Hi everyone!
Does anyone have ICAI study material for CA Intermediate – Advanced Accounting from the previous syllabus or attempts? If you have cleared the exam in the last 2–3 attempts and still have your books or notes, I would be really grateful if you could share them with me.
It would be a great help in my preparation.
If anyone has the material available, please DM me.

Hey guys, I had Commerce with Applied Maths in Classes 11th and 12th, and please bear with me.
I bought BB Virtuals’ regular batch in April but wasted time until June–July and ended up wasting my September attempt. Now, I’m aiming for January and really want to clear CA Foundation this time.
Here’s my current progress:
For Accounts, I’m planning to use one-shots for most chapters, except Final Accounts and Company Accounts, which I’ll cover through regular lectures. For QA, I’ll study easier chapters through one-shots and important, high-weightage chapters through regular lectures. For Economics, I’ll probably cover the remaining chapters through regular lectures.
I’m aiming to complete my syllabus by the end of November or, at the latest, the first week of December, so I can dedicate the remaining time to revision and question practice.
A little backstory: I joined offline coaching for the May 2026 attempt but realized in December that I couldn’t manage both CA Foundation and Class 12, so I left coaching and focused on my boards. I appeared for the May attempt without any preparation, just for the sake of attempting it, and scored 89 marks. I bought BB Virtuals in April but wasted time and ended up messing up my September attempt too.
I scored 88% in my Class 12 CBSE boards, so I’m not completely new to these subjects. I already know many concepts from school and coaching. My goal is to strengthen what I already know and focus on understanding the new concepts in CA Foundation that weren’t covered in Class 12, rather than treating everything as completely new.
Honestly, my main goal is to pass in January, but I’d love to score well if possible.
What would you suggest I do differently? Is my one-shot strategy practical, considering my background? How should I prioritize chapters, revision and question practice to complete the syllabus on time and maximize my chances of clearing the exam?
Thank You in Advance would love your suggestions!

I keep coming across different CA Final study plans, and every time I see one that sounds better than mine, I feel like changing my approach. One person swears by multiple revisions, another focuses on question practice, and someone else follows a completely different routine.
At some point, you can't keep restarting your preparation just because someone else's method sounds more effective. How do you decide when your current plan needs changing and when you should just stick with it?

Hey guys, how's your preparation going so far? I've been feeling quite directionless lately, struggling to focus and getting carried away by self doubt. Is there any study group for CA Final May 2027 aspirants?

Sometimes while solving case-study questions, I find that two different sections seem to apply to the same situation, and I get confused about which one to use in the answer. Do you guys first identify the main issue in the case and then match the relevant provision, or is there a better way to approach these questions?

Hey! I'm looking for some guidance on how to tackle Forex as it's so vast yet extremely important. I'm struggling to get a good grasp of it. My attempt is May 27.
Those who have qualified or are currently preparing for it, I'd love to hear your tips and advice! :)

Guys can someone confirm effective hours of Praveen Khatod costing lectures? It says 175 hours, which is considerably less than competes. So want to understand coverage.
If someone has lecture schedule/list, please share.
Thanks

Guys how do y'all study at home....no matter how many plans i schedule....no matter how many times I restart
Disturbances keep coming..there is some or the other thing happening and parents expect me to participate in festivals, and the festivals aren't something that happens once a yr or once in a month ..there is some thing happening in my house every week...plus it takes 2-3 days for imp festivals....which i clearly have no interest to involve in but I am forced to be thr....
Plus there are other disturbances apart from these festivals and stuff...i find it really draining...
I everytime come up with some new schedules to study and a better way to study and am able to implement it untll I get another disturbance...it breaks my entire flow...even If I think I shouldn't bother the flow is broken...i should keep continuing ...am not able to do it bcz things are happening like every 3 days on an average....not some monthly once or twice.....
Somehow i try to gather courage and try to put my everything while studying....on top of these when these barriers are thr... it's draining me a lot.....And since I am having recorded classes they are taking advantage of this to take my time in btwn...no matter how many boundaries I create it's still happening
In fact after creating strict boundaries they have reduced a lot of stuffs they asked me to do that demands my time...but there are some things over which they still have control and my boundaries don't work at all thr
And am a person who do not want to keep extending my attempts...I want to give my full in one attempt and if i don't pass in one attempt after giving my full...then I am ready to extend....but definitely not due to the disturbances ...but there are unavoidable...wt do I do😭😭
Is anyone studying in such a situation...how r guys u able to study?...pls help 😭😭

I want to understand what kinds of jobs a CA can actually do after qualifying, apart from the traditional accounting and auditing roles.
What are the different career fields available to a CA, such as Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Taxation, FP&A, Financial Controlling, Investment Banking, Consulting, and Corporate Finance?
What kind of work does a CA do in each of these fields?
Can a CA move from one field to another after gaining 2–3 years of experience?
Which fields offer good salary growth and long-term career opportunities?
Do multinational companies and foreign banks hire CAs for roles beyond accounting and auditing?
I'd especially appreciate answers from qualified CAs who can share their experiences and explain which career paths are worth exploring.
Thanks in advance!
