Food Post Day one, I suppose
It was my only meal for October 17th, 2026. Been quite busy all day. I'm here to hold myself accountable.

What are your usual food goals during your eating window?
I need some tips so I can improve my eating habits. I am good at sticking to my window but not eat the best stuff which affects my progress.

Hello everyone,
I‘m 26F SW: 91.7 CW:71.9 GW:63
I started weight loss in January 2025, by November 2025 I was down to 68.5 (lowest I‘ve been on this journey) and then everything went south..
Somehow through Nov‘25 and Aug‘26 I gained 12kg back and sat at whopping 80Kg again.. this didn‘t happen very suddenly and most chunk happened from May-Aug where I gained 8kg out of 12.
In August I could already not look at myself and said that I would cut out any added sugars (especially because they were my biggest triggers) in September I got a horrible virus and now I continued a calorie deficit and intermittent fasting and am down to 71.9 hoping to somehow escape the 70‘s soon..
The issue is I have such a horrible food noice.. i‘m always hungry and constantly without energy, and I‘m very scared to regain the weight while eventually at some point finishing this calorie restriction.
Any advices? For people that lost/regained weight often, does this cycle ever stop?
Thank you

It has been some time since my last post so here's an update. After my holiday and gaining a bit, I picked it back up and now I'm getting close to the finish. It feels like it is going slower but the graph tells me a different story. I am at the point where I want to say OK this is good enough and it's getting harder to stay motivated.

Lost 1 lb this week, so down 6 lbs total. Glad I lost anything considering I had a stressful work week and slept poorly as a result. But still I managed to stick to my diet most days, except on Friday when I ate out. It was difficult to estimate my calories then but since it was Korean bbq I managed to eat mostly grilled meat and veggies, with some rice wine. I had a great time and at least it was all within my eating window so I decided not to break a sweat about it and went back to my routine the next day.
My overall take of this week: I should eat well but don’t need to force myself to finish my meal if I’m full some days. I’ll get to eat more another day and it will even out.
Also I’ve been feeling less pain and shortness of breath while walking so I’ve decided to walk a bigger round starting next week and see how it feels. I’ll try to go right after wake up while still fasting.
I’ve also noticed that I’m not that hungry at lunch anymore so I might expand my fast to 18:6 but I’ll see first how walking fasted affects my hunger. I don’t want to tweak too many things at once.

...how are you doing so far? I'm 41 and I've just restarted after several years off, a gallbladder removal and ADHD medication roulette hell. I know this will take longer than it did the first time around due to all the factors but I'm wondering what I could be looking at by Christmas. I'm starting out at 16:8 and eat around 1600-1800 cals. I'm more sedintary right now because exercise is just uncomfortable but with the cooler morning temps (finally) I'm planning to go for some morning walks. If you have any tips ticks or adjustments you think I should make for perimenopause, I'd love to hear them.
