Unofficial Tool MuffinMetrics 1.3.5 is live! Ranged Full Combat, Quick Draw & FFXI Resource Catalog
Hey everyone!
MuffinMetrics 1.3.5 is live! This update adds timed ranged combat for supported Ranger and Corsair setups, damaging elemental Quick Draw, and a new FFXI Resource Catalog.

Ranged Full Combat
You can now compare supported setups over a timed run, using separate Action Skill and TP & Ranged gear sets. Results include damage, hit chance, TP, shots fired, ammunition consumption after Recycle, and run history.
Choose a weaponskill OR a supported damaging job ability, alongside melee OR ranged attacks. Quick Draw and weaponskills are separate choices in this version, so they do not run together. Supported buff JAs can use the Use JAs on CD setting, so that the JA keeps being activated through your timed combat session. (I did limit the maximum time per session to 30-minutes)
Quick Draw
Damaging elemental shots account for recovering charges, action time, and TP, with unlimited cards assumed.
One important limitation: Quick Draw currently assumes 100% full, unresisted hits. I’m still testing the accuracy and resistance behavior, and I’ve kept the existing formulas available for that work. For now, treat the QD results as a full-hit damage estimate rather than a prediction of your actual resist rate.
FFXI Resource Catalog
Added at the community’s request, this brings together 88 resources across 10 categories, with official sources first. Calculators, gear planners, timers, trackers, maps, references, and more.
These link to the original tools and sites. We are not hosting their downloads or offering paid placement. Resource owners can email [support@hapamuffinstudio.com](mailto:support@hapamuffinstudio.com) to request removal or a description change.
The open tooltip in the screenshot shows how update-status information is explained. An unverified update does not mean a tool is unsafe or inaccurate. It means I couldn’t verify a 2026 update for that resource. It does not mean the project is abandoned.
There are also smaller improvements, including the Besieged checkbox,
a more visible Ambu cape button, and closing the ranged-distance chart by clicking outside it.

The combat screenshots are an example setup, not a recommended build. The TP graph shows averages across 1,000 simulated runs. (Which you can increase or decrease)
If something looks off, please include your gear, buffs, target, and settings, along with what you expected. Reproducible examples help a ton.
Thanks for taking a look and for the feedback so far! ^^
