Large-scale raid underway at Sennoy Market in St. Petersburg
Hundreds of security officers, along with police vans, have cordoned off the area around the market. Foreigners are being checked for documents in places of worship, nearby hostels, and ethnic cafes.
Military recruitment officers are also involved in the raid. They are searching for men who have recently acquired Russian citizenship but have not yet registered for military service. Summonses have already been issued to several dozen people.

Ural Man Sent Back to the Front Lines After Injury, Still in Diapers
A taxi driver from Yekaterinburg was sentenced to six years in prison before the war for a drunk driving accident that killed his passenger. In 2022, the remainder of Viktor's sentence was replaced with forced labor. In 2024, he arrived for his work shift drunk and was again behind bars, where he signed a contract to join the military.
During his service, the man suffered severe injuries to his shins, thighs, and buttocks. He is currently unable to move independently or use the toilet, and shrapnel remains in his body.
"I walk with two crutches, and I constantly wear diapers because I can't urinate on my own. I have weakness in my legs, constant pain in my lower back and shins, and shooting pains when I try to sit down," Viktor said.
In May, the serviceman underwent a medical examination at the military hospital and was given category "D," which typically indicates unfitness for service. However, a higher military medical commission from the Ministry of Defense overturned this decision and sent Viktor for a re-examination, concluding that diapers are a "hygiene product" and not an impediment to military service.
"Significant impairment of pelvic organ function requires the need for care in the form of a permanent functional epicytostomy, while diapers are more of a hygiene product," the conclusion stated.
As a result, the re-examination was not conducted, and his category was changed to "limitedly fit," after which he was sent to the combat zone. Before leaving, the man filed a complaint with the military prosecutor's office and contacted a lawyer who is trying to resolve the situation legally.
While we've seen soldiers on crutches in recent years, assaults while wearing diapers are something new. No one is better at discrediting and humiliating the army than the Ministry of Defense itself.
