I was homeless last year, now I have my own house a nice job and enough Media to entertain my whole family. Life can change so fast. Just gotta keep pushing forward.

Is sharing the experience with others! (Even if it is the frustrating chaos of 4 player Nightmare on Elm Street)

Picked this up from Kijiji - no manuals for the system unfortunately, but has all the games, connectors, and even a leather carrying case for everything.
I tried to buy one about 10 years ago but timing didn't work out, so its satisfying to finally get my hands on one of these weirdo systems.
It pairs nicely with my boxed Nomad as well.

Super happy this is a two player unlike the other recently released Bluey game. My 3 year old is always eager to join and watch me while I’m gaming. It’s a lot more fun to help him learn how to play since my parents didn’t have the patience to learn and teach me. My husband & I met while playing Call of Duty Ghosts so it’s always a joy to share the family love for video games with him ❤️

Still collecting harder than ever!
Yes, we do play our games. Not as much as I would like, but the plan is to complete every storyline.
Perhaps I will attempt to platinum what I can, but the main goal is to preserve them as best as possible and play them throughout the rest of my life.
Missing lots of gems I still need to look for.
Kinda hard to spend so much so fast and keep going, but I fully believe prices will eventually never go down, only up.
I love our backlog. Anything that is out of place (pulled forward), has been purchased after August 1st. I waited a month to get going, I contemplated the entire time. The announcement from Sony is saddening.
I wish I had a better camera, it does zero justice to my collection! 🥲

My friend loaned me 2 and 4, and I absolutely LOVED them. The best part is that I can get these games new for around $30 each (besides requiem. Can’t afford that one yet lmao)

GameStop and Babbages preyed on my need for new games back in the day. This is all that’s left.

I think a loose Legaia is $60+, if price matters to you.

Saw some dude that had his limited edition controllers displayed in an acrylic box and pinned to a wall. Any ideas of where to buy one of those?

Hello, usually using doesitplay to know if a game is playable offline but it does only have insights on the PS5 version (security prompt to go online to play first time, but if you reboot your're free to continue).
I'm collecting all Star Wars Video games, so not planning on playing this one soon but I don't want to take the wrong version either if I endup playing it with kids for some reason down the line.
So any inputs from people having play it is welcomed as to wether or not the switch version can be played without internet / serve / eshop etc.
Thanks for ready.

Been torn about buying games from other countries even when it would be cheaper than to buy from my own country.

I ask because I’ve been criticized for collecting retro games, but consider this: there are people who collect movies on DVD or VHS, music records, manga, or anime and superhero figures and no one says anything to them.
