minute walks a day.
She is still bouncing off the walls in the morning for breakfast and dinner so she hasnāt run out of energy where it matters. She also loves her little brother, two peas in a pod.

My dog is 5 years old and he's a total mommy's boy. I found out I was pregnant a few months ago, and ever since the end of my first trimester, he has changed⦠heās more anxious, needy, and glued to my side.
What worries me is that about a month ago he stopped eating (he was on a cooked fresh food diet and loved it). From one day to the next, he just started rejecting it and won't eat it regardless of the recipe.
We did an ultrasound and blood work, and everything came back normal⦠the vet said he was probably just bored of the food and suggested switching to kibble, but he has never been a great kibble eater. I try mixing wet food or toppers with it, but he just licks off what he likes and leaves the kibble behind anyway. He picks at it here and there, but he's not eating as much as he should daily.
Does anyone have similar experiences to share? Everyone says it must be because of my pregnancy, but I'm scared we might be missing something.. What should we investigate further?
Thank you in advance!

As I stated up top I took my good friend Rocco to the vet earlier this week after he showed a lack of appetite and lack of energy. They called back today and said they found what the think to be tumors on his spleen and liver.
She also added that judging from his condition he doesnāt have long to live and treatment can be a shot in the dark at best. Since I live in a small town in Alaska we would have to travel to get him better care.
Iām considering bringing him to Wasilla Alaska where they have better vets for a second opinion?

My sister wants to make a little outfit for my Lab, so we had to take her measurements first.
But this girl has absolutely ZERO patience. š
Sheās standing there looking so done with everything, like weāve asked her to work a full-time job instead of just measuring her for a cute outfit. š
Girl, the outfit isnāt even made yet, and youāre already acting like weāve put you through so much.
Anyone elseās dog act like the tiniest inconvenience is a personal attack?

I'm looking for some advice as we've got a 4 month Lab puppy. She's a gorgeous bundle of fun but I'm not sure what advice people give in winter for labs? Will I need a coat as they've got shortish fur? or are they quite hardy weather wise.
For reference I'm based in England so winters don't get insanely cold but can be quite wet and windy.

I am curious to know how heavy your labs are. Rƶlli is 37 kg (approximately 81 lbs)
Vet said he is on the high end of the scale and shouldn't gain any more weight but that he is in great shape.
But I am constantly worried that he will gain too much because I know Labs are prone to obesity. He gets a lot of treats but he also gets tons of exercise so that's balancing it out pretty well so far
