hey everyone Jax beach resident here, I dont know if this is even allowed in this subreddit but is there anyway anyone could meet me at a gas station and help me out with 5 or 10 bucks to put in my gas tank? I work out on hecksher so it’s a 25 mile drive and I am tapped completely out after paying my rent and my bills? I’m at a really low point right now and I never thought I would ever have to ask this. Currently looking to do some fishing first thing tomorrow morning with my 6 year old and me. I'm in World Golf Village but willing to make a drive to say maybe Jacksonville Beach that far north and go to maybe Palm Coast that far south. Looking to just maybe put our feet from the shore(?) and catch as big of fish as we can. I don't have a "fancy" fishing pole from Bass Pro Shop as I'm still trying to get the hang of it, and we just typically buy worms from Wal-Mart. Have caught some smaller fish at some of the ponds in communities. Any ideas what we can do? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

hey! so i havent lived in florida long but where i used to live, there were a lot of reptile-room businesses where you could pay a fee and hang out with some critters. giant millipedes, tarantulas, snakes, cool invertebrates and whatnot!

ive been trying to find a place like this in jacksonville but searching online gives me pretty much nothing and i havent found any smaller businesses that do stuff like this locally.
