The inevitable actor
Inevitably, a movie will be made about the most important architect since Christopher Wren. His disjointed childhood, his poverty, his need to disguise his financial problems, Louis Sullivan, and the obvious Taliesin.
My bid goes to Paul Dano.

Still Bend
This is arguably the perfect house. You can debate about the proximity to neighbors, or the lot size, but the Schwartz House is a masterful blend of Wingspread and the Gordon House. A real dream home.

Looking for Historic Photos of Frank Lloyd Wright Art Glass Windows Recently found panels
UPDATE: This window was also found with the panels. Size is 18 x 15. I recently found this in an estate in the Waukesha / Milwaukee area.*
I’m trying to identify the exact Frank Lloyd Wright home/building these two original art-glass panels came from.
I know the panels came from a Frank Lloyd Wright property, and I’m hoping someone may recognize the design from historic photographs, architectural drawings, museum records, or old documentation.
Each panel measures approximately 8 inches × 44 inches and features clear/textured glass with amber/gold sections and small red and green geometric accents.
They were found in the Waukesha-area of southeastern Wisconsin.
I’ve been researching several demolished Wright properties, including the Arthur R. Munkwitz Duplex Apartments in Milwaukee and the Lake Geneva Hotel, but I have not yet found a historic photograph showing this exact window pattern.
What I’m really looking for is:
- Historic interior or exterior photos showing these exact windows
- Architectural drawings or window schedules
- Museum/archive records
- Photos taken before demolition or remodeling
- Information about salvaged Wright art glass from Wisconsin properties
If anyone recognizes the pattern or has access to old Frank Lloyd Wright photographs or archives, I would greatly appreciate any leads.
Photos of the two panels are attached.
Thank you!
