I sometimes get the urge to introduce my friends to like FKA Twigs, Slayyyter and Tinashe but then I think what if they just find them similar to David Guetta and Bebe Rexha.

Animal Collective: Here Comes The Indian ➡️ Ark
Cher: Cher ➡️* Gypsys, Tramps & Thieve*s

What're some albums you think are so incredible that nearly no one talks about or talks about enough?

Pictured is These Four Walls by We Were Promised Jetpacks. It's genuinely a masterpiece. Blends indie rock, post punk revival, some post rock, and imo some emo like JEW era. It's such a passionate album.

Better than Whats Going On? . I will make a village to this one day

For me it’s butterfly by crazy town is the answer of this

Some days ago I asked you about the best outros, now its time for the best riffs baby! Gimme the sickest, nastiest, catchiest, down bad and mind destroying main riffs you can. It doesnt need to be guitar riffs, any instrument will do. Any rock genre allowed of course, that includes punk and metal and their subgenres as well.

On top of my head without ranking:

.Pantera - Im Broken
.Metallica - Sad But True
.Wire - Ex Lion Tamer
.The Damned - New Rose
.Joy Division - Disorder
.ZZ Top - La Grange
.Soundgarden - My Wave
.Alice In Chains - A Looking In View (Im a firm believer that Alice in Chains 2.0 f*ucking slaps and deserves more attention)
.Stevie Wonder/Jeff Beck - Superstition
.Queens Of The Stone Age - A Song For The Dead
.Blue Oyster Club - Dont Fear The Ripper
.Melvins - Honey Bucket
. Fu Manchu . Mongoose
.Electric Wizard - Funeralopolis
.Pavements - Frontwards
.Guided By Voices - A Salty Salute
.The Beatles - I Want You

Chills everytime.

For me, I’d have to say Tate. I love her choreography, and I think her music is overall catchy and palatable (unless you can’t sit through her vocals), but that it fundamentally lacks passion and soul.

Paul McCartney, Brian Wilson, Billy Joel and Elton John

Today's selection is Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon,

Let myself and others know what the absolute worst thing you can say about it, and maybe some suggestions for the next day's album, and check out yesterday's discussion on Pet Sounds below

Day 1: Pet Sounds

O my lord. It was chucks birthday recently so I decided to do a casual deep dive into the "founding father of rock and roll," thinking I'd just listen to some old tunes. NOPE.

OMFG this man is the literal R. Kelly of the past. It’s like R. Kelly studied Chuck’s entire playbook and went "ooo bet, let me do that too." I wanna puke dude. How in the hell is his legacy completely fine?? I can never listen to Back to the Future the same way ever again, I'm sick.

I love the tracks Castle and Arose off of Eminem's Revival. Both tracks confirming my belief that Eminem can still make great art past his prime. He just chooses not to lol.

I personally find her songwriting vastly underrated. Her first three proper albums are still some of my favorites.

Personally, I think she's a great performer and definitely one of the best we have currently. Her Superbowl half time show in 2017 is amazing and I also like her music.Bad Romance and Poker Face are some of my favorite songs.I'm glad to see how successful she is over almost 20 years. She's also a good actor.

I like her earlier albums as well as Chromatica.

I wanna be more knowledgable and have more stuff to listen to as I get bored of music quite quickly and feel like I’m always listening to the same albums.

I watch a podcast where they’re always talking about ‘maybe it’s a top 10 album of the year’ or ‘one of the best rap albums of the year’ when I’ve not even heard 10 new releases this year 😭

How do you do this and keep up and where do you even start? I have a lot of free time so that’s not an issue.

how do we feel about him? i find hes not talked about too often, i feel like he might be a love it or hate it kinda guy

putting together a playlist of grind, noise, death metal and sludge. so far on the list is vague illusions by cult of luna, tordenbrak by kvelertak, less meaning by the body, and the facts by trap them. yes im aware of martyr by fear factory. ideally the tambourine hits in the breakdown- but not totally necessary.

not looking for melodic/symphonic metal, folky, elven, acoustic stuff, prog, pop, rock, psych rock, funny meme stuff, or beatdown.
