Are there American soldiers dying for Ukraine?  What about French, German, or Polish regulars?  Are they on the front lines with Ukrainians fighting the Russians?  Is Uncle Sam with Ukraine until the end? Ukraine is cooked, and Russia is rightfully paying an incredible price to accomplish this.  It's going to be an ugly outcome.  There will be no American cavalry or European charge of the light brigade to save Ukraine.  It will be a shadow of it's forner self, thanks to the US.  Ukraine and Russia will both rot while the Europeans and Americans look on from a distance as their strategic weakening of Russia bears fruit... and all it cost NATO was a generation of Ukrainian men that weren't even NATO soldiers.

They should be brought to the Hague to face charges of war crimes. Let me be clear: Ukraine is not the primary belligerent in this war. Russia invaded Ukraine.  I blame NATO for Russian aggression due to expansion, its cruelty in stringing along Ukraine with promises it wasn't going to keep, and most of all I blame it for using Ukrainians as proxies in a war they didn't need to die in. If what you want is endless blood and more Russian deaths because you want revenge, I can't blame you.  You are justified in your feelings, but escalation will only bring more regional chaos, and potentially tactical nukes.

There WERE talks in Istanbul, but there was no completed, mutually accepted peace treaty. Nothing waiting for signatures. All the disagreements remained unresolved. And there’s zero evidence that Britain or America vetoed a finalized peace agreement. Why, cause no such agreement existed.

Don't get the idea that Israel was this callous to everyone - for months after the invasion started, Israel was going around Ukraine offering Israeli passports to Ukrainian Jews who were prohibited from leaving Ukraine and who were subject to conscription. This only stopped when Zelensky was able to generate significant pressure in the US for Israel to hand over weapons and air defense assets. Israel refused to do this, but stopped overtly helping Jews flee Ukraine.

This war needs to end. The Russians need to go back to Russia and let the Ukrainians live peacefully in Ukraine.

The amount of territory controlled in a war is not generally a good indicator of who's going to ultimately be successful in achieving their objectives. In the Korean War the UN forces occupied almost the entirety of the DPRK, but were still forced back to the DMZ. Nazi Germany managed to occupy vast swaths of Europe and the USSR, but was also ultimately unsuccessful.

Defending? Yes. Russia is indeed defending itself from the fascists in Ukraine and NATO.
