On xbox 360 btw

Hey everyone, currently on a Hard playthrough. I’ve read a lot of good things about the Combat Shotgun and most FO3 players swear by it.

I even got the Terrible shotgun and I keep it repaired at full condition nearly all the time.

Despite running a sneak/small guns setup with fairly high luck, I just don’t find the terrible shotgun very effective.

Half the time it doesn’t do much damage at all on the first shot, despite showing a high damage in pip boy, even to low HP enemies. And it took like 6 shots to take down a Super Mutant Brute. It’s not particularly fast I find.

I will say that when you take off a head with it it’s very satisfying.

But I just never see an instance where the Lincoln’s Repeater, Flamer or Xualong Assault Rife isn’t a better choice to kill an enemy quicker. Even in close quarters combat. Maybe it’s just not my cup of tea haha.

Am I missing something, does it need to be paired with a certain perk?

I'm planning a Fallout 3 inspired painting. I'm painting a still life piece, and am trying to think of items to use. My goal is iconic or fun items from fallout 3. I'm not necessarily looking for weapons, so my research has been difficult, and I need help.

What are your favorite (smaller) collectibles in fallout 3? Do you have favorites from the DLCs?

For some reason they just know that there are raiders to fight outside! I heard sneaking can have the same effect but haven't tried.

I looted a container in Mothership Zeta and Paladin Hoss appeared out of nowhere. I followed him to the beginning of the level and he took the (still powered-down) teleportation matrix to Biological Research. I wonder if I'll find him there.

Hi there will be a lil description of the events that’s lead up to the glitch and then the glitch at the end.
You need lawbringer, and dogmeat and a weapon to reverse pickpocket onto senora with some ammo, 1 round will be enough. And a weapon to knock senora unconscious, I suggest the sniper in the rock by megaton.

1. Dogmeat is companion

2. Enter regulator HQ

3. Reverse pickpocket senora the weapon and ammo and also pick pocket away her ammo for her 10MM

4. Leave and wait 8 hours

5. Pick up all the weapons in the HQ, I suggest using dogmeat as there is almost 13 items to grab

6. Kill the regulators (if she goes outside it’s fine)

7. Pickup the weapons from the dead regulators,

8. Knock out senora while being near the entrance and then send dogmeat to collect a weapon, since she is knocked out dogmeat can target her 10MM but normally can’t collect it

9. Quickly enter or exit the HQ depending on if you are outside or inside

10. Wait 45 seconds.

11. If dogmeat hasn’t come back to you go back to the location he and senora are in and wait for dogmeat to come to you.

12. You should now have the strongest weapon in the game!

Context: I traversed through the second half of this DLC on my own since my own squad crashed my game, and when I got to the listening post, I mowed down the soldiers, and immediately noticed that one of them was just going along, business as usual. Odd, but funny.

I got to the rotunda, but Sydney basically bit the bullet immediately and I didn’t get the password from her for the terminal. I thought it was no biggie so didn’t worry about going to previous save, and the last one I had was a ways back, but now I can’t figure out how to get to the archives basement? Any one know the way to get down? The wiki says there is way to just skip Sydney entirely so I figure their must be one.

Guys you might not believe me but I actually found a way you can get general jingwei hat with using console commands and guys I’m not joking what you need to do is you need to do the storage dial option glitch yo know the glitch that lets you open a specific inventory on a npc you do it on the t51 power armor solider with the flamer before he runs on the field and you get his armor and weapons you gotta pick pick pocket the t 51 power armor helm onto jingwei and then once you leave the fact you’ll see he’s wearing the power armor helmet and follo general jingwei back to the factory and crouch and spam a you’ll be able to open his inventory and steal his hat without console commands or mods like seriously I will post a video about how to do it

I kept the cap of every commissioned officer I found in these camps.

I made 50,000 Caps in profit from selling their arms and armor.

So for some context I have been replaying fallout 3 and just started mothership zeta again and near the end of the steamworks before you get to the engine core for the first time paladin Hoss spawns on my location runs into some turrets and dies. So two questions one will this effective my game back in the capital wasteland and has this happened to anyone else
