"Boys of the Blue Hill" (Solo Mandolin)
A quick acoustic snapshot of a classic Irish hornpipe, recorded live with zero studio tricks.
The goal: showcase the dynamic drive of unamplified acoustic playing and the natural swing of traditional plucked strings.

White ‘64 Tempest
open.spotify.com“A deeply reflective acoustic-driven folk track that wraps the listener in a melancholic late-night atmosphere. With its raw, weary vocals and intimate storytelling, it’s a snapshot of one’s young ambition hitting reality”

"Boys of the Blue Hill" on solo acoustic mandolin.
Here is a quick take on the classic Irish hornpipe "Boys of the Blue Hill" on solo acoustic mandolin.
Recorded raw with no pickups or amplification—just the natural acoustic resonance and wooden tone of the instrument. I’m focusing on clean plectrum articulation and keeping that hornpipe bounce steady.

Ghostly Hare - "Anhedonia" (Official Video)
youtu.beThe music video draws inspiration from the traditional folktale The White Hare. Ghostly Hare mirrors this myth of transformation, reimagining the hare not just as a symbol of grief, but as a vessel for reclaiming power.
Ghostly Hare makes folkgaze music that highlights warm, atmospheric sounds with rich chamber echoes. They combine the dreamy textures of shoegaze with storytelling elements from dark folk, along with the simple instrumentation of chamber pop. Inspired by dark and introspective themes from doom and blackened genres, the artist embraces a DIY spirit and a love for folklore. Their music invites listeners into immersive, cinematic worlds full of detail and emotion.

[Indie] Charge of the light brigade, 1845
The Charge of the Light Brigade was a disastrous British cavalry assault during the Battle of Balaclava on October 25, 1854, in the Crimean War.
The Mistake: Due to unclear and misunderstood orders from commander Lord Raglan, about 670 British light cavalrymen were sent charging straight down a narrow valley directly into a well-prepared Russian artillery battery instead of a different, intended target.
My written words dropped into Suno.
ENJOY!

black mountain rag
First brought to prominence by fiddler Arthur Smith and later cemented in the traditional canon by Doc Watson, this piece demands relentless rhythmic drive, precise syncopation, and clean plectrum control.
The core artistic principle remains uncompromising: 100% acoustic and unamplified. No pickups and no synthetic processing—allowing the natural attack of the pick, the harmonic resonance of aged tonewood, and the organic breathing room of steel strings to speak for themselves.
