OTHER Teknoparrot, why isnt anyone review bombing these guys for selling their emulator to play pirated games?
So lately ive found out that teknoparrot exists, the only reason i did find out was because of halo fireteam raven coming to pc which used to be like a $3000 arcade machine that are very rare, i got excited thinking the community of carribean would provide this free, they do provide the game files free but once you try to run it, it will say for games recently released you have to pay for a subscription via their patreon which is a joke, extorting piracy and trying to make money from it when the games they are emulating dont have agreements with them and they are making cash from people? Microsoft should sue the living hell out of them. out of all the emulators ive used that have been free even yuzu that used to exist was free for all games to be used? Then we have teknoparrot, and a greedy guy called nico giusanti or something who's living in United Arab emirates probably in dubai from all the pirated crap he makes money from using his emulator, he should be sent to trial and the teknoparrot emulator to be open source instead of closed so they cant make a profit, they also use server authentication so you cant crack their emulator to bypass the subscription, they are absolutely soggy biscuits that only care for money and not the community! I hope teknoparrot rots away... using fans of halo to coerce them to buy a subscription is scummy and not what emulation is about, emulation is about preservation not adding more prices to already old stuff.
Edit here:
There are over 5000 discord members in teknoparrot that have people going around these reddits downvoting these posts so they dont gain traction against them which means they will be able to continue doing this practice, people need to stand up before other emulators copy them and do the same thing, so it makes sense im going to get downvoted when they probably have snipers in reddit watching for these sort of posts.
another edit:
I did more research, isnt it funny how the files for halo fireteam raven are all over the websites now ever since they got it working on their emulator only a few days ago, i looked myself before this existed and couldnt find any files for the game anywhere, seems like it was all planned for them to get the game to run on their loader on the emulator and get the game files online for people to access so they can get people to subscribe to their patreon, that's dirty business that and pretending they haven't uploaded the files is a lie, people aren't just gonna turn up with arcade machines files straight after they got it working on their emulator. deffo set up this.
final edit - thank you all for support, I have reported this issue to [dmcaagnt@microsoft.com](mailto:dmcaagnt@microsoft.com) and they said they will be actively investigating the issue. hopefully something will be done. I will post with any updates !

Suggestion Budget projector for retro gaming with low input lag?
Hey everyone!
I’m looking for a reasonably priced projector for retro gaming. I want to connect it to my MacBook Pro M4 Pro and play emulated retro games on a big screen.
My main priority is low input lag, especially for fast-paced games like platformers, fighting games, and classic action games. I don’t need a high-end home theater projector, just something affordable that delivers a smooth and responsive gaming experience.
Ideally, I’m looking for:
Low input lag for responsive gameplay.
A decent image quality and resolution.
Good value for money — nothing too expensive.
Compatibility with my MacBook Pro M4 Pro.
Does anyone have recommendations for budget-friendly projectors that work well for retro gaming? Are there any specific models I should look at, or features I should prioritize to minimize input lag?
I’d really appreciate any suggestions or personal experiences. Thanks!

Suggestion Title: [shadPS4 fork] The Order: 1886 black triangle glitch fixed, NHL 24 plays full matches without a custom config, NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered renders again
Hey all. I maintain a small shadPS4 fork that I test on an RTX 3080. I did the debugging for this release with Claude (Anthropic's AI). New build with the launcher included:
Download: https://github.com/vsajjadx/shadPS4/releases/tag/order-glitch-fix-2026-10-23
The Order: 1886: the random black triangle / gray rectangle
If you've played The Order on shadPS4, you've probably seen it: every few seconds, for a single frame, a huge black triangle or a fog-gray rectangle flashes over the scene. It was worst around the door in the first chapter, at about one frame in ten. (Images 1 and 2.)
Finding it took a while:
Recording the frame in RenderDoc and replaying it gave a different result each time: about 1 replay in 10 showed the triangle, with exactly the same commands and data.
Bisecting the replays showed that one small instanced draw (24 indices, 6 instances) was writing a broken triangle into the depth buffer.
That draw's vertex shader contains a GCN "waterfall" loop. It picks the first active lane's instance id (readfirstlane), the lanes with that instance do their work, and the loop repeats.
On the PS4, all lanes of a wave always run together, so this is safe. On NVIDIA, when the loop runs more than once, it sometimes read another vertex's instance id, and that vertex shot across the screen.
The proof: in RenderDoc I swapped only that cross-lane read for the vertex's own value, and the triangle went from about 10% of replays to 0 out of 120.
The fix: which vertices share a wave is up to the hardware, so no correct vertex shader can depend on its neighbours, and a wave with a single active lane is a perfectly valid PS4 execution. The emulator now runs each vertex as its own wave, so these loops always read the vertex's own data. It's a general fix in the shader recompiler, with no game-specific hack, so any game whose vertex shaders do this benefits.
Also fixed in The Order in this release:
Enemy faces turning black: a shader compiled in the background read the game's texture descriptors after the game had already changed them.
Occasional frames with black or unlit patches, caused by a GPU command reading data that had already been reused.
Two crashes, one of them in a later area.
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered: black world
The game drew only the HUD and the rear-view mirror; everything else was black (image 4). For some draws the game uses the PS4 driver's built-in shaders, which the emulator keeps inside its own executable, and a safety check thought those addresses were invalid and skipped every one of those draws. They're allowed now.
Readbacks
Every game now runs with at Auto GPU readbacks, so The Order and NHL 24 no longer need a custom config. NHL 24 plays a full match with clean ice on relaxed instead of precise.
Tested on this build (images 3, 5–7)
The Order: 1886, NHL 24 (a full match, no crash at the end of the third period), UFC 4, inFAMOUS Second Son, The Grand Tour Game and NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered. All on an RTX 3080 / Windows.
Notes:
The first run after updating recompiles shaders, so expect some hitching in that first session.
It's a fork, not an official shadPS4 build,

OTHER NEW RELEASE - Pokémon Pinball No Split 2.7
POKEMON PINBALL NO SPLIT IS AN EMULATOR FOR POKEMON PINBALL GBC ON ANDROID AND WINDOWS.
ROM IS NOT INCLUDED.
Pinball NS - https://github.com/ReiniShari/Pinball-NS
A mod of Pokémon Pinball (Game Boy Color, US version) for Android and Windows, written in C with an emulation core in assembly.
In the original game, each table is split into a top and a bottom stage: only one is loaded at a time, and the screen goes blank while the other is loaded. Pinball NS turns each table into a single field: both halves are loaded, updated and shown together on one tall screen, and the ball moves between them without any reloading. The original physics and collisions are kept, so the table plays like the original.
The whole table on one screen, the score bar under the table.
Objects, lights and animations of both halves are always running; flippers moving even when the ball is at the top.
The top of the "SLOT" cave halo, never visible in the original, completed by symmetry.
Smooth pacing on 60, 90, 120 and 144 Hz screens, with the sound following the picture.
Android: the game fills the width of a portrait screen, extended to the edges with its own graphics, with touch controls styled after each table.
Windows: the table alone in a resizable window, keyboard and gamepad, key mapping tool.
The ROM is never modified: the program contains a Game Boy Color emulator and hooks the game's routines.
WHAT'S NEW IN v2.7
Sound: steady pitch and tempo (Bluetooth outputs, screens changing their refresh rate, after the menu), the bass closer to the Game Boy Color, no silence added.
Touch controls answer on their drawn shapes only; TOUCH FLIPPERS option (the left and right halves of the game).
• New options: MOTION TILT (shake the phone to tilt), SCREEN FILTER (dot, LCD), COLORS (black and white, Game Boy green), and an ABOUT page.
Next to come : iOS version, Generations compatibility
Please enjoy, any feedback is appreciated
(AI has been used for assembly core optimisation, test - debug - general optimization routine and various tasks ;-))

Help Me Pls! Switch games format prod.keys / title.keys
Hello everyone! I was looking for a way to play Switch games on my iPad, and I ended up installing meloNX. However, the app requires games in `prod.keys` / `title.keys` format... I’ve gathered that you need a hacked Switch for this, but I don’t have one. If anyone knows of any reliable sites where I can download these, I’d appreciate it. I’d also love for someone to explain how to extract them, though I suppose that might be asking too much!
Thanks a lot!

Help Me Pls! HOW to make a usable game folder from a pkg file???
I'm trying to take a PS5 ROM pkg file that has been merged from 4 GB files into one, and make it usable for kyty emulator. I've searching for hours, and can't get a clear answer. I got the PS5 PKG Tool and extracted the files. It gave an error, but I still ended up with the extracted game files, but it is missing the eboot.ini file. The kyty emulator is still not recognizing the game. I can't find any video or website or forum to explain how to take a PKG merged game file and make it into a usable game folder. I've been looking for hours over the past few nights, and this is as far as I have got.
I would like to start with the pkg file. How to make it usable? Thank you
