Episode Info

He was so intelligent and genuinely endearing. I loved how passionate he was about science, how excited he got over the smallest things, and how his intelligence never took away from his awkward, dorky personality. He was a genuinely good person who wanted to help people, and you could tell how much being the Flash meant to him.

I also feel like Barry lost some of his intelligence as the seasons went on, which is disappointing considering how much his scientific knowledge and skills were part of his character in the beginning. Early seasons Barry was a forensic scientist who could think critically, analyze evidence, solve complicated problems, and apply his scientific knowledge to situations other people wouldn't even know how to approach. He wasn't just fast because of his powers. He was smart, resourceful, and genuinely brilliant in his own right.

Honestly, it's hard to imagine the later seasons' version of Barry creating something like Gideon. Early seasons Barry had the curiosity, scientific knowledge, and technical ability that made an invention like that feel believable for his character. Later Barry sometimes feels like he's lost that side of himself, and I miss seeing him use his intelligence to solve problems instead of having so many solutions handed to him or relying on other characters to figure things out.

I miss when Barry felt like a forensic scientist who happened to become a superhero, rather than someone whose entire character revolved around being the Flash. His intelligence was such an important part of what made him Barry Allen, and I wish the show had done a better job of maintaining that throughout its run.

Yeah you are cooked.

Please explain the whole Zoom/Jay thing in season 2 and was the remnant the “Jay” Barry and the team was with most of season 2 or was the actual Hunter Zolomon playing Jay for some of it?

For those who forgot, this was Mirror Monarch's husband.

In a world filled with metas and speedsters, I was kinda hoping for a non-meta running a conspiracy to be a bit more... more. Dude really managed to run 3 light metas and whatnot only to be taken over by his back-from-the-dead wife.

how fast is barry really is in the cw? and is ezra flash's faster?

Is it just me or has the reverse flash costume always been cooler than the flash's?

STAY WITH ME NOW.

the ability to control anyone just by putting some of his blood in another person, the abilities he had, and how ruthless he was. he could’ve taken on flash and the entire team if they weren’t protected by the “power of love” nonsense

The ring isn’t the right size of my finger

I’m in the 10th episode of first season of flash (so please no spoilers for the tv show) and since this version of Flash has super metabolism (having to eat alot, can’t get drunk, etc.) should’t he have to breathe an insane amount of air? Like wouldn’t he breathe out all the air from a normal room within moments? Is there an explanation or is it just an unimportant incosistency?

If savatar actually killed Iris, do you think the speedforce would appear as her in later seasons?

I really like speedsters when they cover their mouth. Mask makes them look so cool

These two versions of Flash and Reverse Flash are my favorite suits.

If you were Barry and Team Flash would you let Thawne die or try to save him in “Armageddon Pt. 5”?? And why for each

Wife watching with me on this current rewatch for the first time and she couldn't stop laughing.

Cisco kills man.

Carter hall/ hawkman was so unlikeable 😂

Just rewatching the arrow verse. On season 1 of the flash and I forgot how lax the security at starlabs was. How anyone could just walk right in
