OneUI 9.0 released in Czech republic
As the main title says it launched here in Czech Republic.
I'm scared a little bit from what I've read so far.

It looks like the OneUI 6 + Android 14 update is starting to roll out to some users. Keep discussion related to receiving the update to this thread to avoid spamming the subreddit. Discussion regarding new features can be posted normally, just try to make sure you're not posting something that's already been posted.
You get your updates based on the region your phone is configured to, not the region you're currently located. For most people, this will be the country they bought the phone in, or the carrier they bought it through if you're in the US. When discussing an update rolling out for your phone, make sure you note what region and carrier you bought it from to avoid any confusion.
Some GoodLock modules may not have been updated to support OneUI 6 yet. If you can't live without a module, make sure it's been updated before updating your phone.
I have inbox replies disabled. If you want to add a region to the list, comment on this post with the region you want to add, then reply to your own comment with “u/dahliamma” (just the text, the hyperlink is created automatically). I will not get a notification if you tag me in a top-level reply directly to this post, I only get notifications when tagged in a reply to a comment.
Make sure your comment includes the region your phone is configured to (see note above). If you know your CSC, please note that in your comment as well.

Atualizei meu s23 hoje pra One UI 9 e fiquei decepcionado.
Tudo precisa configurar, tudo precisa personalizar.

(obs: SEMPRE cuidei do carregador.)

After using the phone very carefully and ensuring the software update(s) are done right infront of an AC, I happened to get the green line today.
The phone shut down as the battery was ‘0’. I put the phone for charging and the moment I turned it ON there it was ! 😒
With the fear of heating and not so useful feature updates I didn’t even update the phone beyond 8.0 in last one year; yet this happened today. No physical damage either.
I am just 3 months away from the phone turning 3 years. Just wanted to know if the free ONE TIME SCREEN REPLACEMENT program is still valid and how much time do they take to fix it? I was thinking to get the battery replaced as well while they open the device (current health is 83%).
P. S.: I have the invoice of the phone and purchased in India itself.

Still no One UI 9 for s23 Non beta users in India. I hate samsung for this. Its not that i am dying for the update but it actually shows the professionalism of samsung. Late OS updates. Have to hand it to apple atleast they ship ios to everyone at the same time. Never buying scamsung again man.

Hey all,
I was trying to disable some features on my phone in the galaxi ai settings. I accidentally pressed download transcript assist, after which my phones screen immediately turned back and then flashed staticy green all over my screen. I hit the lock screen button in a panic and it stopped.
It seemed to be resolved but just now when I tried to unlock my phone, the screen turned black and just the top part of my screen got the staticy green flashing, and then it stopped allowing me to use my phone as normal.
Does anyone have any idea what that might be and how to resolve it?

If you have a claude subscription, try to enable developer menu in your phone, then turn on usb debug and wireless debug in it. And ask claude to connect to your phone and remove unnecessary services, trackers and optimize everything, you'll be surprised how faster you phone will be.
For example if you have an amazon app, it also has an invisible app, that runs in the background to send you spam notifications.
P.S. works with android smart TVs too

It may just be me, but my phone seems dimmer after the update. Brightness is all the way up but it just seems noticeably dimmer now. Anyone else having this issue?

I was getting a horrible 2.5%/h drain on standby and managed to get it down to 0.8%/h using BBS reloaded to find the culprits.
Hope this can help someone else having similar problems.

I got a green line in my s23 , it started with a single green line a month ago and have 3 lines. Its devastating and reached a samsung service center, they said, they have to perform 2 hours of lab test to decide if free change or paid change. Also, they highlighted, if any small rust or water footprint then no chance of free replacement. The paid cost is around INR15K.
Also, the battery health is not good, every day, I have to charge multiple times.
I have decided to move out of samsung and purchase a oneplus or ios phone.
Any experience of green line issue and solution?
Age of phone :2.6years

My S23 is about 2.5 years old and still works great, but I'd like to hear some recommendations in case I decide to upgrade.
I really like compact phones, and iOS is completely out of the question for me. I want to stick with Android.
I believe the newer Samsung models come with Exynos chips, but I'm not entirely sure.
I'm also ruling out the S24–S26 because, to me, they're basically more of the same compared to the S23.
What about the base S27? Do you think it'll still be compact? I guess we'll have to wait and see if it's actually worth upgrading to.
What would you guys recommend?

I think the S23 was the best compact phone of its year; even today, I consider it an excellent device. However, I’ve recently started experiencing some issues with the battery.
Ever since I’ve owned this phone, once it hits 5% battery, it lasts for less than a minute—and I’m not exaggerating. I’ve mostly ignored this, as I just rush to find a charger.
Lately, though, other problems have cropped up. When the battery drops to 12% or lower, the phone slows down, and as it gets even lower—around 5%—it becomes practically UNUSABLE. It gets incredibly sluggish: the camera won’t open, or the interface just freezes, and the performance becomes worse than that of an entry-level device. Today, when it reached 5%, the screen started flickering while I was typing, eventually going completely black—though the phone itself remained active. Also, the other day, while I was taking photos (with about 30% battery left), the device started lagging and eventually shut down, showing 0% charge.

It takes around 1.5 hours to fully charge from 20 percent. I bought my S23 in nov 2024.

Is that possible in the oneui 8.5 for galaxy s23? I don't really like the music to be on the now bar. I want it to be front and centre as a notification as it was before. Any way I can do that!
