Hello, I don't see a point in introducing myself other than that I've previously listened to a lot of different music and found a liking for very long songs (especially post/prog rock), such as ones made by SWANS or BoH. But I also enjoy some different things like Electro, which of course made me a Justice fan. Im sure you all know of Flower in a Hurricane and so when it released I immediately gave it a listen. I, personally, enjoy it quite a lot. And after seeing King Gizz being one of the three listed names I actually have heard of previously I decided to listen to one of their albums. I have previously heard of Nonagon so I just decided to pick that one and holy fuck that album is basically made for me. Again, I love long songs and this entire album is basically a perfectly looping 40 minutes long song which means I can just listen to it for as long as I want without the sudden loop interrupting me

In any case, I also wanted to ask what next album should I listen to as I am obviously new to this band and yk, they have a lot of albums.

That's all. This is the best birthday gift ever. Thank you Gizz

It's so crisp and less compressed in my ear compared to vinyl or streaming.

The material of the cover is the same as Alien Metal's but with a much bigger booklet and 'dawn of eternal night' is the cherry on top!

As a CD Enthusiast, this is the definitive way!

So here's my thought. Justice got the opportunity to score the game, and they are clearly fans of both Tame Impala and King Gizzard. So with Tame Impala, they got a big marquee name who has credibility, and with King Gizzard, they have underground cred. And including both draws attention to not just the artists, but the Australian scene in general.

All the members of King Gizzard received composition and lyric credits for the song. Let's all be honest...I really don't hear King Gizzard in there anywhere, aside from *possibly* the "Money for Nothing" guitar riff.

My guess is that Stu sent some stems to Justice, and they used it/them *somewhere* in the song.

But more importantly, all six members received a songwriting credit for the trailer music for the biggest video game of all time. Not only does this draw in new fans for the band, but each member gets a pretty much perpetual income from the trailer/the game, and that is *HUGE* numbers.

I think it's a win/win all around, and it would seem that Justice respects them enough to give them both the name recognition and the ongoing royalties.

Regardless of the debate over drawing in new fans and the pluses and minuses that that entails, we should all agree that this is well-deserved.

Also, what's up with Nicholas Craig? They referenced this at one of the recent Aussie shows.

Such a great song, so many opportunities to play it.
I really hoped for one with the string of acoustic shows, or maybe with the full orchestra.
I’m beginning to think there’s something deeper, like they don’t like it.
And yet more and more music comes out, furthering the chances of it being played.
Maybe I just need to be patient, but not once?!

Gizzfest returns. Stay safe out there weirdos ✌️

I’ll start:
I can’t listen to Dragon without hearing “Al-pac-a Lips”

A mate has pulled out. I’m inside with an unused ticket.

Anyone want it? DM me. I’ll check back in 10 mins and send pdf to fist reply 🤘🏻

Handing these bad boys out both days :)

(Aswell as leftovers from Sydney and last year)

I rediscovered the Lithuania ’25 shows and it got me thinking about how cool some of these venues are.

What other Gizz shows should I check out where the venue itself elevates the experience?

I’ve been here since 11:30 hahahahaha 🥲 I think this may be a sign from the universe for my poster addiction. Just come for the music ya silly billy.

someone was handing out stickers and i though they are very cute, i got some but they are a bit crumpled and I wanted to post just for the odd chance a scan of them exists since the art is lovely

don’t mind my handwriting lmao

Wanted to share the tracklist for our Field of Vision 2026 box set! If you have our first FOV box, these are gonna look dope side by side :P

The set includes crazy evil rainbow vinyl, a hand-numbered rainbow mirror box, and a custom slipmat with Jason Galea’s artwork. The inner sleeves feature exclusive 35mm photos by Bob Greco, and there’s a huge bonus poster with bootleg art by Ernie Houk.

We’re also giving away a set over on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/Dejz1b4m_mu You can also scope a preview of one side of the poster, featuring Polaroids from the weekend.

I had a lot of fun making the first box and am beyond stoked to be cookin’ up Vol. II! Cheers!

I posted a few times expressing my impatience with FOVII hitting bandcamp. It only felt appropriate to follow up and express a love for this band that continues to grow by the day... the FOVII boot is insane...AND holy fuck... these Australian '25 shows are sooooo damn good too. The world is a really fucked up place in many ways right now, and King Gizz's incredible music and even more incredible generosity to share it with the masses is one of the bright spots in my day. What a legendary band...what legendary artists. And this community is fantastic too, (for the most part, that is). I can't wait to get to another show, but in the meantime I'll be grabbing merch and giving back where I can to support these wonderful gentlemen. Love to all you weirdos. 💚👽
