Wholesome Kid makes fun of influencers
309
u/w1n5t0nM1k3y 14h ago
I wonder how many influencers realize they look ridiculous but continue doing it anyway because money.
51
u/mpgd 14h ago edited 11h ago
I too am ridiculous at work, nevertheless I keep doing so for the money.
Most influences know this, but the money keep flowing. Occasionally there are few dilusionals out there but it is the minority.

u/telescopeinmynose 13h ago
Ocasioaly there are few dilusionals out there
Clavicular?
I hate that I know that name
4
u/1arvest6 11h ago
Oh yeah, It's unfortunate that his autistic interest is "looksmaxing", he probably could've been a biologist and contributed to society instead of pouring more fuel on the fire
5
u/telescopeinmynose 10h ago
Sad, really. He seems quite dedicated to it. He could've put the same energy into anything else and he would've done fine. He's just destroying himself and tens of millions of kids

u/Small_Consequence_00 9h ago edited 9h ago
This is the same little girl that stuck about 20 maxi pads to her face to resemble a flower and sang "Petal" as her mother was in the background acting clueless....
They have multiple videos floating on the internet

Who's she trying to influence?
She's making content, it's not the same thing.
Influencers are content creators. Not all content creators are influencers though. And not all social media "celebrities" are influencers.
6
u/CamaroBlood 8h ago
Crazy how people that make the most sense get downvoted. I thought the same thing before I even saw your comment. Influencers are content creators, but not all content creators are influencers. That’s a valid statement. I’m sure both our comments are gonna get downvoted but I gave you an upvote.

They have already thrown away their dignity by the time they started filming themselves for social media. It takes a lot of courage to be an influencer after all.
If they still have shame left, they'll usually "film first, cringe later".

u/ForgotToCarryTheOne 8h ago
We have to keep in mind that we live in the age of the Kardashians. Famous for being famous.
6
u/cannotbelieve58 12h ago
Im not much better. I waste 5/7 days a week working and then I take only two days off to barely recover for the next week. A truly ridiculous way to live.

Fr. The 3, 4, 5 instead of 3, 2, 1 was flipping genius. A subtle humor of how dumb the influencers are lol.

The mom cracking up in the background is perfect

Kids are now mocking influences instead aspiring to become them. We have come full circle. Hopefully this means influencers will die out
18
u/MadEyeGemini 7h ago
Eh, mocking influencers while trying to be one themselves. We're getting meta with it
59
u/Rage_Blackout 15h ago
This girl was hilarious but also the progression of mom in the background from "What is she doing now?" to uncontrollable laughter really sells this too.
13
u/claudekennilol 7h ago
That's her role in these. Normally she just stays in the back and gives weird looks to the daughter but she lost it in this one and had to run off camera to laugh.

u/sociofobs 15h ago
I connect more with the supposed mom in the background, looking over her shoulder in disbelief and wondering how her parenting lead to this.
56
u/HeldDownTooLong 15h ago
If this was a put-on by the mom, she was amazing.
I think she legitimately didn’t know what the girl was doing and got tickled by how over the top and accurate her daughter was.
35
u/kingjaynl 14h ago
There are several videos with the mom in the background with matching outfits, so she is aware to some extent, but these videos are still amazing. Great vibes.

Ok honestly mom in the background not able to keep from laughing was the funniest part

It led to this by letting her young kid stream herself for the internet.

Stfu, you can’t orchestrate that level of funny. Other than being like ok review these ice cubes, I’m gonna be in the background acting appalled. That little girl is naturally funny.

great parenting obviously

u/Small_Consequence_00 9h ago
They do a bunch of videos together where the mom acts surprised in the background.
It's kind of their thing
23
u/Bakedpotato46 13h ago
This means momma taught her discernment and how to critically think. Good job parenting!

It's too bad she couldn't hold it together because that was a good routine.

I am extremely uncomfortable with kids on the internet. Social media is a drug we have chosen to poison ourselves with. Kind of like cigs in the 60s. But doesn’t mean we need to let kids known mind manipulating and also where abuse of kids are known to be common and encouraged because of big tech leadership…

Maybe future generations have a chance. Lets hope zoomers are just a fluke.

this reminds me of an old video by a young girl that became famous later for becoming the thing she was making fun of.

This was pretty awesome. For a young girl it's amazing stuff. I couldn't stop laughing. Damn she's got talent.

This is a stupid idea. My uncle very nearly died trying this when he was younger. Don’t do this.
11
u/mikemikemotorboat 7h ago
Bro your parents made up that story because you were annoying them with your crunching.
6
u/apexxin 12h ago
How did your uncle almost die chewing ice cubes? Don’t tell me choked, because that means he didn’t chew the ice cubes.
8
u/No_Blacksmith_2591 12h ago
The lethality is 100% for all people who come into contact with it.
10
u/low_amplitude 11h ago
Everyone who eats ice eventually dies.

u/dogemikka 13h ago
Honestly, the playful sarcasm that came from this “stupid idea” made it totally worth watching. The mother in the background losing it with laughter while her daughter played her part so well was the best part.
2
u/lovable_cube 10h ago
Not the first time I’ve seen one of her videos, mom was in the background of all. I think her reactions are half the point lol.

I love how mom lost her shit and whatever was in her mouth at "it tastes like...water!"

My teeth are sensitive to cold. The last time I chewed ice, I died twice. Learn from my death, don't do it!

Starting to wonder if mama is an influencer who acts like this and daughter is straight up mocking her. Would be so much better if so.
1
u/Small_Consequence_00 9h ago
Close.
These 2 have many videos together where the young girl is making the point in the front and her mother is in the back acting confused and surprised.

I absolutely want to know what the mum did to be able to raise a kid with an impeccable sense of humour like this!

u/Newreddituser8282 9h ago
The worst influencers are the ones who sit down, stare directly into the camera, and spend 20 minutes doing their makeup while talking about completely unrelated topics.
