I'm planning to return to Kolkata after 10-15 years when I'll be 45 and deemed "redundant" in my job. I don't think I'll have enough saved up to sustain myself post retirement from workforce. I don't even know if I'll have a job till 45 in my field. I need to keep working as long as I can. Right now, my dream job would be to work in a cafe or a library, but aesthetic cafés won't hire me when I'm 45 fr. I don't wanna do things which require me to interact a lot with people, like teaching, marketing, business etc. I just want a small job, not a blue-collar one because in India blue collar workers have no respect. Not glazing the West but this is not a country where a female janitor or carpenter can get their due respect in society, which Ig is not much to ask for?

What kinda jobs can I search for? What skills can I start building from now? Do contacts work? Should I start learning some language?

Edit: Can anyone also please suggest what jobs can I look for if I have to return by say 35?
