About the theme song in Season 3 and also Ep. 3 "Extinction"
I wonder who thought that the problem with the theme song was that it wasn't peppy and upbeat enough? Many of us started out perplexed by the theme song and later came to love it, some people hated it from start to finish. In season 3 three, they tinkered with it and really made it so much worse. Maybe it was corny at first, but it really wore it's heart on it's sleeve trying to be inspirational. Making it more uptempo and peppy was just the worst of all worlds. I just don't understand who thought this was an improvement. I'm officially OG theme song all the way.
Season 3 "Extinction" was definitely one of the worst episodes for me. Besides the silliness of it, this just struck me as the kind of thing actors would do in an acting workshop. "Come on folks, move your body like an animal, think like an animal, really commit to it". I picture acting students just thinking that this was a valuable exercise. I honestly have no idea what acting classes are like, this is just what I imagine as the kind of cringey stuff that goes on there. Has anyone heard any of the actors talking about this episode?

Do you think in the future it is commonly known that the First contact was in Carbon Creek?
Sure, the first official contact was in Bozeman, Montana, but as we see T'Pol's great-grandma's handback at the end of the Carbon Creek episode, we know that her "story" wasn't just a story, but most-likely real. Will this become known to public in the future? Let's say with the declassification of some Vulcan records after the creation of UFP or maybe after some historical studies or so on? It might take some time, but maybe in lets say 25th, 27th or 30th century? I'd like to think of it the same way the discovery of america. For a long time, Columbus was thought to be the European to discover it, but now we know that Vikings landed there centuries earlier.

Reptilian Xindi on Earth?
We went to the Sedlec Ossuary, AKA The Bone Church, in Kutna Hora, Czechia today and found this. Kinda remind you of a Reptilian Xindi (no pics allowed at church so we borrowed this one for reference)?

Does Archer become more likable?
Admittedly, I've only seen two episodes of this show. But from what I've gathered, Archer seems like a pretty unlikeable guy especially with the pilot and his treatment of vulcans. He seems stern and humorless to say the least. Does he change to be more likable as the series goes on?

Why did Earth not go after the Vulcans for funding the Xindi?
It seems unfair we attacked some random star system just cause they happened to live there. I heard the Vulcans actually funded the xindi instead

Extinction
Wonder what ever happened to the mutagenic virus they found after storing it?
Imagine unleashing that on the Xindi or on the Borg.

Just finished Enterprise (first time) yesterday!
A little context if you're interested, totally new to Star Trek. I watched a selection of TOS episodes, the movies, then TNG, DS9, and Voyager in full, before coming to Enterprise, which I have a major soft spot for now.

I wonder how the show would have changed if tpol was also given funny lines.

Commander Shran needs their own show !
Currently rewatching Star Trek Enterprise, and always thought Shran and andorians were so interesting !
I think we need a show with him as the captain !
Double episode start:
It starts with Captain Shran leading some daring mission aboard an andorian ship.
Shran returns to earth, to attend an event at starfleet.
Admiral Archer is giving a speech to Starfleet in San Francisco, about the founding members of the federation and the first of its kind fleet, designed with the help from all member worlds. Shran and his crew are helping oversee installation of andorian systems inc weapons on the ship.
Archer boards a shuttle to meet with Shran in orbit of earth.
Cue montage of the new ships being built in orbit of earth.
Archer meets with Shran and thanks him for his work.
He mentions they are looking for non human captains, and Shran still owes him one !
Shran initially declines, but a situation develops in starfleet.
Archer convinces Shran to take control of the first of the new ships being built.
Shran heads off on his first mission.
Let me know your thoughts / comments !

These are the voyages retrospect
I realize that the Star Trek community is quite divided on these are the voyages. When the episode aired, what were your expectations, (for instance, seeing Commander riker) and how did the episode let you down, or in the opposite case surpass them?

How did they get the childrens drawings onto Enterprise?
It's not like a mail man can just pop in and deliver it. Also Enterprise wasn't back to Earth and Earth doesn't have any starbases at which enterprise could get them. So that brings me to just being set digitally, but it doesn't really strike me as if they would have any printers there since why would they have need for those. So how?
