I know they’re just halo 3 art design but dam do they look beautiful, the wear and tear look and slight alterations really stand on its own and as a honest tribute, I love it.

Hey, guys! I’m back with another WIP, and I’ve got a question for you all.

I’m still undecided on which opening mechanism to use for the hangar bay doors. I really like how clean the ship looks from the outside when the doors open inward, but obviously, they take up space inside the hangar. Even so, there’s still enough room for a Pelican to fit.

So, what do you guys think? Should the doors open inward or outward? Or maybe a combination of both, like the setup on Hangar Bay 4?
I think opening outward would obviously be the most practical option, but I can’t deny how good those doors look when they open inward. Or maybe I could just keep all three options viable and have the opening method depend on the situation.

I would personally like a Spin off FPS Halo Game set during the Harvest Campaign. It seemed so interesting in Halo Wars and I would really enjoy seeing the early human Covenant War in a mainline Halo Game.

Here a little update of my halo book list since Parasite Wake. The 35 books in the chronogical order by arranging them by time period. Some of them, like Fall of Reach and Broken Circle, extend over several periods, so I separated them as part 1 and 2

For the last books during the Created Uprising, here a little resume of the chronological events :

- Bad Blood and Legacy of Onyx : the direct consequences of the Created Uprising just after Halo 5

- Shadow of Reach : Blue team on Reach against the Banished to recover Halsey brain (Atriox came back to the Arch and the Keepers and the the Furret follow him)

- Divine Wind : the Keepers and the the Furret on the Ark

- Outcast : the Arbiter and Vale on Netherop

- Epitath : the Cortana death events in the Domain

- Empty Throne : the Cortana death events in the galaxy

- Rubicon Protocol : Between Cortana death and the Master Chief wake up at Halo Infinite begin

- Edge of Dawn : Literally just after Halo Infinite end

I'm curious to know how many of them you read ? I also really wonder who read Halo books ? Are you Halo gamers or sci-fi readers ?

There’s an issue with the lore and with some fans who I don't think quite understand it yet.

One thing that’s been bugging me is that a small part of the audience seems to think the Banished are basically an idealistic political force whose ultimate goal is peace. Seriously, there's actually a portion of the fanbase that believes this. I mean, where are they even getting this from? For example, I have a friend who literally said that Atriox’s philosophy—and everything the Brutes went through because of Cortana—brings them closer to being worthy of the Mantle of Responsibility. I was just like, wait, what?

The Brutes literally still allow the processing and eating of humans. Anyone who played Infinite and listened to the audio logs knows exactly what I’m talking about, where they separate the humans who will be eaten from those who won't. Anyone who’s read the books knows things are even worse.

On top of that, there are fans who think the Sangheili could assume the Mantle. Man, they literally used to let the lower-tier troops eat people in battle and didn't care at all. Not to mention their blind obedience at all costs. Even if they've changed now, that doesn't wipe away the stain—just seven years ago, they literally let the Unggoy and Kig-Yar go wild on people on the battlefield.

Another part of the story that bothers me is Buck calling the Elites 'comrades,' when he’s from Draco III. Anyone who knows a bit of history knows full well what happened on that planet.

Anyway, what do you guys think about this? Where do you think this comes from—people ignoring the story and believing that a single heroic act erases a race's past sins? Even the Librarian, who literally did everything to save all life in the galaxy, didn't have her species spared from the Flood and the judgment of the Precursors, let alone a lesser species like the Brutes, whose primary role right now is basically pillaging.

Do you think people's passion for certain characters makes them lose sight of the big picture? Like with many Arbiter fans, who forget that he must have killed between 1 to 5 billion people, making him, according to the game’s lore, easily one of the top 10 greatest genocidaires.

Anyway, I’m asking you this because I have friends who are fans of various characters—I’m a fan too, especially of characters like the Arbiter—but I know how to separate my personal fondness from the actual narrative and the context in which these characters appear. I’ve noticed that many people become so enamored with characters like Atriox—elevating them to such a high pedestal—that they completely overlook the actions those characters commit in the present. I mean, seriously, do you know people like that—people who go so far as to claim that the Brutes should have held the Mantle of Responsibility?

Ahoy, I've been thinking of creating some spooky content and realized Halo doesn't have a lot of horror or ARG content compared to other IPs. I've not really got a plot down other than a general idea of "There's something spooky on red team that's hunting the protag."

I've got a video linked that's pretty much entirely unedited footage of the MC looking around for a player on red team who is impossible to find.

It's not very interesting, though I'm working on editing and coordinating with friends to maybe work on this together.

That is to say, would people here be interested in a Halo ARG? Is that a kind of medium you think is missing? Also, if you have any ideas I'd love to consider them.

I want to hear what you think are the most overrated/underrated/unique maps in all of Halo

For me personally:

Overrated:

Hang 'em high

I know its considered to be one of the staples of halo ce but I believe the map is just too open you can barely navigate much of the map without getting ganged up on by 2 or 3 people sniping you across the map with pistols since the cover is limited

Underrated:

Foundation

I never see people mention foundation as one of their faves from halo 2 i understand you have lockout, ascension, midship, etc but to me its in my top 5 halo 2 maps Foundation is always a blast to play it is a simple symmetrical map but it never gets old

Unique:

Chiron

I would love a remake of chiron in the next halo game or a similiar type map with many teleporters it just makes for absolute mayhem especially for shwatguns

As the title says, I bought on Steam the Halo Master Chief Collection, but Halo 3, ODST, Reach and Halo 4 are not installed. I went and downloaded inside the game didn't work. Trying via Steam also didn't work. Steam's integrity check doesn't find anything wrong.

So now I'm here, does someone know how to fix it?

I can talk in any other game chat except halo infinite. Am i banned from talking or is there a setting i need to fix?

I just bought the mcc for me and my friend but for whatever reason he can see the store page at the bottom but I cant. He can invite me and I see the invite pop up on the game bar not in game but when I click join nothing happens. I bought the game on steam and we both have good pcs and are on windows 11. Does anyone know how to fix this issue so we can play together?

i wanted to try the open ce project on my 17 year old hp office pc but when i got it set up it was just a black screen with only the music playing. Anyone know how to get this working?
