Far Cry Primal Far Cry Primal is my comfort game

This game is so comforting! I've been playing it every year since 2018. I love everything about it: the colors, environments, animals, and languages are so beautiful. Sometimes I load it up just to take a stroll through Oros. I feel like the game takes place during fall, and the golden hour in this game is just gorgeous.

Far Cry 5 Old clip from 2022 I found funny.

I'm reuploading it after editing it a little bit because the video was laggy for some reason. If it's laggy again I give up.

Far Cry 4 Remember if you see the Royal Army always make sure to say hi

And give them a gift or two. The Buzzer grenade launcher combo truly is the best in the series

I downloaded Farcry 3 on my PS5 but in the bottom of the title, there’s Chinese text that says “deep into madness”. Is this supposed to be here?

Far Cry Primal ᠎

Add to this: the fact that both the Izila and the Mangkwan appear to be heavily modelled on early Indo-Europeans or the pop culture idea of them (Izila: plaster solar imagery all over the place, only view other tribes as prey, paint themselves blue, live in yurts, worship industry (especially fire) and torch everybody; Mangkwan: are blue out of the box, view the other tribes as fundamentally inferior, live in yurts, worship fire and torch everybody), and they both are opposed to a good guy, fake-First Nations faction of main heroes who are all about balance with nature. Are we sure Cameron or whoever wrote this film didn’t play Primal immediately before?

Far Cry General What FC7 needs to be successful in your opinion ?

• Upvotes

I genuinely like the series. It's my go to comfort FPS. Few days ago i finished 5, been a while since I've seen the credits in a videogame, good ride just rushed the last region a bit. Never saw Cheeseburger... Playstyle was stealth with the bow hunter lady and the mountain lion.

Now to Far Cry 6 since it is my favourite theme wise and all the toys it gives you.

For the future titles:

Story could be a little more engaging, i like the base development, the feeling of setting up a base of operations and choosing which targets to hit first.

The map, some places are really vertical. From a city to paradise looking beaches.

It's the first time i equip myself depending on a mission. Go loud ? Put the right clothes. Stealth differently, customisation is better. In 5 i used the same rifle everywhere. Now heavy armor poison rebel.

Mini games and activities are fun just the rebel missions with the timer and choose your reward could be done differenty. In general i love to be able to use npcs for stuff.

What do you think ?

Far Cry General far cry outposts do you go stealth and silent, or burn it all down?

Every far cry game has outposts, and I realized I play them the same way every time. I tag every enemy, sneak in with a silenced weapon, and clear the whole place without being seen. But every now and then I throw all of that away and blow up a fuel tank.

How do you play them?

  • Stealth purist, chaotic mess, or somewhere in between?
  • What’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve done at an outpost?
  • Which Far Cry has the best outposts, and which one has the worst?
  • Do you wish the series did something different with them?

Far Cry 6 pixelated/blurry texture issue

• Upvotes

Hey everyone, I'm experiencing a weird visual artifact in Far Cry 6. It looks like black or gray pixelated squares (almost like a glitchy censor blur) on my weapons, hands, and the environment.

This issue frequently triggers when I change locations (fast travel/loading areas), enter vehicles, or specifically during the daytime when the sun lighting is heavy.

The background environment usually looks okay, but these pixelated squares keep appearing on certain objects and shadows. Has anyone found a permanent fix for this artifact glitch? Thanks!

My Specs:

  • GPU: RTX 4060 8 GB
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • HD Texture Pack: Enabled

Honestly, the atmosphere here is extremely fantastic, and the graphics too. So what about Far Cry 7, which will be in a snowy environment with a new engine. It will be awesome, I expect

Far Cry General Do you think color settings matter a lot?

Guys, I think that the color settings in the game is so effective that it is actually like changing the graphics quality. Iykyk, there is brightness, contrast and gamma, as I understand, gamma and brightness do the same work but contrast is really changing the textures. When you starts the game, brightness and gamma is mid and contrats is a lil bit high, it lets the game more seeming like "pale". I strongly suggest you to make contrast full cuz the game really looks more realistic and lively. About gamma and brightness, I actually play them so low that the game is a lil bit dark and realistic but in the nights, it is way too dark to see around so making brightness and gamma higher is a solution but in the daytime, the game also looks some "pale". Do you all really care abt these settings or am I paranoid abt them? (And there is some pictures of FC Primal wth my settings.)

Far Cry General Which far cry had the best aura in your opinion?

I've got to give it to fc5, I just love the vibe of hope country, it having one of my favorite soundtracks in gaming in the form of the cult radio is probably a big contributing factor.

Far Cry Primal Primal length

Downloading primal for the first time and saw that it’s only 12gb which I feel is insanely small for a modern far cry game. Is it a short game to play through or is it a full length far cry game?

Far Cry 3 which choice did you make at the end of far cry 3? could this choice actually hint at who we are in real life? Spoiler

Post image

are the players who picked citra just weak-willed people who gave in to primal urges instead of doing what is right? the final choice in far cry 3 is not just about picking an ending; it reflects how much you got sucked into jason brody's descent into madness. saving your friends represents reclaiming your humanity and breaking free from the violence of rook islands, while joining citra is about fully submitting to the warrior fantasy and primal instincts. however, picking citra doesn't automatically mean someone lacks moral character in real life. many players simply wanted to see the darker narrative play out, got curious about the consequence of embracing total chaos, or roleplayed jason's lost sanity to its bitter end. what made you choose your ending, and looking back, did it say more about your curiosity or your personal morals?

Far Cry 5 Does everyone that played Far Cry 5 like Far Cry New Dawn?

Far Cry 5 is my favorite Far Cry game. I love the NPCs and the rural setting of Hope County. I have replayed it multiple times.

For New Dawn, however, I don't like the story. It is an ok game, but as a sequel I don't like it. The gameplay is fine, but there was no thrill seeing the characters from the first game in this one.

Also, the twins were not great. They seemed one dimensional and bland.
